CRIC - Un buon sistema di carica allunga decisamente la vita della batteria, e quello più appropriato è a corrente costante con controllo della tensione. - La tensione di carica varia a secondo della rapidità di carica e della temperatura ambiente, generalmente da a v. Occorre leggere attentamente le istruzioni d uso degli apparecchi ove utilizzarle, prima di procedere al loro impiego, e rispettare sempre alcune regole importanti: Evitare i corti circuiti. I corti circuiti producono un grande calore e possono, pertanto, danneggiare sia le batterie che l apparecchiatura, oltre che provocare incendi Evitare di eseguire saldature direttamente sulla batteria o su qualsiasi parte di essa. Il calore potrebbe, infatti, danneggiare sia la valvola autosigillante che la struttura esterna Non fare a pezzi le batterie, contengono sostante tossiche ed aggressive e potrebbero provocare irritazioni ed ustioni alle parti venute a contatto Evitare, assolutamente, di avvicinare le batterie ad una sorgente di calore o di gettarle sul fuoco atterie vecchie e nuove, o di tipi diversi, non possono essere usate insieme. Per far questo devono essere identiche in tutta la loro natura. É SSOLUTMENTE VIETTO L UTILIZZO DELLE TTERIE IN PRLLELO Occorre praticare dei fori di ventilazione nelle custodie sigillate che contengono le batterie, per far uscire i gas che si possono accumulare durante la carica. Nei terminali a lamelle l uscita dipende dal numero delle celle assemblate e dal tipo di assemblaggio.
