1 AI TUTTI I NOSTRI RIVENDITORI Lissone, 19/09/11 Oggetto: NOVITA KART BIREL 2012 Con la presente abbiamo il piacere di comunicarvi tutte le novità che miglioreranno in modo sostanziale le performance ed il look dei i Kart per 2012 siglati S4 : Impianto freno posteriore mod. RR I-25: (vedi disegno), con recupero di gioco a 4 pistoncini, con disco freno flottante in ghisa diam.180mm ed attacco al cuscinetto assale tramite un supporto radiale Impianto freno anteriore KZ mod. RR I-25: (vedi disegno) con recupero di gioco a 2 pistoncini e con disco freno fisso in ghisa diam.150mm

Serbatoio benzina: è stato riposizionato più in basso con conseguente modifica del pianale che sarà piatto, lasciando una maggiore regolazione della posizione del volante

2 Impianto freno anteriore manuale mod. RR I-25: (vedi disegno) con recupero di gioco e con disco freno flottante in acciaio diam.150mm Supporto cuscinetto assale: (vedi disegno) ridimensionato e con la possibilità di fare la regolazione in altezza in 3 differenti posizioni. Serbatoio benzina: è stato riposizionato più in basso con conseguente modifica del pianale che sarà piatto, lasciando una maggiore regolazione della posizione del volante (alto/basso). Scocca: sono state apportate modifiche strutturali alla scocca: specialmente nella parte anteriore per migliorare la precisione dell avantreno con conseguente miglioramento delle prestazioni, della facilità di guida e della costanza del kart.

3 Carenature Laterali: sono state sviluppate delle nuove carenature laterali per i telai racing più leggere ed aerodinamiche per migliorare ulteriormente il bilanciamento del kart e la facilità di guida. Queste carenature saranno disponibili come Optional a partire da Gennaio Un ulteriore novità riguarda la sigla ed il numero di serie del telaio che non saranno più stampati sul supporto cuscinetto assale sinistro ma, saranno sulla piastra di omologazione posizionata sulla traversa posteriore del telaio. C28-R: Sul telaio minikart C28-R (nuova sigla 2012) sono state ridisegnate le flangie supporto cuscinetto assale seguendo la linea dei nuovi telai Racing S4, oltre a diverse modifiche strutturali, sia geometriche che di materiali, per migliorarne la prestazione e la facilità di guida. RY32-S4: Nella gamma dei telai 2012 Birel, ci sarà anche un nuovo telaio da 32 mm siglato RY32-S4 sia per la categoria KF che KZ omologato per il periodo Questo kart è stato sviluppato ed testato già nelle gare della stagione 2011 con ottimi risultati di performance. In allegato vi inviamo uno schema con i nuovi kart 2012 con le relative caratteristiche. La disponibilità dei modelli S4 sarà da metà Ottobre Vi chiediamo gentilmente, per poter facilitare e ridurre i tempi di consegna dei telai, soprattutto in alta stagione, di farci prevenire un programma dei Vs. acquisti in anticipo. 4 TO OUR RESELLERS Lissone, 19 September 2011 SUBJECT: NOVELTIES BIREL KARTS 2012 We are pleased to present you all the novelties that improve the performance and the look of the 2012 Karts signed "S4": Rear brake system mod. RR I-25 : (see drawing) with self adjusting braking at 4 pistons. With floating cast iron brake disc diam. 180mm and connection to the axle bearing by a radial support. Front brake system KZ mod. RR I-25: (see drawing) with self adjusting braking at 2 pistons and with fix cast iron brake disc diam. 150mm

5 Front manual brake system mod. RR I-25: (see drawing) with self adjusting braking and with floating steel brake disc diam. 150mm. Support axle bearing: (see drawing) it has been reduced and there is the possibility of height in three different position. Petrol tank: it has been relocated further down with consequent change of the floor panel that will be flat, leaving a greater adjustment of the position of the steering wheel (up/down). Frame : in order to improve accuracy of the forecarriage, structural changes had been made to the frame especially in the front. That resulting in improved performance, easier driving and the constancy of the kart

6 Side pods: new side pods had been developed for the racing karts. They will be lighter and aerodynamics to further improve the balance and the easier driving of the kart. These pods will be available as Optional from January A further novelty concerns the Initials and Serial Number of the frame. These will be on the homologation plate, placed on the rear cross member of the frame, andl no more on the left support rear axle bearing. C28-R: the support axle bearing of the minikart frame C28-R (new 2012 initial), was redesigned following the line of the new Racing karts S4. There were also several changes in the structure, geometric and material, to improve the performance and the easier driving. RY32-S4: in the range of Birel Karts 2012, there will be a new frame of 32mm signed RY32-S4 for both categories KF-KZ, homologated for the period 2012 to This kart has been already developed and tested during the races of 2011 season with good performance results. Attached you will find a scheme with the new 2012 Karts with their characteristics.
