ITALIANO 1. Generalità Il convertitore INTHETERNET permette di collegare ad una rete ETHERNET le centrali M5000 e M3000 e di gestirle con il pacchetto SW5000 o AMIGO. Il dispositivo permette di assegnare ad una rete di centrali un indirizzo IP con cui individuarle all interno di una rete ETHERNET. Insieme al dispositivo viene distribuito un software in grado di redirige su un indirizzo IP della rete il flusso di dati che un applicazione, ad esempio SW5000, invia su una porta COM. In caso di utilizzo del software SW5000 è necessario installare sia il convertitore che il software di redirezione, invece se si utilizza Amigo è sufficiente installare il convertitore. 2. ITALIANO 3. Collegamento e programmazione del convertitore INTETHERNET Collegare il convertitore INTETHERNET alla porta seriale del PC e lasciare per il momento scollegata l alimentazione. Lanciare il programma di comunicazione HyperTerminal e impostare una sessione di collegamento come descritto nelle figure seguenti Dopo aver impostato le proprietà della porta, mantenere premuto il tasto «x» minuscolo sulla tastiera del PC e alimentare il convertitore. Appena compare l intestazione della comunicazione con il convertitore, premere ENTER entro 3 secondi per accedere al menu di programmazione. E necessario configurare l indirizzo IP del convertitore per poterlo connettere nella rete Ethernet in cui si vuole eseguire l installazione. Selezionare 0 (Server configuration). Impostare i parametri richiesti come segue: IP Address: valore nel formato xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (ad es: 192.168.0.221). Tipicamente, i primi 3 valori sono comuni a tutti i dispositivi della rete e il quarto valore identifica univocamente ogni dispositivo sulla rete. L IP Address deve quindi essere diverso da quello di altri dispositivi presenti in rete e, se si installano più convertitori INTETHERNET, ognuno di essi dovrà avere un IP Address diverso. ITALIANO Selezionare 1 (Channel 1 configuration) Tutti i parametri richiesti sono già impostati ai valori corretti, ad esclusione di Remote IP Address, che deve essere impostato allo stesso valore di dell IP Address inserito al passo precedente. Se si sta configurando il convertitore per AMIGO allora è necessario modificare anche il valore di Port No. Seguono un esempio di configurazione per SW5000 ed uno per SWAMIGO. ITALIANO Selezionare 9 per salvare e chiudere la comunicazione con il convertitore. Collegare il convertitore alla centrale di controllo accessi M5000/M3000 e alla rete Ethernet. Per il collegamento alla rete utilizzare un cavo patch con connettori RJ45. Per il collegamento alla centrale di controllo accessi, utilizzare il connettore a vaschetta in dotazione, con terminali D+, D- e GND, da connettere ai corrispondenti morsetti della centrale. Configurazione di SW5000 Per utilizzare il convertitore con SW5000 è necessario installare il software Redirector e poi impostare SW5000. 4.1 Installazione del Software Redirector Lanciare il programma red32bit.exe, contenuto nel CD allegato, e seguire le istruzioni di installazione. Al termine lanciare il software di redirezione delle porte seriali da Avvio Programmi Lantronix Redirector Configuration. Nella finestra del programma selezionare Com Setup. Compare una finestra con l elenco delle possibili porte COM virtuali. Selezionare le porte COM che si desidera configurare per l utilizzo di convertitori INTETHERNET. Confermare con Ok.
ITALIANO Nella finestra Principale, selezionare la porta COM virtuale che si desidera configurare. Selezionare quindi Add IP. Compare la finestra per l impostazione dei parametri per la redirezione della porta COM. Compilare il campo Host con l IP Address del convertitore, impostato come descritto al paragrafo precedente, e il campo TCPPort con il valore 3000. Confermare con Ok. Nella finestra principale, selezionare la casella Silent Mode. Salvare la configurazione con Save e uscire dal programma con Close. E consigliabile eseguire un riavvio del PC per rendere effettive le impostazioni. 4.2 Impostazioni in SW5000 Lanciare SW5000. Selezionare Parametri Impianti terminali e aprire la finestra delle Proprietà dell impianto che si desidera gestire tramite rete ETHERNET. Nel campo Porta comunicazione, inserire la porta COM in precedenza rediretta sull indirizzo IP del convertitore INTETHERNET (paragrafo 4).
