Installazione del Software DVA Network Requisiti del sistema I requisiti di sistema per installazione DVA Network sono: PC con sistema operativo Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista o Windows 7 PC con sistema operativo Microsoft Windows 8 seguire la procedura Disabilitazione della firma digitale del driver e applicazione in Windows 8 prima di procedere con Installazione DVA Network Porta USB disponibile Lettore CD oppure masterizzatore Ulteriori requisiti di sistema possono essere: Accesso a Internet per scaricare aggiornamenti o informazioni aggiuntive del prodotto (l utilizzatore è responsabile dei costi relativi al provider ed all accesso a Internet) Installazione DVA Network Per installare DVA Network: Nota: Prima di iniziare l installazione del software del DVA Network nel computer occorre scollegare tutte le periferiche RDnet ad esso collegate. 1. Introdurre il CD del DVA Network nel lettore CD o nel masterizzatore 2. A seconda della configurazione del sistema Windows è necessario installare la versione a 32bit oppure a 64bit Nel CD sono presenti due cartelle distinte per permettere la corretta installazione. Nel caso di Windows a 32bit: - aprire la cartella dedicata Setup DVA Network 1.0 Win 32bit - lanciare il programma Setup DVA Network 1.0 Win 32bit.exe Nel caso di Windows a 64bit: - aprire la cartella dedicata Setup DVA Network 1.0 Win 64bit - lanciare il programma Setup DVA Network 1.0 Win 64bit.exe Nota: Per poter installare DVA Network nel computer deve essere presente la versione di.net Framework dalla versione 4.0 in avanti. Nel caso non sia installata, nel CD è presente una cartella dedicata dotnet Framework Setup dove all interno è presente il file dotnetfx40_full_x86_x64.exe. Lanciare il programma seguendo la procedura guidata. 3. Il programma viene eseguito e appare la seguente finestra Si procede con l installazione guidata Esempio con versione 64bit

Fare clic su NEXT> per procedere 4. E possibile modificare la cartella ( Folder ) d installazione del software DVA Network o mantenere quella prefissata E possibile inoltre scegliere se il programma sarà utilizzabile da tutti gli utenti ( Everyone ) o solo da quello corrente ( Just me ) che sta effettuando l installazione. Fare clic su NEXT> per procedere 5. Viene richiesta una ulteriore conferma della installazione da parte dell utente. Fare clic su NEXT> se si desidera procedere con l installazione Fare clic su <BACK se si desidera tornare alla passo precedente Fare clic su Cancel se si desidera annullare la procedura

6. Dopo aver selezionato NEXT> attendere che l installazione sia completata Nell attesa è visualizzata una barra che indica lo stato di avanzamento dell installazione Nota: Durante l installazione sullo sfondo appare una finestra MS DOS. Non chiuderla e lasciare che il programma completi l installazione 7. Al termine dell installazione, se tutto è andato a buon fine, apparirà la finestra Installation Complete Selezionare la casella Close per terminare la procedura. 8. Collegare il cavo USB tra il computer e l unità di controllo prima di eseguire il programma.

Disabilitazione della firma digitale del driver e applicazione in Windows 8 Per installare correttamente tutti i driver USB per interfaccia RDnet (esempio Control 8 e Control 2 ) è necessario eseguire la procedura indicata a seguito prima di eseguire il file dvanetwork.exe per permettere al sistema operativo Windows 8 di accettare driver USB diversi sul vostro PC. Seguire la procedura a seguito: 1. Posizionare il mouse sull angolo destro del vostro schermo e selezionare Settings e successivamente Change PC settings 2. Dal pannello di controllo PC Settings scegliere General > Advanced Startup> Restart now. Il sistema verrà riavviato e attendere qualche minuto per visualizzare la finestra del menù di avvio. 3. Verrà richiesto di scegliere una opzione dalla finestra chiamata Choose an Option. Scegliere Troubleshoot.

4. Apparirà il seguente menù. Scegliere Advanced Options 5. Dalla videata Advenced options, scegliere Windows Startup Settings. Successivamente selezionare Restart. 6. Il computer verrà riavviato e la seguente finestra di inizializzazione apparirà. Scegliere Disable Driver signature Enforcement. Da questo menù scegliere 7 oppure F7 dalla tastiera. 7. Windows ripartirà nuovamente ed ora è possibile installare il DVA Network. Ricordarsi di permettere installazione dei drivers da parte di terzi quando viene richiesto durante la procedura.

Riparazione e Disinstallazione del software DVA Network Per ripristinare il funzionamento corretto del software (nel caso di problemi dovuti, ad esempio, a file corrotti) o per disintallarlo eseguire la procedura indicata a seguito: 1. A seconda della configurazione del sistema Windows è lanciare il programma corretto all interno della cartella creata per l installazione: Nel caso di Windows a 32bit, aprire la cartella dedicata Setup DVA Network 1.0 Win 32bit - lanciare il programma Setup DVA Network 1.0 Win 32bit.exe Nel caso di Windows a 64bit, aprire la cartella dedicata Setup DVA Network 1.0 Win 64bit - lanciare il programma Setup DVA Network 1.0 Win 64bit.exe Nota: Se si è mantenuta la cartella prefissata il percorso è C:\Program Files\dB Technologies\DVA Network 2. Verrà mostrata la finestra con 2 opzioni. Scegliere: - Repair DVA Network xx per riparare il software danneggiato - Removable DVA Network xx per disintallarlo Fare clic su Finish per procedere Esempio con versione 64bit 3. Dopo aver selezionato Finish attendere che la dinstallazione sia completata Nell attesa è visualizzata una barra che indica lo stato di avanzamento della dinstallazione

