2 PORTOFINO collection MODO10 Il nostro lavoro nasce da una lunga ricerca, da un idea che a poco a poco prende forma e si definisce in maniera fluida durante tutto il processo produttivo; e il prodotto finale si sviluppa quasi spontaneo. Il bagaglio di esperienza di due generazioni a confronto nel mondo dell arredamento è il nostro biglietto da visita, le nostre mani che profumano di legno è la garanzia di un buon lavoro e il piacere sempre nuovo di sperimentare a contatto con la materia. Our fine furniture is renowned for its elegant design and quality wood crafting. Our work is the fruit of a long complex process; it begins with a concept that gradually takes shape and is developed with expertise throughout the whole productive process, the end product seeming the result of spontaneous evolution. Two generations of hands-on experience in the furnishing industry has earned us a welldeserved reputation as experts in our sector: hands that smell of natural woods are the guarantee of craftsmanship and show the pleasure of working constantly in contact with quality materials to create new products. Our Modo10 range is outstanding for the quality precision applied throughout production and the careful hand finishing of every single piece. Crediamo che solo un attenta cura nel processo estrattivo degli alberi possa sostenere il delicato equilibrio tra l uomo e l ambiente. Natura intesa non come bene infinito ed inesauribile, ma come un delicato e prezioso giardino. Abbiamo quindi scelto realizzazioni che, secondo noi, sono in sintonia con l ambiente e discrete nei confronti della terra. Essenza viva e duratura Beautiful wood to last a life-time Wood is a natural living material: internally, it preserves traces of the past, but externally it evolves and changes constantly like mankind. In spite of the huge range of new materials that are continuously proposed on the market, natural wood remains a favourite: the symbol of longlasting quality. The other distinctive aspect of the MODO10 range: the entire production process is performed exclusively in Italy. The Modo10 line combines plain simple materials with strong quality in design, characteristics typical of Italian craftsmanship. The natural ash wood used for the Portofino range is beautiful to the touch, obtained through a brushing process performed along the grain; the white lacquer finish on the open-pored wood enhances the texture.
