Per minimizzarle abbiamo creato una speciale zona di transizione assottigliando i posteriori verticali rendendoli così più flessibili verticalmente e raccordando in maniera opportuna il tubo orizzontale, in questo modo le vibrazioni che arrivano dalla ruota posteriore non si trasmettono al tubo reggisella (e quindi al corridore) ma vengono distribuite tra il tubo orizzontale e quello verticale. Every single element of the frame has been analyzed and developed to achieve maximum performance and reduced weight, thanks to brilliant combined use of T700/HM carbon fibers. Pure Racing Geometry and full internal cable passage, using either a mechanical or an electronic group (Born to be Wired). Steering column 1-1/8 1-1/4 designed according to the 60/40 ratio-standard between the down tube and the top tube, for an improved tubes interaction, taking stress off from the down tube, above all, in conditions of high frontal fork strain, as in sudden braking at high speeds. Steering control is significantly improved, also thanks to the slight curvature of the new monocoque fork blades. The saddle joint is one of the outstanding characteristics of the VBO frame, the point in which most of the rider s weight is transferred and where road strains are transmitted most strongly. To minimize them we have created a special transition zone, slimming the rear seat stays to make them more vertically flexible, and connecting the top tube so that the vibrations from the rear wheel instead of being transmitted to the seat post (and, therefore, the rider), dispersing strains along the horizontal and vertical tubes. The choice of a seat post with a diameter of 27.2 mm increases the vibration dumping effect. Abbiamo mantenuto gli elementi identificativi della Laser: la pinna sotto la scatola movimento, i raccordi dei nodi ed il passaggio della ruota posteriore ricavato nel tubo sella. Il passaggio dei cavi è completamente interno sia per i gruppi meccanici che elettronici. I forcellini posteriori intercambiabili a sandwich in alluminio CNC avvolgono e proteggono la parte centrale in carbonio totalmente integrata nel carro posteriore. Un apposito coperchietto in alluminio anodizzato posizionato sotto la pinna della scatola movimento consente un facile accesso per il passaggio dei cavi del cambio. MASH HISTOGRAM Chi pensa che si tratti semplicemente di un colore diverso non ha capito cosa si nasconde sotto. Questa geometria soddisfa le esigenze di ciclisti molto particolari che amano lanciarsi in curve strettissime, repentini cambi di direzione e slalom improvvisi, come una folle danza sulla strada. Questo telaio è nuova versione della grafica Histogram ideata da Garrett Chow, del gruppo MASH SF. MASH CXSS Frutto della collaborazione con il Team di MASH SF: un telaio CicloCross Single Speed realizzato con tubazioni in alluminio a triplo spessore Columbus Zonal. Veloce, scattante e preciso, equipaggiato con una forcella monoscocca in carbonio da 1-1/2 che assorbe le vibrazioni e aumenta la performance della bicicletta. Mozzo posteriore da 120 mm per una migliore campanatura della ruota che risulta così più bilanciata e reattiva. La clearance delle ruote è stata maggiorata per evitare l accumulo di fango. Il carro posteriore risulta più corto rispetto ad un telaio ciclocross tradizionale, rendendo così la bicicletta più maneggevole e facile da guidare anche nei percorsi più tecnici. A creation based on collaboration with the MASH SF team: a single-speed cyclocross frame made with Columbus Zonal triple-butted aluminium tubing. Quick, responsive, precise, outfitted with a monocoque carbon 1-1/2 fork that absorbs vibrations and improves riding performance. Rear 120 mm hub for improved wheel cambering, for better balance and response. The wheel clearance has been increased to avoid catching mud inside.
