Comer Industries Headquarters is based in Reggiolo (Reggio Emilia), Italy. The sale of products and customer support is entrusted to a direct sales organization, consisting of 3 divisions, each focusing on a specific market segment: Agri, Industrial and Wind Energy. 5 Gamma Range TRASMISSIONI CON MOTORE VERTICALE - TRANSMISSION WITH VERTICAL MOTOR Le ruote elettriche, ad ingranaggi, sono predisposte per il montaggio del motore elettrico in posizione verticale e con ralla sterzante integrata. Progettate tenendo conto delle più recenti tecnologie e nel rispetto delle normative vigenti relative alle trasmissioni per veicoli industriali a batteria. Di poca manutenzione e di facile assistenza poichè il montagggio e lo smontaggio dellle parti assemblate (es. motore elettrico) avviene senza dover rimuovere alcuna parte della trasmissione e degli accessori. Lubrificazione a bagno d olio. The gearing transmissions are pre-arranged for the fitting of the electric motor in a vertical position. Developed and designed according to the state-of-the-art technology, they meet all requirements on power transmission of battery-driven industrial trucks. This type of transmissions need law maintenance and servicing since the assembly and disassembly of the parts (i.e. electric motor) happens without having to remove any transmission parts and accessories. Oil bath lubrication. 11 Centro Ricerche di Meccatronica Mechatronics Research Centre Ricerca applicata ed innovazione di prodotto Applied research and product innovation Lo sviluppo, la sperimentazione e la prova dei prodotti WHEEL DRIVE UNITS vengono effettuati nel Centro Ricerche di Meccatronica di Comer Industries, realizzato nel 1996 a Reggiolo (RE) per la ricerca applicata e l innovazione di prodotto. Dal 2002 il Centro Ricerche é inserito nell albo dei laboratori di ricerca pubblici e privati gestito dal Miur, il Ministero italiano dell Istruzione dell Università e della Ricerca, quale primo laboratorio in Italia operativo nel campo della meccatronica. Il Centro Ricerche consente a Comer Industries di realizzare l innovazione, la messa a punto ottimale del prodotto e di comprimere i tempi di esecuzione dei prototipi; ai clienti consente di ridurre il time to market per il lancio sul mercato delle nuove macchine. WHEEL DRIVE UNITS product line is developed, tested and approved in the Comer Industries Mechatronics Research Center, which has been set up in 1996 at Reggiolo (RE) to conduct applied research and innovation. Since 2002, the Center has been introduced in the register of the Private and public Research Laboratories run by the MIUR, the Italian Ministry of Instruction, University and Research. In the Mechatronic sector, the Comer Industries laboratory is the first in Italy included in the ministerial program. The Center enables Comer Industries to maximize innovation, the optimum product performances, to reduce the prototyping lead times and the customer s timeto-market required for innovative projects. 10
