Quell atmosfera al San Pietro di Positano si conserva gelosamente e allo stesso tempo è in continua evoluzione per offrire un esperienza di lusso ultra contemporaneo. Scolpito nella roccia che si affaccia sul mare e su Praiano, l hotel mantiene lo stesso mix di lusso discreto e ricchezza di dettagli, di quando è stato fondato negli anni 70 da Carlino Cinque, albergatore e viveur che ha portato in Costiera il bel mondo dai Rockefeller a Peter O Toole, da François Mitterrand al re di Giordania. La terza generazione della famiglia ha continuato sulle sue orme traghettando la struttura nell hôtellerie del futuro. Come ben dimostrano le camere e suite curate dall interior designer Fausta Gaetani, ma soprattutto la cucina dell albergo, rinnovata l anno scorso su disegno di Andrea Viacava. Scavata in 1.806 metri cubi di solida roccia, un opera avveniristica di 400 mq che ospita la squadra di Alois Vanlangenaeker, chef stellato Michelin da vent anni. Due i ristoranti dell albergo: il Carlino, a picco sul mare, e lo Zass, con i piatti che richiamano l arte contemporanea ma dal sapore autenticamente mediterraneo. Frutta, verdura e aromi, certificati bio, arrivano per l 80% dagli spettacolari giardini terrazzati del San Pietro, che si estendono per la metà dell intera proprietà e forniscono anche i fiori per tutti i bouquet che decorano hall e camere. Altrettanto scenografica è la Spa, immersa nel parco privato, con esclusivi trattamenti svizzeri di La Prairie. That atmosphere of San Pietro di Positano is jealously kept and at the same time in continuous evolution to offer a luxury contemporary experience. Carved in the rock opening onto the sea and Praiano, the hotel has had the same mix of discreet luxury and richness of details ever since it was founded, in the Seventies, by Carlino Cinque, hotelier and viveur able to attract to Costiera the jet set of Rockefeller and Peter O Toole, François Mitterrand and the Jordan king.
