kan ban Da anni Fervit è in grado di fornire la propria gamma di prodotti standard e speciali secondo modalità di fornitura non convenzionali, tra cui il kan ban. Il kan ban è una modalità di fornitura che rientra nelle modalità di produzione just in time, le quali prevedono che i componenti necessari per la produzione arrivino nella quantità necessaria ed al momento necessario. Gli obiettivi sono la riduzione delle scorte, il miglioramento della qualità del prodotto, il recupero di flessibilità nei confronti dell andamento della domanda. Lo strumento che governa questo sistema di produzione è il appunto kanban. Il kanban è un sistema di informazione per il controllo delle quantità da fornire o produrre in ciascuna fase di lavoro. Il kanban fisicamente è un cartellino che accompagna i contenitori con i prodotti, corredato da una serie di informazioni quali: -il nome del prodotto -la sua posizione di stoccaggio -il suo codice identificativo -la capienza del contenitore La lettura del cartellino segnala l avvenuto consumo del prodotto e la necessità di ripristino della quantità di materiale utilizzato in produzione.
