Cos è la microfibra? La microfibra è una fibra sintetica sottilissima e resistente composta normalmente da due polimeri, poliestere e poliammide, che uniti insieme formano un filo unico. Il poliestere ha un effetto elettrostatico e quindi cattura e trattiene la polvere mentre la poliammide ha poteri assorbenti che, in combinazione con l acqua, facilita e permette la rimozione dello sporco e lo sgrassamento di qualsiasi tipo di superficie, senza lasciare aloni o macchie. L innovazione di questo filato sta proprio nella sua sottigliezza la quale consente alle fibre di penetrare all interno delle fessure più piccole della superficie agendo in profondità e rimuovendo le particelle anche più piccole di sporco, polvere, pollini e batteri, rendendola così il materiale ideale per l utilizzo in ambito ospedaliero o in luoghi a rischio di contaminazione incrociata batterica. Le fibre utilizzate nelle frange sono molto sottili, pesano infatti meno di 1 grammo per 9.000 mt. di lunghezza con un diametro di meno di 1 denier* e sono 100 volte più sottili di un capello umano. Ogni microfibra inoltre ha dei bordi spigolosi, a forma di cuneo, che creano una sorta di labirinto riuscendo a raccogliere la polvere con un azione microabrasiva che imprigiona lo sporco fino all ultimo granello, sgretolandolo in minutissime particelle che vengono trattenute dalla fibra stessa. Le dimensioni dei pori sono piccolissime (pochi millesimi di millimetro) per cui le gocce lasciate sulla superficie sono minuscole e di rapida evaporazione, e l area trattata si asciuga velocemente. La microfibra può trattenere fino a 7 volte il suo peso in soluzione e può essere utilizzata per lavare, asciugare o lucidare ogni superficie con risultati eccellenti. * Denier: è un'unità di misura per la densità lineare di massa di fibre. Microfiber is a very fine and strong synthetic fiber usually composed of two polymers - polyester and polyamide - joined together in a single thread. Polyester has an electrostatic effect that captures and retains dust, while polyamide has an absorptive power that, when combined with water, facilitates and allows the removal of dirt and the degreasing of any type of surface without leaving marks or stains. The innovation of this thread is really in the fact that it is extremely fine - a characteristic that allows the fibers to penetrate the smallest of cracks in surfaces, resulting in an in-depth action and removing even smaller particles of dirt, dust, pollen and bacteria, making it the ideal material to be used in the healthcare sector or in areas with a bacterial cross contamination risk. The fibers used in the mops are extremely fine - in fact, they weigh less than 1 gram per 9.000 m. of length, have a diameter of less than 1 denier* and are 100 times finer than a human hair. Furthermore, each microfiber has some angular, wedge-shaped edges that create a sort of labyrinth enabling it to collect dust with a micro-abrasive action, which traps the dirt right up to the last speck, breaking it down into very minute particles that are retained inside the fibers itself. The dimensions of the pores are very small (a few thousandths of a millimeter), hence the drops left on surfaces are minuscule and evaporate rapidly and the treated area dries very quickly. Microfiber holds 7 times its weight in liquid and it can be used for clean, dry and polish every surfaces with excellent results. * Denier is a unit of measure for the linear mass density of fibers. Molto soffice; grazie alle sue strisce pulisce meglio e con maggiore autonomia. Può essere usata su tutte le superfici, umida e bagnata (lavaggio) ma anche asciutta (spolveratura). White color with strips, short pile. The latest introduced microfiber in our range. Very soft, thanks to its strips it cleans better with a longer autonomy. Usata in particolar modo nel sistema con mop pre impregnati, cattura e trattiene più sporco grazie alla sua struttura ad anello chiuso. Può essere utilizzata su tutte le superfici, umida e bagnata (solo lavaggio). White color looped end yarn. Used especially in the pre-treat mop system, it captures (and retains) more dirt because of its looped-end structure. It could be used on all surfaces, damp or wet (washing only). Gialla pelo rasato. Molto soffice. Questa microfibra può essere usata principalmente su superfici dure per operazioni di spolveratura poiché si carica elettrostaticamente magnetizzando la polvere.
