Question 9 (10 marks) Il Blog di Mario EHI voi! Sì voi! Vi è mai capitato di non volere andare a scuola non perché non vi piace imparare, ma perché non vi sentite sereni? Io sono uno studente di liceo e per me la scuola deve essere un posto sicuro e felice per tutti. Che ne pensate? Claudia: Mario, io ho finito la scuola superiore 2 anni fa e non vedevo l ora. Quei 5 anni per me sono stati una lotta continua, che inferno! A volte mi sentivo invisibile, una nullità; altri giorni, invece, riuscivo a sopportare appena le occhiate e le risatine malvagie delle mie carissime compagne di banco. La mia strategia di sopravvivenza? Evitare qualsiasi contatto con loro e non parlarne con nessuno, tanto nessuno fa niente. Ora lavoro felicemente in un negozio di abbigliamento dove sono apprezzata. Per fortuna questi problemi sociali esistono solo negli anni di scuola. Si vede che la gente crescendo impara i valori della vita e a rispettare gli altri. Lucia: Mario: Stefano: Ma come? Io sono una nonna. I miei due nipotini che vanno alla scuola elementare sono sempre così felici e adorano la loro dedicatissima maestra. Le loro classi sono armoniose e stimolanti. Sono tutti amici e giocano insieme. Non c è malignità quando si è piccoli. A volte gli scherzi dei bambini sono fraintesi dagli adulti, quando in effetti sono solo giochi innocenti. Scusi, Lucia, ma su quale pianeta abita?! Cara Claudia, purtroppo persone come le hai descritte tu esistono ovunque. Da compagni di banco ce li ritroviamo poi a colleghi d ufficio. Certi individui non maturano con l età, alcuni peggiorano! Claudia, simili comportamenti vanno denunciati, non devono passare inosservati e soprattutto bisogna punire chi causa tanto male sia a scuola che al lavoro. 2482 7

Ripubblichiamo la lettera di Marco insieme a due risposte dei nostri lettori con le loro opinioni e suggerimenti concreti. Firenze, 4 settembre Sono Marco, qui a Firenze le strade stanno diventando un mondo a colori. I murales sono un mezzo di espressione con cui gli artisti raccontano storie fatte di simboli o disegni e mandano un messaggio alla società. Non sono vandali, ma writers, pittori della nostra epoca con un proprio codice etico: rispettano i monumenti e dipingono gratuitamente utilizzando il tessuto urbano invece della tela. I writers sono ben diversi dagli imbrattatori che si sfogano con frasi provocatorie o simboli osceni. I veri artisti di strada abbelliscono creativamente i muri grigi e anche per questo la loro arte va apprezzata e non criticata. Sarebbe bello, anzi, organizzare un concorso per premiare i murales più belli d Italia! Salerno, 25 settembre Ciao Marco, sono Elena, un insegnante vicina alla pensione, in una scuola elementare. Sono grande amante dell arte tradizionale, quella dei musei e delle chiese, e non certo appassionata di street art! Qualche anno fa, un giovane collega ha pensato di abbellire la scuola con fantasiosi murales. Io ero assolutamente contraria e mi sono scontrata con gli altri docenti. Poi, però, l iniziativa si è rivelata molto positiva e divertente per tutti, adulti e soprattutto bambini. La scuola adesso è un ambiente molto più allegro. Ammetto che i miei erano solamente pregiudizi. Bologna, 25 settembre Sono Fabio. Non c è assolutamente nessuna differenza tra writers e imbrattatori! Questi artisti come li chiami tu, Marco, sono solo vandali che impongono con violenza scarabocchi aggressivi e ripugnanti. Hanno rovinato il paesaggio urbano del mio quartiere. Altro che abbellire, io vedo solo bruttezza! È ripugnante trovare simboli volgari e parolacce sui muri della mia città. Purtroppo non sporcano solo i muri spogli dei condomini ma rovinano anche edifici antichi e monumenti secolari. Quando vedo un antico palazzo imbrattato è come se qualcuno bruciasse una biblioteca di libri rari e preziosi. Mi piange il cuore! Vogliamo continuare a guardare impotenti la distruzione della nostra civiltà? BASTA! La soluzione è fermare questi barbari! Ribelliamoci! Denunciamoli! Proibiamo la vendita delle bombolette spray e chiediamo al governo di multare pesantemente i trasgressori! 8
