Hummmm Alla goccia! A te capo! Question 1 continues on page 3 2

Question 1 (continued) Marks (a) What does Martino mean when he says to Alex Sei proprio un pulcino!? 2 (b) Explain how Aidi s remarks in lines 7 9 reflect her character. 3 (c) What is the director s purpose in juxtaposing these two scenes? Discuss in relation to settings and dialogue. 4 Question 1 continues on page 4 3

Question 1 (continued) Marks (d) Analyse the role of friendship as portrayed in the extracts you have studied from the film. 6 End of Question 1 4 Board of Studies NSW 2002

2002 HIGHER SCHOOL CERTIFICATE EXAMINATION Italian Extension Section I (continued) Part B 10 marks Attempt Question 2 Answer the question in a writing booklet. Extra writing booklets are available. In your answer you will be assessed on how well you: demonstrate an understanding of the prescribed text write in Italian for a specific context Question 2 (10 marks) Read the extract from the film, Jack Frusciante è uscito dal gruppo, then answer the question that follows. Write approximately 200 words in ITALIAN. Ci stanno imbrogliando tutti quanti. After Martino s burial, Alex and Aidi are trying to make sense of his death. Write the script of their conversation. Please turn over 392 5
