Michele AINIS Professore ordinario presso l Università degli Studi Roma Tre Full Professor at Roma Tre University Costituzionalista, Professore ordinario di Diritto pubblico, scrittore ed editorialista, Michele Ainis è da molti anni una figura di grande spicco del dibattito pubblico italiano. Molti i premi ricevuti a sancire l autorevolezza della sua carriera fra i quali il Premio Borsellino. Michele Ainis è tra i più noti costituzionalisti italiani. Si laurea in Giurisprudenza nel 1978 presso l Università di Messina, sotto la guida dell illustre costituzionalista Temistocle Martines. È nella stessa città che diventerà ricercatore universitario, per poi continuare all Università La Sapienza di Roma, all Università di Teramo e infine all Università degli Studi Roma Tre, dove è Professore ordinario di Istituzioni di diritto pubblico. La sua produzione scientifica comprende oltre un centinaio di saggi e una ventina di libri. Scrive come editorialista per il Corriere della Sera e su L Espresso. Molti i riconoscimenti avuti nel corso della sua carriera fra i quali un Premio alla cultura della Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri, il Premio Tosato, il Premio Giurista dell Anno conferito dall European Law Students Association ed il Premio Borsellino. Constitutionalist, Full Professor of Public Law, writer and columnist, Michele Ainis has been a prominent figure of the Italian public debate for many years. The many awards he received - including the Borsellino Award - have proven the authority of his career. Michele Ainis is one of the most renowned Italian constitutionalists. He graduated in Law in 1978 at the University of Messina, under the supervision of the illustrious constitutionalist Temistocle Martines. In the same city he became researcher and continued his studies at the University of Rome La Sapienza, the University of Teramo, and finally at the University Roma Tre, where he has become Full Professor of Public Law Institutions. His scientific production includes about one hundred essays and twenty books. He writes as columnist for Corriere della Sera and L Espresso. He received many awards during his career, among them a Culture Prize of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the Tosato Award, the Jurist of the Year Award conferred by the European Law Students Association, and the Borsellino Award. Laura Boldrini è la terza donna nella storia della Repubblica Italiana ad essere stata eletta Presidente della Camera dei deputati. Laura Boldrini nasce a Macerata, ma la sua carriera la vedrà fortemente impegnata in molti luoghi di crisi, tra cui Ex-Jugoslavia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Iran, Sudan, Caucaso, Angola e Ruanda. Laureata in Giurisprudenza presso l Università La Sapienza di Roma nel 1985, nel 1989 comincia il suo lavoro presso la FAO. Massimo BORDIGNON Professore ordinario presso l Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore Full Professor at the Catholic University of Milan Massimo Bordignon partecipa da anni al dibattito pubblico nazionale sull economia attraverso libri e articoli su quotidiani e riviste specializzate. Il suo interesse di ricerca si concentra sull economia pubblica e sulla politica economica, in particolar modo sui temi del fisco e della tassazione sulle aziende. Massimo Bordignon si è laureato in Filosofia all Università di Firenze, si è poi trasferito nel Regno Unito dove ha conseguito un M.A. alla University of Essex e un PhD alla University of Warwick in Economia. Guy DINMORE Giornalista del Financial Times Journalist at the Financial Times Dopo sedici anni passati a raccontare per Reuters i principali accadimenti da ogni parte del mondo, Dinmore è oggi corrispondente da Roma del Financial Times, uno dei più autorevoli quotidiani al mondo. Per il suo lavoro di corrispondente durante la guerra del Kosovo ha ricevuto l importantissimo Foreign Press Freedom Award del National Press Club. Guy Dinmore è il corrispondente da Roma di uno dei più autorevoli quotidiani economico-finanziari del mondo, il Financial Times. La sua collaborazione con la prestigiosa testata inizia nel 1997 a Belgrado, dove Dinmore ha raccontato la guerra del Kosovo e la campagna militare NATO fino al 1999, quando fu espulso da Belgrado. Guy Dinmore is the Rome correspondent of one of the most renowned financial newspapers in the world, the Financial Times. His collaboration with the prestigious newspaper started in 1997 in Belgrade, where he covered the Kosovo war and the NATO military campaign until 1999, when he was expelled from Belgrade. Emanuele FERRAGINA Lecturer presso l Università di Oxford Lecturer at the University of Oxford Lecturer presso la Oxford University, è tra i fondatori del think tank Fonderia Oxford. Il suo ultimo libro Chi troppo chi niente (BUR-Rizzoli, 2013) mette in evidenza come le disuguaglianze riducano l efficienza e la coesione sociale nel nostro Paese. Nato nel 1983, insegna presso la Oxford University. Nel 2004 