H8 H HEADS Collective Showcase is a periodical which presents a series of projects and artists that reflect the Heads Collective approach and philosophy, or which are admired by the group. Heads Showcase is open to anyone who wants to contribute or submit their projects or portfolios. Heads Collective Showcase è aperta a tutti coloro che vogliono contribuire e inviare i loro progetti o portfolio. page 2 page 3 Agne Raceviciute brings to life, through fabric wastes and memory fragments, arcane figures, which seem to be dredged up from ancient legends and fairy tales. Visionary stories, populated by nonexistent knights and savage women that roam mysteriously among vegetative expanses and pristine waters. Among suspended dimensions and timeless places, where the feminine being becomes the guardian of life secrets and traditions. Backward journeys, in which fragments of dialogs, images and memories are rescued, and afterwards are overlapped and re-sewed on shapes that become metamorphic emotional structures. Agne pieces together, while at the same time disguises, the several identities that we all wear during our lives, offering us the possibility to undertake an initiatory path of mystic participation. Attraverso cascami di tessuti e lacerti di memorie, Agne Raceviciute dà vita a figure arcane, che paiono riesumate da leggende e fiabe antiche. Racconti visionari, popolati da cavalieri inesistenti e donne selvagge, che si aggirano, misteriosi, fra distese di vegetazione e acque incontaminate. Fra dimensioni sospese e luoghi senza tempo, dove l essere femminino diviene custode del segreto della vita e delle tradizioni. Si tratta quasi sempre di viaggi a ritroso da cui vengono recuperati frammenti di dialoghi, di immagini, di ricordi, successivamente sovrapposti e ricuciti su sagome che si trasformano in strutture emotive metamorfiche. Agne ricostruisce, e al contempo maschera, le molteplici identità che vestiamo nel corso di una vita, offrendoci la possibilità di incamminarci in un percorso iniziatico di partecipazione mistica.

She lives in Vittorio Veneto and Venice, working as artist and photographer. In 2009 she received a grant as artist in residence at Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa. She also worked with Fondazione Claudio Buziol, Via Farini, Otto zoo gallery and 1000 eventi gallery. She has realized projects of corporate image for Marsèll and Canedicoda. Artista Agne Raceviciute è nata a Klaipeda (Lituania) nel 1988 e vive tra Vittorio Veneto e Venezia dove lavora come artista e fotografa. Nel 2009 ha ricevuto una borsa di studio per un ateliers alla Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa, ha collaborato con la galleria Otto zoo, galleria 1000 eventi, Fondazione Claudio Buziol e Via Farini. Heads represents a new way to conceive the creative work: the core concept is a real collective with a central nucleus that works with external creatives and experts that share the same vision. Heads è un collettivo di creativi, provenienti da diverse esperienze e background culturali, che ricerca e sviluppa progetti interdisciplinari tra arte, grafica, design, video, illustrazione, fotografia e musica.
