CARP (Carrier Appointment Request Portal) è un portale online per effettuare le richieste di appuntamenti per le consegne presso i magazzini Amazon. CARP offre un sistema efficiente e standardizzato per richiedere appuntamenti per le consegne e impedisce di prenotare OdA (Ordine d Acquisto) che non sono in un corretto status. Amazon monitora il livello di servizio delle risposte in CARP, avendo come SLA (Service Level Agreement) un periodo di 4 ore durante l orario di ufficio. CARP invia un numero identificativo per ogni richiesta di appuntamento ed è utilizzato come canale di comunicazione web-based tra i corrieri e il FC, attraverso cui tutte le informazioni sono chiare e non vengono perse o confuse a causa di continui scambi di . Se la consegna è divisa per più truck, i corrieri dovranno richiedere un appuntamento per ogni truck. Per qualsiasi informazione riguardo ai nostri requisiti di consegna, si prega di consultare il Manuale del Fornitore di Amazon, disponibile nel Centro Risorse in Vendor Central. Quando utilizzare CARP? I Corrieri dovrebbero sempre utilizzare CARP per richiedere uno slot di consegna nei nostri FC per tutte le consegne pallettizzate. Per le consegne di colli sfusi (consegne Express), i principali corrieri Parcel hanno slot fissi assegnati nei nostri FC per consegnare senza effettuare la prenotazione. Creazione account in CARP È possibile accedere al portale è possibile tramite il seguente link: Nel caso in cui non aveste un Nome utente ed una Password, selezionate Richiedere nuovo account. Per prima cosa dovrete scegliere tra un account di tipo Corriere e un account di tipo Venditore

2 Amazon raccomanda che le richieste di appuntamento vengano evase direttamente dal corriere, poiché ci aspettiamo che ci sia un solo appuntamento per ogni camion in arrivo nei nostri magazzini, e i corrieri hanno una miglior visibilità su possili slot fissi e sugli orari in cui preferiscono consegnare. - se siete un corriere che sta consegnando merce a carico di un fornitore di Amazon, selezionare la casella "Corriere" e compilare tutti i campi come indicato di seguito in 1) Account Corriere. - se siete un fornitore: Amazon raccomanda sempre di lasciare nelle mani del corriere la prenotazione di un appuntamento di scarico. Eccezione: Un fornitore può procedere direttamente con la prenotazione solo nel caso in cui è sicuro che la cosegna non conterrà altre spedizioni da parte di altri fornitori di Amazon (esempio, se state consegnando con il vostro camion). In questo caso il fornitore deve soddisfare i seguenti criteri: o Nella vostra prenotazione dovrà essere inserito il contenuto completo del camion (quindi il camion o non conterrà altri prodotti indirizzati in un magazzino di Amazon) L autista dovrà rispettare l orario di consegna accordato e mostrare all ingresso del magazzino il numero di appuntamento corretto. Se questi requisiti saranno soddisfatti, allora potete creare il vostro account di tipo fornitore selezionando la casella Venditore e compilare tutti i campi come indicato di seguito in 2) Account Fornitore. Al fine di eliminare appuntamenti duplicati in CARP, Corriere e Fornitore devono assicurarsi che solo uno di loro (preferibilmente il corriere) farà la prenotazione della consegna. Creando una prenotazione doppia si potrebbe incorrere in una multa per No-Show.

3 1) Account Corriere Il Codice Alfa Corriere Standard (SCAC) è un codice alfa-numerico composto da 5 caratteri. Se la vostra compagnia ha già consegnato prodotti ad Amazon, si prega di controllare con il vostro management lo SCAC che vi è stato assegnato. Se non conoscete il vostro SCAC Code, dovete richiederlo tramite cliccando sul link Contattaci nella homepage del portale CARP. Riceverete il vostro codice SCAC entro 24 ore, e così voi sarete in grado di completare il campo SCAC nel form. Tutte le comunicazioni relative alla gestione degli appuntamenti e al CARP verranno indirizzate all indirizzo specificato in questo campo. È consigliabile, pertanto, che settiate una mailing list alla quale siano collegate tutte le persone che necessitano avere tale visibilità Il numero di telefono deve essere un numero dove vi possiamo sempre raggiungere in caso di problem o emergenze con le consegne. Si prega di inserire nel campo solo cifre; lettere o altri caratteri non sono previsti. Nome utente e password devono avere ALMENO 8 caratteri (lettere e/o numeri). Essi vi saranno richiesti ogni volta che dovrete prenotare una consegna. Nome utente e password non possono essere uguali. Non usare il carattere spazio. Se tu sei un nuovo corriere di Amazon, vi sarà richiesto di compilare un form addizionale (di sotto vi è l esempio).

