LINEA RESISTENZE PER SCALDABAGNI La resistenza è un elemento riscaldante che trasforma l energia elettrica in calore. Esistono diversi tipi di resistenze che, pur avendo lo stesso scopo, sono costruite con diverse tecnologie: Thermowatt è specializzata nella produzione di quelle corazzate. Thermowatt produce resistenze monofasi e trifasi, con elementi in rame (puro al 99,9%), in acciaio inossidabile e con leghe speciali di nichel e cromo. La struttura dei componenti selezionati assicura ottime qualità tecniche, elettro-meccaniche ed anti-corrosive. Infine, un esatta conoscenza dei fenomeni di corrosione in acqua dura e/o clorurata è elemento essenziale per una corretta progettazione delle resistenze elettriche immerse. Thermowatt ha acquisito in questo campo una profonda esperienza che le consente di scegliere i materiali di guaina più idonei in relazione al tipo di acqua ed alle prestazioni richieste. Le umidità relative, a volte elevate, che caratterizzano gli ambienti dove questi elementi funzionano, impongono l uso di sistemi di sigillatura ermetica atti a garantire nel tempo ottimi valori di isolamento. 16

There are several types of resistance which have the same use but are built up with different technologies Thermowatt is specialised in producing immersion heaters. Thermowatt produces mono-phase and three-phase heating elements in copper (99,9%), stainless steel and special alloys of chrome and nickel steel. The structure of the selected components ensures high technical, electromechanical and anticorrosive qualities. Furthermore, a good knowledge of corrosive phenomena in hard and/or chloride water is essential to properly design immersion heaters. Thermowatt has achieved a long experience in the field and it is able to choose the most suitable sheath material according to the type of water and requested performances. Related humidities, sometimes very high, that characterise the speces where those elements work, impose to use hermetic sealing systems that guarantee high isolation levels over the time. 17
