2 A DEEP EXPERIENCE IN PROFESSIONAL REFRIGERATION AND SUPERIOR ITALIAN DESIGN Desmon S.p.A è stata fondata dalla famiglia De Santis nel 1994, come azienda per la commercializzazione di attrezzature per il catering. Nel 1998, Desmon rileva un marchio storico della refrigerazione professionale avviando la produzione di frigoriferi professionali a marchio proprio. In pochi anni Desmon diventa un punto di riferimento europeo nella produzione di attrezzature refrigerate per il catering. Il 100% delle attrezzature refrigerate prodotte da Desmon vengono realizzate nei due opifici di circa mq interamente coperti siti in Nusco (AV). L interessamento ai mercati internazionali è sempre stato un argomento vivo negli obiettivi della Desmon tanto da realizzare investimenti diretti per la costruzione di nuovi siti produttivi e partecipazione societarie in attivita gia operanti. Altri stabilimenti di produzione sono situati in India e Cina, soprattutto per soddisfare le esigenze dei mercati locali. Desmon è presente in Europa con tre centri di distribuzione diretta in Francia, UK e Germania. Fa parte del Gruppo anche Smartfreeze, azienda molto attiva nel campo dell elettronica. Desmon S.p.A was founded in 1994 by the family De Santis as a food equipment trading company. In 1998 the company has taken over a local manufacturing company and started production of refrigeration equipment. After a few successful years the company became one of the leaders in the European market of professional refrigeration. The main production facilities with office, laboratories and warehouse are located in Nusco, a town at the center-south of Italy, 98km from Naples port. The production of professional refrigeration equipment is concentrated in the main factories in Italy. Other factories are situated in India and China where products intended for local markets are manufactured. Besides production facilities Desmon group includes three distribution centers in France, UK and Germany. The research-and-development company Smartfreeze is also a part of Desmon. The quality of our products is based upon continuous technological innovation and long experience in production of professional refrigeration. All models are designed and manufactured in accordance with ISO9001:2008 standard and CE safety regulations. Desmon factories in Italy are certified by ISO14001:2004 2

3 ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY REFRIGERATION Risparmio Energetico e Zero Emissioni Energy Saving & Low Emission Il rispetto per l ambiente è da sempre nel DNA del Gruppo Desmon. Questa vocazione trova conferma in decenni di continuo impegno nella ricerca di processi produttivi efficienti nel rispetto dell ambiente. La Desmon è da sempre attenta a ciascuna fase del ciclo di vita dei propri prodotti, dalla progettazione allo smaltimento, con l obiettivo di ridurre al minimo l impatto ambientale e di incrementare i benefici per il Cliente (minori costi energetici). A prova dell impegno costante, Desmon ha ottenuto la certificazione ISO La salvaguardia dell ambiente è talmente sentito in Desmon che coinvolge ogni singola attività aziendale e tutte le varie fasi del ciclo vitale del prodotto. Desmon è tra le prime aziende al mondo ad utilizzare la schiuma al ciclopentano per l isolamento termico dei propri prodotti, un gas che non danneggia l ozono e non produce effetto serra. Il ciclopentano sostituisce le schiume poliuretaniche basate su HCFC e CFC, estremamente nocive per l ambiente. Desmon è costantemente alla ricerca di nuove soluzioni per creare prodotti che abbiano il minimo impatto ambientale. Tra queste soluzioni Desmon ha sviluppato unità di refrigerazione che utilizzano un gas naturale R290 (propano). I frigoriferi Professionali Desmon garantiscono elevate prestazioni anche in condizioni di lavoro intensivo, consentendo la riduzione sia dell impatto ambientale che del consumo di energia elettrica. I frigoriferi professionali Desmon utilizzano mediamente il 40% di energia in meno rispetto ad un frigorifero standard, risparmiando fino a 400 Euro all anno. È possibile ottenere questo notevole risparmio grazie allo spessore del materiale di isolamento, ai compressori altamente efficienti, all uso della tecnologia LED per le luci interne ed ai nuovi controllori Vopos e Vopos Pro. (pag. 6) Il minor consumo di energia, oggi, è uno dei fattori chiave per il rispetto dell ambiente, ad esempio 1 Kw/h risparmiato, grazie ai sistemi innovativi montanti a bordo dei nostri prodotti, non solo si traduce in un risparmio economico ma anche in 580gr di CO 2 non emessi in atmosfera. In generale, le emissioni di CO 2 dei prodotti Desmon sono del 41% in meno rispetto ai prodotti reperibili sul mercato. Grazie al basso consumo di energia il nostro frigorifero produce una media di 1.36kg di CO 2 al giorno invece di 2.90kg dei nostri concorrenti. In un anno di utilizzo, ogni due frigoriferi Desmon agevolano il lavoro di sintesi di CO 2 di 1 albero. HCFCs & CFCs Free Respect for the environment is in DNA of Desmon and confirmed by decades of continious improvement and implementation of environmentally efficient production processes. Desmon is always