ITALIANO 5. Configurazione di AMIGO Lanciare il programma Amigo. Per utilizzare AMIGO con un impianto collegato alla rete ETHERNET attraverso il convertitore LANTRONIX è sufficiente aprire la finestra di Gestione Impianti ed impostare la comunicazione TCP IP ed i parametri Indirizzo, Mask e Porta. I parametri Indirizzo e Porta devono essere impostati rispettivamente ai valori Remote IP Address e Port No memorizzati in precedenza nel convertitore (paragrafo 3 "Collegamento e programmazione del convertitore INTETHERNET a pag. 2). Il parametro Mask dipende dalla configurazione della rete ETHERNET e viene tipicamente impostato al valore 255.255.255.0.

General features The INTHETERNET converter allows connection of a network of M5000 and M3000 central units to an Ethernet network, so that they can be managed via the SW5000 or AMIGO software. The device permits to assign an IP address to the central units network. By means of the dedicated software Redirector it is possible to redirect the data flow sent to a COM port by an application, for example SW5000, to an IP address of the Ethernet network. In case you are using SW5000 you will have to install both the device and the Redirector software, in case you are using AMIGO you will only need to install the device. 2. ENGLISH 3. Connecting and programming the INTETHERNET Connect the converter to the serial port of the PC: don t power up the unit at this time. Run the communication program HyperTerminal and set-up a connection session with the following parameters: Baud Rate 9600, 8 Data bit, no parity, 1 stop bit, no handshake. After setting the port properties, hold down the lowercase x key on the PC keyboard and power up the converter. The initialisation text is displayed. Press ENTER within 3 seconds to enter the programming menu. It is needed to configure the IP address of the converter in order to connect it to the Ethernet network. Select 0 (Server configuration). Set the required parameters as follows: IP Address: value in the format (e.g.: 192.168.0.221). Typically, the first 3 values are common to all the devices of the network and the fourth value is proper of a single device. The IP Address must be different than any other IP address existing in the network and, if more than one INTHETERNET is installed, each one must have a unique IP address. Set Gateway IP Address: N (default) Netmask: 00 (default) Change telnet config password: N (default) Select 1 (Channel 1 configuration) All the required parameters are already set to the correct values, excluding Remote IP Address, which must be set to the same value of the IP Address programmed at previous step. If the converter must be used with Amigo also the Port No. filed must be modified. The two pictures below show an example of configuration for SW5000 and another for SWAMIGO.

Connect the converter to the access control unit M5000/M3000 and to the Ethernet network. Use a patch cable with RJ45 connectors for the connection to the network. For connection to the access control unit, use the D-sub 25-pin male connector provided, with terminals D+, D- e GND, to be connected to the correspondent terminal blocks in the access control unit. SW5000 configuration In order to manage via SW5000 the network of M5000 and M3000 central units connected to an Ethernet network you will have to install both the device and the Redirector software. 4.1 Installing the Redirector software Run the program red32bit.exe, contained in the included CD-ROM, and follow the installation instructions. At the end, run the software for the redirection of the serial ports from Start - Program files - Lantronix Redirector Configuration. In the main window of the program select Com Setup. A window is displayed with the list of the available virtual COM ports. Select the COM ports that you want to configure for using the INTETHERNET converters. Confirm with Ok.. In the main window, select the virtual COM port to be configured, and then select Add IP. The window for setting the parameters of redirection is displayed. Fill the Host field with the IP address of the converter, as described at previous paragraph, and the TCPPort field with value 3000. Confirm with Ok.
In the main window, select the Silent Mode box. Save the configuration with Save and exit with Close. It is advisable to reboot the PC so that the settings became effective. ENGLISH 4.2 Settings in SW5000 Run SW5000. Select Parameters Terminal installations and open the window of the properties of the installation that is to be managed via the Ethernet network. In the field Communication port, select the COM port previously redirected to the IP address of the INTETHERNET converter (paragraph 4).
ENGLISH 5. Amigo configuration In order to manage via Amigo the network of M5000 and M3000 central units connected to an Ethernet network you will have to install the device (3 Connecting and programming the INTETHERNET on pg. 8) and to properly configure the Amigo software. Run Amigo. Open the Site maintenance window and set the TCP IP check box. The Address and Port field must be set to the value previously configured in the Remote IP Address and Port No. of the LANTRONIX device (3 Connecting and programming the INTETHERNET on pg. 8). The Mask filed depends on the Ethernet network configuration, a typical value is 255.255.255.0.
