Eco-REFITec: Seminary and Training course About Eco-REFITec: Eco-REFITEC is a research project funded by the European Commission under the 7 th framework Program; that intends to support repair shipyards and ship operators to perform a refitting of existing fleet through technological development and new tools, helping shipping benchmarking their performance, improving the retrofit processes and products, and assessing environmental and life cycle cost impact. About the Training Course: The aim of Eco-REFITEC training course is to facilitate the development of skills in disciplines related to Ship Retrofitting and Eco-innovative technologies, promoting the use of the new tools useful for improving the energy and environmental efficiency of the company, as well as the know-how transfer between research groups. This training is aimed primarily at project managers and engineers involved in the planning, design and technological provision of shipping sector. Eco-REFITec Seminary and Training course Riguardo Eco-REFITec: Eco-REFITEC è un progetto di ricerca finanziato dalla Commissione Europea che intende supportare i cantieri di riparazione e gli operatori marittimi nella scelta e nella realizzazione di modifiche e trasformazioni di retro-fitting della flotta esistente, utilizzando nuove soluzioni e strumenti tecnologici in grado di migliorare i prodotti, i processi e la gestione, includendo valutazioni in termini di impatto ambientale e di ciclo di vita. Riguardo al Training Course: L obiettivo del training course di Eco-REFITec è facilitare lo sviluppo di competenze in materia di retro-fitting e di tecnologie Eco-innovative, promuovendo l uso di nuovi tools utili per il miglioramento dell efficienza energetica e ambientale delle aziende cantieristiche ed armatoriali, anche attraverso il trasferimento di conoscenze tra diversi settori di ricerca. Il training course è principalmente rivolto ai manager e agli operatori del settore marittimo coinvolti nei processi di pianificazione, progettazione, selezione e gestione delle soluzioni tecnologiche avanzate disponibili ed applicabili in soluzione retro-fitting.