4. Al termine, se tutto è andato a buon fine, apparirà la finestra Installation Complete Selezionare la casella Close per terminare la procedura. Note sul Software DVA Network Il software DVA Network è utilizzabile per la sola configurazione dei sistemi db Technologies DVA Network ed è protetto dalle leggi sul copyright. È fatto divieto di modificare, cambiare, ricercare di risalire al codice sorgente decompilando il software. In nessun caso, db Technologies potrà essere ritenuta responsabile nei confronti dell'utente finale per danni di qualsiasi genere compresi, in senso esemplificativo ma non esaustivo, danni finanziari per mancati utili o per perdita di informazioni commerciali derivanti dall'utilizzo o dall'impossibilità di utilizzo del presente software. Insert DVA Network s CD in CD driver or CD burner 2. According to the Windows system configuration, it is necessary to install a 32bit version or a 64bit version Inside CD are present two different folder to permit the correct installation. With 32bit Windows OS: - open Setup DVA Network 1.0 Win 32bit folder - select Setup DVA Network 1.0 Win 32bit.exe program to stat installation With 64bit Windows OS: - open Setup DVA Network 1.0 Win 64bit folder - select Setup DVA Network 1.0 Win 64bit.exe program to start installation Note: To install DVA Network program, the computer needs.net Framework 4.0 or higher. If the program isn t installed, it is present a dedicated folder dotnet Framework Setup on CD where inside it is present dotnetfx40_full_x86_x64.exe file Start the program following the guided procedure. 3. Program starts and appears this windows Proceed with the guided procedure Click NEXT> button to proceed Example with 64bit version

It is possible to change the installation directory ( folder ) of the DVA Network software or keep the default path It is possible to choose if the program can be used by Everyone or only by user who do the installation Just me. Click NEXT> button to proceed 5. Then it is required a further installation confirmation to user. Click NEXT> if you desire to proceed with the installation Click <BACK if you desire to come back to the previous windows Click Cancel if you desire to cancel the installation procedure

6. After the selection, please wait the installation to be complete. While waiting, the installation progress bar is shown. Note: During the installation program, on the background appears MS DOS windows Don t close the windows and leave the program finishes the installation 7. As soon as the installation ends, if no errors occured, the Installation Complete window will appear. Click Close button to exit the installation procedure 8. Connect the USB cable between the computer and unit processor before running the program.

Disabling driver signature and enforcement in Windows 8 To install properly all USB Drivers for RDNet Interfaces (like Control 8 or Control 2 ) it s necessary to take some steps before installing the dvanetwork.exe file, in order to allow Windows 8 OS to accept a unsigned USB driver on your PC. Just check the following steps: 1. Put the mouse on the right corner of your screen and click on Settings, then on Change PC settings 2. From PC Settings control panel choose General > Advanced Startup> Restart now. Now the system will restart and will take some time to show up the boot menu. 3. Then you ll be prompted with a menu called Choose an Option. Choose Troubleshoot.

4. After that, the following menu will appear. Please choose Advanced Options 5. Then you ll see this menu. Choose Windows Startup Settings, and then click Restart. 6. Now the computer will restart and the following boot menu will appear. Choose Disable Driver signature Enforcement from this menu by clicking 7 in your keyboard. 7. Now Windows will start again and you can start DVA Network installation. Remember to allow third part drivers installation when asked during the installation

DVA Network Software Repair and Remove To repaired the correct functionalities of software (for instance, in case of errors due to dameged files) or to remove it, please follow the procedures below: 1. According to Windows system configuration, it is necessary to run the correct program inside the folder created during the installation: With Windows to 32bit, open the dedicate folder Setup DVA Network 1.0 Win 32bit - open the Setup DVA Network 1.0 Win 32bit.exe program With Windows to 64bit, open the dedicate folder Setup DVA Network 1.0 Win 64bit - open the Setup DVA Network 1.0 Win 64bit.exe program Note: If you kept the default folder, the path is C:\Program Files\dB Technologies\DVA Network 2. The window with 2 options is shown. Choose: - Repair DVA Network xx to repair the damage software - Remove DVA Network xx to uninstall Click Finish to proceed Example with 64bit release 3. After to finish please wait the uninstallation to be complete. While waiting, the installation progress bar is shown.

4. As soon as the uninstallation ends, if no errors occurred, the Installation Complete window will appear. Click Close button to exit to procedure. Notes About the DVA Network Software The DVA Network software is protected by international copyright laws and it is meant to be used to configure db Technologies systems only. It is not allowed to modify or change or try to decompile this software. In no event shall db Technologies be liable to end-users for any damage whatsoever, including but not limited to financial damages for loss of business profits or business information due to the software use or inability to use this product. The foregoing provision is effective even if db Technologies has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Even if the software has any material, verifiable and reproducible program errors, db Technologies shall have no obligation to modify such errors.
