Europa 2020 Una strategia per una crescita intelligente, sostenibile e inclusiva Il 3 marzo 2010 la Commissione Europea lancia la nuova strategia Europa 2020 al fine di uscire dalla crisi e indirizzare lo sviluppo dell economia dell'unione Europea durante il prossimo decennio
Europa2020 - Assi prioritari 1. CRESCITA INTELLIGENTE sviluppare un'economia basata sulla conoscenza e sull'innovazione 2. CRESCITA SOSTENIBILE promuovere un'economia più efficiente sotto il profilo delle risorse, più verde e più competitiva; 3. CRESCITA INCLUSIVA promuovere un'economia con un alto tasso di occupazione, che favorisca la coesione economica, sociale e territoriale
Europa2020 - Traguardi 5 OBIETTIVI PRINCIPALI DA RAGGIUNGERE ENTRO IL 2020: 1. il 75% delle persone di età compresa tra 20 e 64 anni deve avere un lavoro 2. il 3% del PIL dell'ue deve essere investito in R&S 3. i traguardi "20/20/20" in materia di clima/energia devono essere raggiunti 4. il tasso di abbandono scolastico deve essere inferiore al 10% e almeno il 40% dei giovani deve avere una laurea o un diploma 5. 20 milioni di persone in meno devono essere a rischio di povertà

Europa 2010 - Iniziative faro Innovation Union Unione dell innovazione migliora le condizioni generali e l accesso ai finanziamenti per la ricerca e l innovazione. completare lo Spazio Europeo della Ricerca e definire un programma strategico per la ricerca potenziare e sviluppare maggiormente il ruolo pro-innovazione degli strumenti dell UE (ad es. 7PQ di R&S, CIP, fondi strutturali ) riformare a livello nazionale i sistemi di R&S e innovazione nazionali e regionali per favorire l eccellenza e la cooperazione tra università, centri di ricerca e imprese HORIZON 2020 - (financial instrument implementing Innovation Union)

Accesso ad internet veloce e superveloce Abbiamo bisogno di un internet molto veloce perché l'economia cresca rapidamente, creando posti di lavoro e ricchezza, e per garantire che i cittadini abbiano accesso ai contenuti e ai servizi che desiderano. AZIONI consolidare e razionalizzare il finanziamento della banda larga ad alta velocità tramite strumenti dell'unione (ad es. FESR, ERDP, FEASR, TEN, PIE) entro il 2014 Gli Stati membri sono chiamati a: Elaborare e rendere operativi, entro il 2012, piani nazionali per la banda larga, Adottare misure, comprese disposizioni giuridiche, per facilitare gli investimenti nella banda larga, Utilizzare i fondi strutturali e per lo sviluppo rurale già accantonati per investimenti in infrastrutture e servizi TIC; Mettere in atto il programma sulla politica europea in materia di spettro radio per raggiungere il 100% di copertura di internet a 30 Mbps entro il 2020.
