3 Erano gli anni sessanta. Gli anni del bianco e nero, il periodo delle nuove mode femminili, l epoca d importanti mutamenti sociali e, di un certo benessere diffuso che faceva sperare nel futuro. E nel 66, nasceva la Saturnia, un po come una sfida, un po come nascono tutte le umane imprese: con il desiderio di crescere. Inizia così una storia italiana fatta d impegno e condivisione degli obiettivi. Al principio la produzione era in ceramica poi, negli anni 80, la Saturnia, convinta e sostenuta da una domanda sempre crescente, compie un salto di qualità, passando dalla ceramica alla più pregiata porcellana. Come un cambio di binario, inizia così un nuovo capitolo della storia aziendale che rappresenterà il successo di un futuro sempre positivo. Tante le figure professionali che in quasi cinquant anni si sono avvicendate alla guida dell azienda ed alla produzione. Una squadra fatta di uomini e donne, che hanno saputo tradurre ed interpretare le esigenze di sempre più ampi bacini di utenza, andando a definire una gamma di prodotti molto mirata. Oltre ai piatti piani e fondi, che rappresentano il primo approccio nellʼarte del convivio, tanti sono gli elementi a coordinamento, utili per la loro funzione, ma anche in grado di conferire una nota di preziosità stilistica nella tavola. Ancor più, vista la sobrietà delle linee, alcuni elementi possono essere inseriti anche in diverse collezioni senza creare distonie stilistiche al servizio primario.