careful on every single step of a product life cycle, from design to disposal, having in mind an intention to reduce an impact on environment and create benefits for customers from decreasing energy costs. Desmon has obtained ISO certificate for a commitment to respect an environment on every stage of business activity. Desmon is one of manufacturer of commercial refrigeration in the world using cyclopentane. Desmon products have a Cyclopentane thermoinsulation which does not damage an ozone layer and does not make a greenhouse effect. Cyclopentane replaces polyurethane foams based on HCFCs and CFCs which destroy an ozone layer and generate the greenhouse effect. Desmon is constantly searching for new solutions to create products with a minimum negative impact on environment. Among those solutions Desmon develops a refrigeration units which use a natural gas R290 (propane). Desmon refrigeration equipment range is heavy-duty and guarantees a high performance even in intensive work conditions, reducing environmental impact and energy consumption, up to 40%. It is possible to save up to 400 euro in 1 year of operations compared to other classic refrigerators. For standard range of refrigerators such features as insulation thickness, monoblock cooling units, LED lighting, new controller VOPOS, etc. allows to guarantee an optimal performance and respect to environment. (page 7) Energy is one of key factors because, for example, one Kw/h saved thanks to our innovative features means not only money savings but aslo 580gr of CO 2 not issued to amosphere. In general, CO 2 emissions of Desmon products are 41% less than other products available at the market. Due to low power consumption our refrigerator produces an average of 1.36kg of CO 2 per day instead of 2.90kg of our competitors. In 1 year period every two Desmon refrigerators will free a CO 2 processing job of one tree. 14 general sales conditions 1. Orders All orders are accepted after our APPROVAL and are subjected TO the following general sales conditions, fully accepted by the buyer. 2. Forwarding The delivery DATES are nonbinding and can be changed by the seller, for external or internal causes. Eventual delay will not authorise the CUSTOMER TO claim, pretend COMPENSATION or for rescission and MODIFICATION of the contract, except if comprised in ART c.c. The TRANSPORT of the goods is AT CUSTOMER risk, even if delivered directly TO the user and they aren t assured without special wish of the CUSTOMER. The delivery is considered completed with the loading of the goods, whether carried out by the CUSTOMER or an assigned carrier; the seller declines any responsibility for eventual differences, deformity or damages INDIVIDUATED after handing over the goods AT the FACTORy. Any complaint RELATIVE TO quantity, defects or any other reason, must be ANNOTATED on the carriage note, OTHERWISE any claims will be rejected. The goods will be PACKED normally, special PACKING on request will be charged. 3. Prices The prices refer TO the LATEST FACTORy pricelist, except for special agreements, and may be changed AT any time.for the items not included in the price list and TO be produce on request (following user s DETAILED DRAWINGS and technical description), we ll FORMULATE prices and delivery time in function of the quantity required. Our prices are quoted ex works our factories. 4. Payment All PAyments must be effected AT the seller s place of business. All expenses due TO emission and returns of bank receipts will be AT buyer s charge. The terms of PAyment are ALWAys binding. In case of delayed PAyment a RATE of 7 per cent interest will be surcharged, plus the actual ECB interest RATE or the respective central banks in case of Non-Euro countries. The seller s right TO COMPENSATION for bank charges, ADMINISTRATIVE or legal costs and eventual third PARTy costs remains UNTOUCHED. In case of non-fulfilment the seller may take any APPROPRIATE measure to obtain complete PAyment, cancelling the PAyment terms, as for the effects of ART c.c. and annulling the contract, STOPping its prosecution and delivery of goods in order, also RELATING TO other contracts, without any buyer s compensation for the cancelled delivery. 5. Guarantee Our guarantee has a 24 months VALIDITy from delivery ex works and covers the mere REPLACEMENT of PARTS, electric PARTS not included, and affecting only constructing FAULTS, as described in the letter of guarantee. All guaranteed PARTS will be sent by carriage FORWARD. They will be billed regularly. After receiving the defective parts a credit note will be made out. 6. Modifications of technical characteristics Dimensions and all technical DATA in CATALOGUES, offers, order CONFIRMATIONS and in this price list are purely indicative. They are subjected TO modification without notice, improving quality and functionality. 7. Reserve of proprietary rights The seller preserves all proprietary rights pending payment in full. 8. Venue jurisdiction Court of Avellino, Italy. These sales conditions annul all the precedent ones without any exception, no MODIFICATION will be accepted without any written confirmation by the seller. 14