consegue una doppia Laurea in Scienze Politiche presso la Sciences Po di Bordeaux e l Università di Torino. La sua formazione continua presso l Università di Torino dove nel 2006 consegue la Laurea Specialistica in Politica Internazionale e, nel 2007, una doppia Laurea Specialistica in economia presso la ESCP Paris e la London City University, per poi completare la propria formazione ad Oxford dove consegue un PhD in Politiche Sociali Comparate. Ha collaborato come ricercatore nel Dipartimento di Politiche Sociali dell Università di Oxford e come Lecturer sempre nello stesso Dipartimento. Ha pubblicato molti lavori accademici, report e articoli per quotidiani di rilevanza nazionale. Tra i Fondatori del think tank di riflessione politica Fonderia Oxford, partecipa attivamente al dibattito politico nazionale attraverso interventi in programmi televisivi, in conferenze, e curando un proprio blog su Il Fatto Quotidiano. In 2004 he graduated with a double degree in Political Science from the University of Turin and Sciences Po Bordeaux. He continued his education at the University of Turin obtaining a MA in International Politics in 2006, a double MSc in Economics from ESCP in Paris and London City University, and finally a PhD in Comparative Social Policy from Oxford University. Over the years he has held many academic positions, such as Researcher at the Institute of Social Policy at the University of Oxford and Lecturer at the same institute. He has published many important academic papers, reports and articles for the Italian press. One of the founders of the political reflection think tank Fonderia Oxford, he plays an active role in Italian political debate participating in Italian TV shows and conferences, and writing a blog for Il Fatto Quotidiano. In his latest book Chi troppo chi niente he highlights how inequalities reduce efficiency and social cohesion in Italy, thus depressing the economy and exacerbating social conflict. 8

Nel 2000 ha fondato Stockho portandolo ad una crescita interna ed esterna di 3 milioni di euro nel 2006. Nel 2007, con 4 milioni di euro di finanziamento, ha lanciato Baobaz, fondendo 3 webagencies e lanciando una joint-commerce al fine di fornire soluzioni di full outsourcing ecommerce per i brand. Oggi Baobaz gestisce per i suoi clienti 60 milioni di euro di ricavi online ed ha generato 20 milioni di euro di fatturato nel 2012. Enrico Giovannini è nato a Roma nel 1957. Laureato in Economia all Università La Sapienza, è Professore di Statistica economica presso l Università degli Studi di Roma Tor Vergata. Ex Presidente dell Istat (2009-2013), dal 2001 al 2009 è stato Chief Statistician e Director of the Statistics Directorate dell OC- SE, portando notevoli innovazioni al suo interno. Nel 2004 ha organizzato il primo Forum mondiale su Statistica, Conoscenza e Politica condotto dall OCSE in collaborazione con la Commissione Europea, la Banca Mondiale e le Nazioni Unite. Pietro GRASSO Presidente del Senato della Repubblica President of the Senate of the Italian Republic Pietro Grasso viene nominato Presidente del Senato della Repubblica dopo un illustre carriera nella magistratura. La sua intera vita di magistrato è stata dedicata alla lotta alla mafia fino a diventare uno dei massimi esperti internazionali in materia. Pietro Grasso inizia la sua carriera presso la Pretura di Barrafranca per poi essere trasferito alla Procura di Palermo. Nel 1985 ha svolto le funzioni di giudice a latere nel maxiprocesso contro la mafia e redatto la monumentale sentenza con cui sono stati condannati circa 360 imputati, per un totale di 2665 anni di carcere, senza tenere in conto gli ergastoli. Nominato consulente della Commissione parlamentare Antimafia nel 1989, nel 1991 è stato chiamato dal Giudice Falcone al Ministero della Giustizia ove è stato addetto al coordinamento delle attività riguardanti la Direzione Generale degli Affari Penali. Dopo la Strage di Capaci ha sostituito Falcone nella Commissione Centrale per i programmi di protezione nei confronti di testimoni e collaboratori di giustizia. Dal gennaio 1993 ha fatto parte della Procura Nazionale Antimafia. Nel 1999 è stato chiamato a dirigere la Procura della Repubblica di Palermo. Dal 2005 come Procuratore Nazionale Antimafia ha dato impulso e coordinato le più importanti indagini nei confronti delle organizzazioni mafiose nazionali e straniere. L 8 gennaio 2013 ha dato le dimissioni dall ordine giudiziario, per poi candidarsi al Senato per il Partito Democratico. Il 16 marzo 2013 è stato eletto Presidente del Senato della Repubblica. Pietro Grasso was appointed President of the Senate after an illustrious career in the judiciary. His entire life as magistrate was dedicated to the fight against the Mafia that led him to become one of the top international experts in the field. Pietro Grasso started his career at the District Court of Barrafranca and was transferred thereafter to the Public Prosecutor of Palermo. In 1985 he was appointed judge a