L AGENDA DIGITALE PER L EUROPA egovernment is about using the tools and systems made possible by Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) to provide better public services to citizens and businesses If egovernment services are to provide significant added value to citizens and business, then it is crucial that different government bodies, both within a country and in different EU Member States, are able to share information efficiently and co-operate in serving citizens. L ACTION PLAN PER l egovernment to support the transition to a new generation of open, flexible and seamless egovernment services at local, regional, national and EU levels. The Commission's main mission is to optimise the conditions, for the development of cross-border egovernment services provided to citizens and businesses. The combination of all these efforts should lead to an increase of the take-up of egovernment services, indeed by 2015 50% of citizens should use egovernment while the target envisaged for businesses is 80% by 2015

NET EUCEN A new generation of open, flexible and collaborative egovernment services is needed to empower European citizens and businesses, to improve their mobility within the internal market of the 21st century and to ensure that public services can serve an economy which relies on the networks of the future. The European Commission aims to support with its egovernment Action Plan 2011 2015 the provision of a new generation of egovernment services for businesses and citizens.
ADD ME! ADD ME! is a pan European network bringing together into a common framework and learning environment the institutional organizations that support groups in becoming major beneficiaries of public services to which they are entitled.
CEMSDI the empowerment of Public Officers and their administrations is vital in order to ensure the implementation of digital inclusion policies, which target the socially disadvantaged, modernise the organisations of public administration and efficiently deliver egovernment and other local services.
