7 40 o ANNIVERSARIO CASCHI DAL 1974 Nata nel cosiddetto distretto dei caschi tra le Valli di Bergamo nel 1974, L.A.S. Helmets si prende cura da quasi 40 anni della sicurezza di chi ama lo sport. 10 8 SAFETY - CERTIFICATION: Las Helmets is a certified company by worldwide institutes. Each Las Helmet product is compliant to different standards all over the world, being safety our priority. We are equipped to internally test the helmets safety starting from the product developing stage. Our certifications: CE EN:1078, USA CPSC, Australian AS/SNZ 2063:2008. LAS Helmets è un azienda certificata presso diversi enti in tutto il mondo. I caschi LAS Helmets sono sottoposti a test di diversa natura in vari Paesi, per garantire la massima sicurezza. L azienda si avvale anche di una macchina per i test interna per misurare il grado di sicurezza già durante la progettazione e sviluppo dei caschi. Fra le principali omologazioni ricordiamo l europea CE EN:1078, l americana CPSC, l australiana AS/SNZ 2063: IN HOUSE TESTING LAB: Our helmets are put through many safety tests to certify the structure strength, the shock absorbing properties, the strap resistance and also the validity of the attached information. The main tests are: Shock absorbing capacity: the helmet falls down to different surfaces to measure its impact reaction. Retention system: makes sure that all parts are securely attached to the helmet, that the strap doesn t come off the headform, that there is no extension and that it is easy to release. Conditioning: exposing the helmet to high and low temperature it maintains its qualities. I nostri caschi sono sottoposti a numerosi test di sicurezza per provarne la struttura, la resistenza agli urti, la tenuta del cinturino, la qualità delle informazioni allegate. Fra i principali test: Assorbimento degli urti: facendo cadere una falsa testa con indosso il casco da diverse altezze su superfici metalliche di varie forme e a diverse temperature. Sistema di ritenuta: il cinturino sollecitato con dei pesi non si deve allungare, scivolare o staccare e deve essere facilmente apribile. Condizionamento: a temperature estreme il casco deve mantenere inalterate le proprie qualità. - REINFORCING FRAME: The so called Reinforcing frame is a nylon grid inside the polystyrene that increases the helmet resistance and gives support in the crisis points. The frame is flexible and keeps the polystyrene compact. Lo Scheletro di rinforzo è una struttura in nylon annegata all interno del polistirolo del casco per aumentarne la resistenza agli impatti nei punti critici. Grazie alla sua flessibilità, lo scheletro mantiene unite in modo elastico le parti in policarbonato (di polistirolo) più esposte.

12 10 TECHNOLOGY - FIN STRUCTURE: The so-called FINS plastic bump-dumping elements are the key feature of model ANUBI. They are structurally important for the air in-flow as well as for the shock resistance, as they absorb the frontal shocks impact and release it uniformly to the shell. Since the fins are molded in the helmets, they are not removable, consequently they cannot be replaced by another color of fin. La pinna è un dispositivo strutturale di plastica che scarica la forza degli impatti frontali su tutta la calotta in modo uniforme grazie alla sua flessibilità. Inoltre favorisce un ottima ventilazione. (Carbon Aluminum Technology Absorption) break resistant technology gives the helmet a superior resistance to impacts even in extreme conditions at either low o high temperatures. The pure carbon texture and the aluminum stripes are made to absorb and spread any impact power, cutting the compression force on the cranium by the 23,7% rate. La tecnologia C.A.T.A. (Carbon Aluminum Technology Absorbtion) conferisce al casco una maggior resistenza agli impatti, anche in condizioni estreme di alta o bassa temperatura. La maglia di puro carbonio assorbe e dissipa l energia degli urti, abbattendo del 23,7% la forza dell impatto impresso sulla calotta cranica. - 3 DIMENSIONS CATEYES EVO 2 SYSTEM The CAT EYES EVO 2 size regulazion system is based on a micrometric wheel that guarantees a perfect adjustment on the head s shape and a superior stability. The CATEYES also allows a vertical adjustment with 59 mm vertical range set.
