PET Produzione oraria... kg/h 650 X MAX is a multi-bed dryer with constant performance. With this concept it is possible to develop systems up to m 3 /h with a remarkable consumptions control. Each unit includes a turbocharger, a zeolite tower and a dew point control device. A local PLC with a colour touch view display guarantees a simple and intuitive interface. Touch view interface. 9 X MAX Constant performance Costanza di rendimento The X MAX units can be assembled with a minimum of 3 units and a maximum of 10 units. The regeneration of each unit is realized through rotation: while one unit is in regeneration, the other units are in process simultaneously. The airflow is variable and adjusts automatically according to the process requirements, avoiding thermal stress on the polymer and changes in viscosity. 11 DEW POINT CONCEPT Importance of Dew point Importanza del Dew point Someone says that the quality of the dew point is not a necessity for the drying. In any case X MAX works with a constant value of 65 C. The graph below shows the X MAX final moisture value measured in ppm with a 65 C Dew point and a Honeycomb dryer with a 35 C dew point considering PET drying. In ogni caso X MAX lavora con un valore costante di 65 C. 13 FLOWMATIK Adaptive airflow management Gestione automatica del flusso d aria FLOWMATIK is an automatic system for process air distribution in multimaterial applications. The air flow is managed according to the real throughput in a completely automatic way. Flowmatik is a dynamical device and manages also the process variables. Combined with X MAX and X DRYER, Flowmatik is interfaced with the drying system and calculates the necessary airflow thanks to the air flow meter in order to synchronize the dryer capacity with the hoppers requests. In this way a close loop system is achieved, creating a perfect balance. Flowmatik achieves incredible energy savings in multimaterial applications. FLOWMATIK è un sistema automatico per la ripartizione dell aria tecnologica nelle applicazioni multimateriale. Il flusso di aria viene gestito in funzione della produzione reale, in modo completamente automatico. Flowmatik è un dispositivo dinamico e gestisce anche le variabili di processo. Nelle applicazioni con X MAX e X DRYER, Flowmatik si interfaccia anche con il dryer e, grazie ai misuratori di portata, totalizza l airflow necessario per sincronizzare la capacità del dryer alla richiesta delle tramogge. Si ottiene, in questo modo, un sistema close loop che realizza un equilibrio perfetto. They all need to be kept within a precise range in order to obtain the sought final result In terms of final moisture. FINAL MOISTURE ppm 30 Air is the transport vehicle for ENERGY. By reducing the specific air quantity, the quantity of conveyed energy decreases; a longer time will be required to obtain a good drying. A deep evaluation is necessary to dimension these systems while aiming at a low energy consumption, since a long exposition to heat increases the viscosity of polymers up to 10-12%. Considering a 5-6 kw/h reduction in drying consumption, a reduction in the moulding machine cycle time and an increase in the pressure of the oil circuit up to 50 bar may occur. Lastly, considering an apparent 5 kw saving in the drying, we risk to pay 15 kw more in the moulding machine. The answer is Ʃureka. The top in energy efficiency. Nell estrazione dell umidità dai polimeri, i fattori variabili sono ben sei. Tutti questi devono essere gestiti entro un preciso range per ottenere il risultato finale desiderato come umidità finale. FINAL MOISTURE ppm L aria è il veicolo di trasporto dell ENERGIA. Riducendo la quantità di aria specifica si riduce la quantità di energia trasportata; sarà quindi necessario un maggior tempo per ottenere una buona essiccazione. Risulta quindi necessaria un attenta valutazione nel dimensionare questi sistemi alla ricerca di un basso consumo di energia, poiché l esposizione prolungata del polimero al calore ne aumenta la viscosità fino al 10-12%. A fronte di una riduzione di 5-6 kw/h dei consumi del Dryer nell essiccazione, potremmo trovarci con una riduzione del tempo ciclo nella pressa ed un aumento della pressione sul circuito olio fino a 50 bar. In conclusione, a fronte di un risparmio apparente di 5 kw nel Dryer, rischiamo di pagarne 15 in più nella pressa. La risposta è Ʃureka. Il massimo dell efficienza energetica.
