3 LE POTEZIONI Nel settore delle costruzioni meccaniche lo spazio da proteggere è oggi il problema principale da affrontare. La progettazione tradizionale non è sufficiente a garantire, in determinati settori, la sicurezza della macchina per l'operatore. I sistemi MILPASS, nati come insieme di prodotti destinati alla specifica protezione antinfortunistica di macchine automatiche, sono senz'altro una valida soluzione alle problematiche citate grazie all'estrema modularità, alla semplicità di montaggio e mobilità degli elementi e degli accessori. Nella realizzazione di questo catalogo abbiamo voluto concentrarci su un aspetto puramente tecnico dei prodotti per dare la possibilità alle aziende o studi tecnici di avere un valido strumento di lavoro in cui trovare soluzioni chiare a tutte le domande progettuali ed installative riferite alle protezioni antinfortunistiche ed alle loro normative. SAFETY GUADS Nowadays the space to be protected is the main problem to be dealt with in the machanical construction sector. Traditional design is not enough, in certain sectors, to guarantee the machine safety for the operator. MILPASS systems, created as a range of products aimed at the specific accident-prevention for automatic machines, are undoubtedly a valid solution to these problems, being extremely modular and simple to assemble, with easily movable components and accessories. In preparing this catalogue we decided to concentrate on a merely technical aspect of our products, so as to provide companies and technical design firms with a valid working tool offering clear solutions to all the design and installation demands involving accidentprevention protections and relative regulations. LES POTECTIONS Dans le secteur des constructions mécaniques l espace à protéger représente aujourd hui le problème principal à aborder. Dans certains secteurs la conception traditionnelle n est plus suffisante à garantir la sécurité de la machine vis-à-vis de l opérateur. Les systèmes MILPASS, nés comme un ensemble de produits destinés à la protection spécifique des machines automatiques contre les accidents, constituent sans doute une solution efficace aux problèmes ci-dessus grâce à l extrême modularité, à la simplicité de montage et à la mobilité des éléments et des accessoires. Strict controls are continuously carried out on the used materials, on the moulds and on the machining processes, which are coordinated and controlled by computer systems that allow daily checks on the work progress. 9 POGETTAZIONE E SVILUPPO In passato i progetti si sviluppavano su tavoli da disegno e si perfezionavano solo dopo lunghe modifiche. Oggi, sistemi CAD dedicati e software specifici ci permettono di definire in breve tempo e con maggiore precisione un progetto completo riducendo i tempi di verifica, preventivazione e composizione delle distinte basi di lavoro. Per ogni cliente viene creato uno "storico", ovvero un archivio al cui interno affluiscono dati riguardanti le sue esigenze costruttive, gli assunti progettuali o più in generale le sue particolari esigenze tecniche, con evidenti vantaggi per la gestione di commesse successive e l'eliminazione di formali procedure che in passato assorbivano tempo prezioso ed improduttivo. Questa ottimizzazione delle fasi progettuali permette maggiore attenzione alle problematiche legate all'ideazione di protezioni conformi agli standard richiesti dalle normative oggi vigenti. PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT In the past, projects were developed on the drawing table and were only perfected after long modifications. Today, dedicated CAD systems and specific software enable us to define a complete project much faster and with greater precision, reducing the times needed for checking, making quotations and working out the components part lists. Each customer is assigned a file containing data concerning his construction requirements, design specifications or more in general his particular technical requirements, to the clear advantage of the subsequent order management and the elimination of formal procedures that previously took up precious and unproductive time. This streamlining of the planning stages makes it possible to focus greater attention on the problems connected to the design of safety guards complying with the requested standards by the regulations currently in force. CONCEPTION ET DEVELOPPEMENT Dans le passé les projets étaient développés sur des tables à dessin et n étaient perfectionnés qu après de longues modifications. Aujourd hui, les systèmes C.A.O. dédiés et les logiciels spécifiques nous permettent de définir, brièvement et avec plus de précision, un projet complet tout en réduisant les temps de vérification, devis, et composition des listes des matériaux et des composants. Pour chaque client nous allons créer un fichier personnalisé contenant toutes les données concernant ses exigences de construction, ses indications de projet ou, plus en général, ses particulières exigences techniques, avec d évidents avantages pour la gestion des commandes successifs et l élimination des procédures formelles qui dans le passé absorbaient du temps précieux et improductif. Cette optimisation des phases de projeter permet d observer une attention particulière aux problèmes liés à la création de protections conformes aux exigences spécifiées dans les normes actuellement en vigueur.

14 MILPASS: una risposta essenziale ai problemi sulla sicurezza del macchinario. Le macchine devono rispondere ai equisiti Essenziali ai fini della Sicurezza (ES) e della tutela della salute (Direttiva Macchine). Questi requisiti sono imperativi. Anche quando lo stato dell'arte non dovesse consentire di raggiungere l'obiettivo stabilito dai ES, ci si dovrà adoperare con lo scopo di avvicinarsi, quanto più possibile, a questi livelli essenziali di sicurezza. MILPASS, se interpellata parallelamente alla fase di progettazione, è in grado di intervenire attraverso un'accurata valutazione dei rischi per risolvere alcuni dei principali problemi aventi per oggetto la sicurezza del macchinario. Per individuare i settori in cui i nostri prodotti possono dare una risposta ai problemi di sicurezza del macchinario abbiamo elaborato la tabella sottostante in cui è riportato l'indice della direttiva macchine. 15 MILPASS: an essential reply to machine safety. Machines must comply with Essential equirements for Safety purposes (ES) and for health protection (Machine egulations). These requirements are mandatory. Even if the state of the art does not make it possible to achieve the objective established by the ES, it is necessary to engage in order to fulfil these essential safety levels to the greatest extent. If MILPASS is contacted during the design stage, we are able to intervene by carefully evaluating the risks in order to solve some of the main problems involved in machine safety. In order to define the sectors in which our products can provide a solution to machine safety problems, we have drawn up the following list, which includes the Machine egulation index. 16 MILPASS: une réponse essentielle aux problèmes liés à la sécurité des machines. Les machines doivent répondres à des Conditions Essentielles au point de vue de la Sécurité (ES) et de la sauvegarde de la santé (Directive sur les Machines). Ces conditions sont requises de façon impérative. Même au cas où l état de l art ne permettrait pas d atteindre le but fixé par les ES, on devra quand même mettre tout en œuvre pour s approcher, d autant que possible, de ces niveaux de sécurité essentiels. Si on l interpelle pendant que la phase de projet est en cours, MILPASS est à même de réaliser une évalutation soignée des risques afin de résoudre quelques-uns des problèmes principaux ayant pour objet la sécurité des machines. Pour identifier les secteurs dans lesquels nos produits peuvent fournir une réponse à ces problèmes de sécurité, nous avons élaboré le tableau ci-dessous qui montre l index de la directive sur les machines. On a identifié par: C = la conformité des machines aux ES, qu on peut obtenir grâce à l utilisation des produits MILPASS. NP =les cas où les produits MILPASS ne sont pas pertinents/appropriés.
