Bongiorno è prontamente ripartito, mentre Conti è stato portato all Ospedale di Ciriè per accertamenti radiografici, avendo riportato una contusione al ginocchio e all anca di sinistra. Nell attraversamento di Ivrea sono caduti 5 corridori, senza conseguenze importanti. L ultimo a rialzarsi è stato il n 42 BUCHMANN Emanuel (BOA), che ha riportato escoriazioni e contusioni multiple al lato destro, che lo hanno costretto al ritiro. Al km 56, sono caduti alcuni corridori, senza riportare conseguenze, mentre poco dopo il dorsale n 64 GOLAS Michal (EQS) è stato costretto al ritiro per trauma facciale ed escoriazioni multiple al volto.
