HSF PROCESS
HSF (High Speed Fimer) HIGH SPEED FIMER The development of Fimer HSF innovative process represent a revolution particularly on the welding process of low (and high) alloy steels as well as different kind of stainless steels starting from about 5 mm base material's thickness. Application field is extended from manual to automatic welding. HSF technology is available into all FIMER three-phase inverter generators like TM and KING series which are endowed with a display; plus the new monophase Queen 226 Evo Syn. only for mild steel 0.8 mm. CUSTOMER REQUIREMENTS/NEEDS 1. Increasing production 2. Saving costs 3. Fast return on investment OUR SOLUTION HSF Process (High Speed Fimer), derived from traditional spray arc, thanks to the high performances ensured by our technology, is possible obtain an arc with high pressure, stable and concentrated. LE ESIGENZE DEL CLIENTE 1. Aumentare la produzione 2. Risparmio 3.
HSF (High Speed Fimer) ADVANTAGES VANTAGGI Main advantages comparing with the MIG-MAG spray arc are the following: 1. Incresed welding speed 2. Deeper penetration 3. Low thermal input on workpiece 4. More arc stability 5. Spatter free 6. Less filler material and gas consumption 7. Reduction of the angle groove preparations 8. Saving costs on pre/post work 9. Avoiding undercut 10. Stick-out up to 30 mm Principali vantaggi rispetto al procedimento MIG-MAG Spray Arc: 1. Incremento della velocità di saldatura 2. Maggior penetrazione 3. Diminuzione dell'apporto termico 4. Stick-out fino a 30 mm DIFFERENCES BETWEEN SPRAY ARC AND HSF STANDARD MIG MAG SPRAY ARC 1. Welding generates few spatters when arc's length is normal, but can be affected by magnetic arc's blow, which is a very common element in electric arc welding. 2. If the arc is shortened, short-circuits could occur due to the low power fusion of the wire, therefore instability of the arc and spatters should be generated. MIG MAG HSF FIMER 1. Lack of spatters, even with an important voltage reduction 2. Arc direction with high stability

Parameters: wire speed 11 m/min V= 28.2 V Welding speed: 410 mm/min DIFFERENZE TRA SPRAY ARC E HSF STANDARD MIG MAG SPRAY ARC 1.
HSF (High Speed Fimer) WHY BETTER PENETRATION MEANS COSTS SAVING? STANDARD MIG MAG SPRAY ARC 1. Possible development of marginal undercuts. 2. Catch of root at the top, it's difficult in case of narrow and thin grooves. PERCHÈ UNA MIGLIORE PENETRAZIONE SIGNIFICA UN RISPARMIO DI COSTI? STANDARD MIG MAG SPRAY ARC 1. Possibile sviluppo di incisioni marginali. 2.