4 Dovrete re-inserire il codice SCAC che vi ha fornito Amazon, compilare tutti gli altri campi, includendo un ordine d acquisto OdA (o Purchase Order, PO) aperto che vi ha fornito il vostro cliente e che voi dovrete consegnare presso il nostro FC, e il vostro account sarà creato. Riceverete una di conferma appena il vostro account è stato generato. 2) Account Fornitore (da usare eccezionalmente, vedi a p.2 i criteri da soddisfare) Il Codice Fornitore è un codice alfa-numerico composto da 5 caratteri. Esso è in relazione ai vostri ordini d acquisto. I nostri sistemi usano il codice fornitore (o Vendor Code) per sottomettere una richiesta. Se non conoscete il vostro codice fornitore Amazon, potete trovarlo a fianco ad ogni ordine d acquisto in Vendor Central > Ordini > Ordini d acquisto, sotto la colonna Fornitore ; in alternativa, contattate il vostro In-Stock Manager per ricevere l informazione. Tutte le comunicazioni relative alla gestione degli appuntamenti e al CARP verranno indirizzate all indirizzo specificato in questo campo. 6 English Version CARP LOGIN HELP What is CARP? CARP is an appointment booking request online portal for Amazon Fulfillment Centers. CARP provides an efficient, standardized system for requesting booking as it prevents the booking of any POs that are not in the correct status. Amazon monitors CARP response times to meet a Service Level Agreement (SLA) of less than 4 hours during office hours. CARP delivers a tracking number for all appointment requests and serves as a web-based communication channel between carriers and FC where no information is missed or confused due to multiple exchanges. In case the delivery is split over several trucks, carriers are required to request a booking for each truck delivering. For any further information about our delivery requirements, please refer to the Amazon Vendor Manual, available on Vendor Central Resource Center. When to use CARP? Carriers should always use CARP to request a delivery slot into our FCs for palletized deliveries. For Loose Parcel deliveries (Express deliveries), the main Parcel Carriers have fix slot agreement with our FCs to deliver without Booking. To confirm which express carriers are allowed to come without a CARP booking, please contact us through the Contact Us / Customer Service functionality on the Home Page of CARP. CARP account creation In order to get access to CARP, please follow this link: If you do not have Username and Password, select Request New Account. You will be prompt to choose between Carrier account and Vendor Account:

7 Amazon strongly advises that appointment requests are made by the carrier on behalf of the vendors as we expect only one appointment request by truck in delivery, and carriers have better visibility on possible granted fix slots or preferred delivery timing. - If you are a carrier delivering for an Amazon supplier, please tick the Carrier box and follow the instruction from 1) Carrier Account. - If you are a vendor supplying Amazon: we recommend you that you let your carrier take the appointment. Exception: Vendors can proceed to booking the delivery directly in case they can ensure that the delivery will not contain any other shipment from other Amazon suppliers (ie: if are delivering with their own truck). In which case the vendor has to meet the below eligibility criteria : your booking request should reflect the full content of the truck (so the truck will not contain any other goods addressed to Amazon) the truck driver respects the granted booking schedule and provides the correct booking number at the entrance gate. If you meet these requirements please create your Vendor Account by ticking the Vendor box and following the instruction from 2) Vendor Account. In order to avoid duplication of CARP appointments, Vendors and Carriers should ensure that only one of them (preferably Carrier) is requesting the bookings. Failure to comply with this requirement may incur deduction for No Show.

8 1) Carrier Account Standard Carrier Alpha Code (SCAC) is a unique 5 alpha-numeric digits code. If your company has already delivered goods to Amazon, please check with your management to know the SCAC for your company. If you are a new carrier and you don t have SCAC code, you need to request it by clicking on the Contact-us button at the top of the CARP homepage. You will receive in latest 24h your SCAC Code, then you will be able to fill the field Standard Carrier Alpha Code. The Address provided will be the address where you will receive all CARP related communication as well as announcements. Hence, it is advisable to use an address in which multiple users have access to (i.e. a shared mailbox) Telephone number should be an operational one where we can reach out to you in case of delivery related issues/emergencies. Please make sure you only include numbers. No other letters or characters are needed. Username and Password MUST have a minimum of eight letters and/or numbers. They will be required at each booking request. Username and password cannot be equals. Do not use space as a character. In case you are a new carrier to Amazon, you will be asked to fill-in the additional form below:

9 You have to re-enter SCAC Code provided by Amazon, fill all the other fields, including an open Amazon Purchase Order (PO) given by our supplier you are delivering for, and your account will be created. You will receive an confirmation for the account creation. 2) Vendor Account (to be used exceptionally, see pag 2 for eligibility criteriaerror! Reference source not found.error! Reference source not found.) Vendor Code is a unique five-character code given on your Purchase Order. Our system uses a Vendor Code for submission of delivery requests to the Fulfilment Centers (FCs). If you are not aware of your Amazon Vendor Code, you can find it in any Purchase Order available in Vendor Central > Orders > Purchase Orders under the «Vendor» Field; otherwise please feel free to The Address provided will be the address where you will receive all CARP related communication as well as announcements. 10 You have to fill all the fields, including an open Amazon Purchase Order associated to your Vendor Code in the field PO Number, and account will be created. You will receive an confirmation for the account creation.