latere in the Maxi Trial against the Mafia and wrote the monumental verdict by which approximately 360 defendants were sentenced to a total of 2,665 years in prison, let alone the life sentences. He was appointed Advisor to the Parliamentary Anti-Mafia Commission in 1989, in 1991 he was called by Judge Falcone at the Ministry of Justice where he was in charge of the coordination of activities relating to the General Directorate of Criminal Affairs. After the Massacre of Capaci he replaced Falcone at the Central Commission for protection programs of witnesses and collaborators of justice. Since January 1993 he has been part of the National Anti-Mafia Prosecutor Office. In 1999 he led the Prosecutor Office of Palermo as Chief Prosecutor. As from October 2005 he has been National Anti-Mafia Prosecutor and gave momentum to the most important investigations against domestic and foreign organized crime. On January 8 th he resigned from the judiciary and was elected Senator of the Republic for the Democratic Party. On March 16 th 2013 he was elected President of the Senate. 15
Cécile KYENGE KASHETU Ministro per l Integrazione Minister of Integration Da sempre impegnata nella lotta per la piena integrazione degli immigrati e per l affermazione dei loro diritti di cittadinanza, Cécile Kyenge è oggi Ministro per l Integrazione della Repubblica italiana. Nata nella Repubblica Democratica del Congo nel 1964, Cécile Kyenge Kashetu è cittadina Italiana, coniugata con due figlie. Si laurea in medicina a Roma presso l Università Cattolica per poi specializzarsi in oculistica all Università di Modena. Prima di assumere l incarico di Ministro svolgeva la professione di medico. Il 25 Febbraio 2013 viene eletta alla Camera dei deputati nella XVII legislatura. Il 28 Aprile 2013 è stata nominata Ministro per l Integrazione dopo essere stata responsabile delle politiche dell immigrazione del Partito Democratico in Emilia Romagna e membro del Forum Nazionale PD Immigrazione. Tra le sue battaglie da attivista la libera circolazione, una nuova legge sulla cittadinanza e l abrogazione della Bossi-Fini. Dal settembre 2010 è portavoce nazionale della rete Primo Marzo per cui si occupa di promuovere i diritti dei migranti e i diritti umani. Ha promosso e coordinato il progetto AFIA per la formazione di medici specialisti in Congo in collaborazione con l Università di Lubumbashi. Tramite il progetto Diaspora Africana, di cui è stata coordinatrice per il Nord Italia, si è impegnata nella promozione della piena cittadinanza degli immigrati. Nel 2010 è stata scelta come testimonial nella campagna di sensibilizzazione sull immigrazione realizzata dall Ufficio di Roma dell Organizzazione Internazionale per le Migrazioni (OIM). Always on the forefront in the struggle for the full integration of immigrants and the recognition of their citizenship rights, Cécile Kyenge Kashetu is now Minister of Integration of the Italian Republic. Born in the Democratic Republic of Congo in 1964, Cécile Kyenge Kashetu is an Italian citizen, she is married and has two daughters. She graduated in Medicine in Rome at the Catholic University and then specialized in ophthalmology at the University of Modena. Before taking office of Minister, she worked as a doctor. On 25 th February 2013 she was elected to the Chamber of deputies in the XVII legislature. On 28 th April 2013 she was appointed Minister of Integration after having been in charge of immigration policies for the Democratic Party in Emilia Romagna and member of the PD National Forum for Immigration. As an activist the struggle for the free movement, a new law on citizenship and the repeal of the Bossi-Fini law are worth mentioning. Since September 2010, she has become the national spokesperson for the Primo Marzo network for which she has worked to promote the rights of migrants and human rights. In collaboration with the University of Lubumbashi she has promoted and coordinated the AFIA project for the training of medical specialists in Congo. She was coordinator of the project African Diaspora for Northern Italy in order to promote the full citizenship for immigrants. Dario Laruffa has been following major political and economic international events since the 1987 G7 held in Venice. He graduated in Sociology, with a thesis on Political Economy. His career as a journalist began in 1976 at a so-called free radio station in Rome. He then turned to the print media, and in 1980 won a public competition that enabled him to join Rai. In 1982 he was in charge of the economic editorial office of Gr1 radio news. In 1994 he started working for Tg2 television news, which he began presenting one year later. As a special correspondent, in 2003 he became anchorman of the 8:30 evening newscast. He also anchored the Rai TV show Mattina In Famiglia in 2004-2005. From 1991 to 1992 he taught RadioJournalism at the LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome, as well as Economic Journalism at the School of Perugia.
