-1- SCHEDA DI PRESENTAZIONE Nome e cognome / Nome del gruppo Alessandra Meacci Città Abano Terme Provincia Padova Biografia Mi sono laureata in Architettura a Venezia nel 2005, e dal febbraio 2006 collaboro come libera professionista con lo studio Guerrarchitetti a Montegrotto Terme, occupandomi di progettazione architettonica e di interior design. Nel 2013 ho partecipato al SaloneSatellite e ho avviato con YouGrow la produzione del sistema decorativo fallingleaves. L avventura nel design nasce per caso qualche anno fa, con la casuale possibilità di sperimentare la lavorazione del taglio laser su lamiera ; comincio ad indagare la possibilità di creare elementi tridimensionali dal semplice foglio di lamiera. Un po per gioco nascono allora dei progetti in stile origami, che indagano l idea di disegnare il muro e lo spazio non solo con l elemento decorativo in se stesso, ma soprattutto con i riflessi e le ombre che questo proietta quando viene illuminato.

Sono pensati come singoli o come gruppi di più elementi, in cui questi vengono piegati tra loro in maniera che alcune foglie escano dal muro. Alcuni elementi sono in plexiglass ed altri in alluminio ed in ottone: il plexiglass viene piegato a caldo, mentre per quanto riguarda gli elementi in lamiera, vengono preincise delle linee di piegatura, in modo che chi le applica possa disegnare a suo piacimento l ombra sulla sua parete. L idea è quella di creare degli elementi tridimensionali che proiettino un gioco di ombre e di riflessi sulla parete, disegnando il muro ed il soffitto con una trama di chiaroscuri; proprio come l ombra di un albero investito dalla luce del sole.
Nome prodotto 2 F ( A ) G L I E Dimensioni di massima 50x50cm Peso indicativo 1 kg Descrizione tecnica E un foglio di lamiera che viene tagliato secondo il disegno creando una texture di vuoti e pieni e definendo delle linee di piegatura. Come un foglio, può facilmente essere trasportata. Piegando, il foglio si trasforma in un volume; viene fissato con dei tasselli a muro ed inserita la lampada. Il gioco è quello del chiaro-scuro di giorno e, alla sera, quando si accende la lampada, della trama delle ombre proiettate.

In 2013 I was at SaloneSatellite ; then I product with YouGrow the decorative elements "fallingleaves." I started my adventure in Design a few years ago with the unexpected opportunity to try out the laser cutting technology on the metal sheet; I began to search the way to create tridimensional elements from the simple metal sheet. Then, a little for fun, I developed some origami style projects, investigating the idea of drawing the wall and the space not only with the decorative element itself, but, above all, with the reflections and the shadows it generates when it s lighted.
