85 FLY / FLYBRIDGE / // AICON YACHTS LIBERTA EN PLEIN AIR / Il viaggio a bordo del flybridge è sempre qualcosa di speciale: al sole, il soft top si apre con rapidità ed eleganza premendo un solo pulsante. Gli ospiti trovano un ampia e comoda dinette all aperto, con divano per sei persone e tavolo da pranzo, affiancato da un mobile bar attrezzato con lavabo, minifrigo e barbecue elettrico. Più a prua è stata ricavata un area relax costituita da un divano ad angolo per le conversazioni al riparo dal vento, l ideale per rilassarsi durante la vita di crociera. Al centro del fly è posizionata la grande vasca idromassaggio Jacuzzi per 4 persone e il grande prendisole. Sempre sul ponte fly, ma in posizione defilata a poppavia, è stato ricavato l alloggio per il tender che viene movimentato da una gru idraulica. OPEN AIR FREEDOM / Sailing on board a flybridge is always a special experience in the sun the soft top opens with speed and elegance at the simple touch of a button. Guests are offered a spacious, comfortable open air dinette with divans to seat six and a lunch table, flanked by a bar unit with sink, minifridge and electric BBQ. Further forward is a relaxation area with a corner divan for conversations sheltered from the wind, an ideal spot to relax during a cruise. The large 4-person Jacuzzi is located in the centre of the flybridge, together with a roomy sunpad. Further aft on the flybridge is the stowage space for the tender, launched with a hydraulic davit.

YARDS // AICON YACHTS Complessivamente oggi Aicon dispone di due aree produttive, entrambe in provincia di Messina, suddivise tra l ormai storico sito di Giammoro (ME), dove ha sede un area dedicata alla produzione della linea flybridge ed una alla produzione dei megayacht, ed il sito di Villafranca Tirrena (ME), dove viene realizzata la produzione della linea open. Il sito di Giammoro ospita anche il Centro Direzionale ed il Centro Stile Aicon, dove viene svolta l attività di design e di ricerca e sviluppo. La produzione è caratterizzata da un elevato grado di industrializzazione del processo e da un modello di business ad integrazione verticale, grazie all ingegnerizzazione di prodotto e delle singole componenti, che permette un ricorso selettivo all outsourcing e si caratterizza per flessibilità ed efficienza. Lungo tutto il ciclo produttivo, inoltre, Aicon ha individuato appositi controlli volti a monitorare la qualità dell intero processo e a garantire elevati standard ai suoi yacht. Aicon now has two production bases in all, both in the Province of Messina - the now historic site in Giammoro, with one section dedicated to the production of the flybridge line and another to megayachts, and the Villafranca Tirrena site for the production of the open line. The Giammoro site is also home to the Management Centre and the Aicon Style Centre, headquarters for design and R&D. Production is characterised by a high level of process industrialisation and a vertically-integrated business model, where product and single component engineering enables selective use of outsourcing and creates outstanding flexibility and efficiency. CRM // AICON YACHTS In linea con la filosofia Aicon di offrire agli armatori una Complete Yachting Experience, che non si esaurisce solo nella realizzazione del prodotto, ma che accompagna l armatore durante la sua esperienza nautica, Aicon riserva grande attenzione al Customer Relationship Management, che prevede l offerta di efficienti servizi di post vendita, assistenza tecnica e customer care. Il Gruppo Aicon fornisce un completo servizio di assistenza nei mercati in cui opera, grazie a proprie squadre di pronto intervento e alla stretta collaborazione con i propri fornitori e con i dealer, con l obiettivo di offrire un efficiente supporto al cliente in caso di necessità. R&D // AICON YACHTS La ricerca costante di soluzioni innovative e di design costituisce una delle chiavi del successo di Aicon. E per questo che il gruppo ha creato il Centro Stile, responsabile dell attività di design e di ricerca e sviluppo stilistica, volta a definire e valorizzare l identità estetica del marchio e degli yacht Aicon. Il Centro Stile lavora a stretto contatto con il Centro Ricerche Tecnologiche, che si occupa di creare soluzioni tecnologiche innovative in grado di caratterizzare i processi di industrializzazione ed i metodi costruttivi del Gruppo Aicon; in particolare, gli stretti rapporti di collaborazione con le Università e i Centri di Ricerca, oltre ai progetti già in corso all interno dell azienda, sono volti a creare una piattaforma tecnologica in grado di supportare i futuri processi e metodi di costruzione con diretti benefici alla resistenza, all affidabilità ed alla durata delle componenti in materiale composito, acciaio e legno. Negli ultimi anni, inoltre, Aicon ha dato avvio a importanti progetti di ricerca in collaborazione con le Università Siciliane. Alla fine del 2006, inoltre, in collaborazione con la Facoltà di Architettura dell Università di Reggio Calabria, Aicon ha dato avvio a un Master in Interior Naval Design denominato Yacht Mind : un progetto volto a formare specialisti nel design di imbarcazioni di lusso, testimonianza del costante impegno del gruppo nella formazione e nella valorizzazione delle risorse. Notable among these is a triennial research programme, carried out in collaboration with the Materials Engineering Department of the University of Palermo to identify new materials and production techniques for fiberglass components and to implement research results for combining various materials. Over the last year an industrial research project has been launched with the Engineering Department of the University of Palermo and CIRMAC (the Inter-departmental Centre for Research in Composite Materials), investigating the application of new technologies to yacht building. In late 2006 Aicon also initiated a Masters in Interior Naval Design entitled Yacht Mind with the Architecture Department of the University of Reggio Calabria. The aim of this project is to educate luxury yacht design specialists, a reflection of the group s on-going commitment to training and resource development.
