A tasting of wines and Grappa from Italy The annual event of celebration of Italian wine invites you to discover more than 100 winemakers The Italian Trade Commission presents a Tasting of Wines and Grappa from Italy: an event for professionals, experts and journalists renowned in the industry. Each year, many wine producers attend this event: while 82 winemakers will present their products in Montreal and Toronto, 51 winemakers will be in Vancouver and Calgary with more than 230 wines. This year the Tasting will take place for the eleventh time in eastern Canada (Montreal and Toronto) and for the fourth time it will channel through the Canadian territory from coast to coast and offering the opportunity to more than 100 producers to present their products to Canadian wine lovers. It will be the occasion to taste great wines and grappa, to travel through 15 Italian regions while surrounded by subtle sounds, lights and images of Italy: its people, its nature, its distinctiveness. The whole atmosphere will, this year, be the object of great attention in order to immerse every guest in the event, to help them focus on the wines colour, clarity, aroma, bouquet while living a unique sensory experience. A tasting of wines and Grappa from Italy The Italian Trade Commission works for the promotion of Made In Italy products and Italian lifestyle This event centres on several objectives. First and foremost the promotion of the Made In Italy brand in the world for its unique quality, but also to take part in the promotion of the characteristic elements of the Italian lifestyle. The love for gastronomy and wine is the perfect example: they trigger real passions and attract countless people towards the discovery of Italy s vineyards, history, traditions and language. For the eleventh time in Canada, this event gives the opportunity to discover (or to rediscover!) some of the most well-known wine producers of Italy. On the following pages: Program of the events.
