Program 27.28 09 2013 Great Innovations in Cardiology Advances in Cardiac Arrhythmias 9 th Turin Cardiovascular Nursing Convention
INVITATION LETTER The Congress Advances in cardiac arrhythmias and great innovations in cardiology deals with the newest developments in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac diseases. In particular, during the two days, the Symposium will delve into ACS, sudden cardiac death and the future of pacing. A whole session will focus on TAVI and another one will be focused on atrial fibrillation management presenting the most innovative therapies and techniques. Also for the forthcoming edition there will be space for luncheon sessions. During these sessions the links between food and cardiovascular health will be discussed as well as the potential benefits and social costs of new oral anticoagulant therapies. Insights about renal denervation as very last resort against resistant hypertension and about new absorbable stents will be provided. The Symposium gathers some of the greatest Italian and Foreign experts together giving prominence and success to the event. Furthermore the fruitful cooperation between Città della Salute e della Scienza Hospital in Turin and the Mayo Clinic in Rochester allows sharing of knowledge and expertise between the two Institutions. We really hope you will enjoy the Congress. Fiorenzo Gaita and Sebastiano Marra Fiorenzo Gaita Sebastiano Marra LETTER 4
