3 L azienda The Company L azienda Sägen-Mehring fu fondata nel 1913 a Dresda da A.H.Mehring, nel 1918 l azienda fu acquisita dal Sig. Gerhard Döring e nel 1949 fu trasferita a Hockenheim. Why does Rix use laser technology rather than electron beam welding? L applicazione del materiale da taglio sul materiale di supporto flessibile mediante tecnologia laser ha molti vantaggi rispetto alla saldatura a fascio di elettroni. Applying the edging material onto the backing material with the help of laser technology offers many advantages compared to electron beam welding. Nella tecnologia laser la zona sotto influsso termico è più piccola e più omogenea rispetto alla saldatura a fascio di elettroni. With laser technology, the heat-affected zone is smaller and considerably more homogeneous than with electron beam welding. Taglienti di qualità unica Tooth edges of unrivalled quality Il più grande vantaggio di questa tecnologia sta nell'alto livello qualitativo dei taglienti. The greatest advantage of this grinding technology is the high quality of the cutting edges. La precisione dei taglienti è notevolmente migliorata e le gole presentano una rugosità sensibilmente inferiore. The precision of the cutting edges are significantly improved and the gullet area has a smoother surface finish. 6 Informazioni tecniche Technical Information ASP ASP Grazie alla metallurgia delle polveri, gli acciai ASP rappresentano la nuova generazione degli acciai rapidi. L'acciaio ASP utilizzato da Rix è altolegato e garantisce una durezza della punta del dente di 70 HRC. Questi nuovi acciai dispongono di caratteristiche che gli acciai rapidi tradizionali non hanno. Powder metallurgy makes ASP steels the new generation of high-speed steels. The ASP steel used by Rix is highly alloyed and allows for tooth tip hardness up to 70 HRC. These new steels show characteristics that are not to be found in traditional high speed steels. La presenza di un maggior numero di componenti di lega garantisce una maggiore durezza. This gives them greater hardness due to a higher number of alloy components. L utilizzo di granuli di carburo più piccoli permette di ottenere una maggiore elasticità. The use of smaller carbide particles makes for higher elasticity. ASP steel contains a higher proportion of vanadium carbides and is highly resistant to high cutting pressure and all forms of wear. HSS Gli acciai rapidi tradizionali presentano granuli di carburo di grandi dimensioni, non distribuiti in maniera omogenea. "Conventional" HSS has large carbide particles that are not uniformly distributed. ASP Al contrario, gli acciai ASP hanno granuli di carburi più piccoli, distribuiti in maniera omogenea. ASP Grazie alla disposizione e alle dimensioni limitate dei carburi gli acciai ASP presentano una minore sensibilità agli urti rispetto agli acciai rapidi tradizionali. The arrangement and small size of the carbides give ASP steels lower impact sensitivity compared to conventional HSS steels. Quindi, per quanto riguarda gli acciai ASP non si parla più di High Speed Steels (HSS), ma, grazie alle loro nuove caratteristiche, di High Feed Steels (HFS). This is why ASP steels are not referred to as high speed steels (HSS), but high feed steels (HFS), based on their new characteristics. 6

SPF is a patented combination of six different steps to optimize the surface, the cutting edge and the tooth geometry during the production process. Variable Tooth Variable tooth pitch has different tooth distances (t1, t2, t3,...) within a group of teeth. I taglienti dei denti vengono ottenuti mediante fresatura o rettifica. It is suitable for sawing materials with high carbon content (such as cast iron), for materials with small cross sections and for thin-walled tubes and profiles. 20 Rix Astroflex M42 ProCut SPF Rix Astroflex M42 ProCut SPF Nastro speciale per il taglio di tubi e profili. Special bandsaw blade for cutting tubes and profiles. Questo nastro è prodotto con un angolo di taglio positivo e un dorso del dente rinforzato, che riducono al minimo colpi e vibrazioni prevenendo così danni ai denti stessi. This blade is produced with a positive hook angle and a reinforced tooth back that minimizes vibration and thus prevents tooth damage. Inoltre il nastro è stato sottoposto al nostro speciale trattamento SixPointFinish (SPF ). The blade has also undergone our specially developed SixPointFinish (SPF ) process.
