STORIA La ditta FIZAN è stata fondata nel 1947 dal sig. Fincati Domenico, con la produzione di 6 paia di bastoni da sci in alluminio. La geniale intuizione fu quella di utilizzare l alluminio, quando invece i bastoni da sci venivano prodotti in acciaio o in canne di bambù. In tutti questi decenni FIZAN è cresciuta molto, investendo in tecnologia, ricerca e sviluppo, ma ha cercato sempre di mantenere inalterato l attaccamento alla sua terra (nel Veneto ad un ora da Venezia e dalle Dolomiti) ed alle sue origini, fatte di amore per il prodotto e la qualità. Nell ultimo decennio l attività è proseguita con il nipote Andrea Zaltron che, con il suo team di validi collaboratori, si sta affermando tra i leader mondiali del settore. HISTORY Mr Fincati Domenico founded Fizan in 1947, a man of vision, he was first to produce ski poles in aluminum when steel and bamboo were the normal materials used, the rest as they say is history. Over the following years, continual investment in technology, research and development has helped Fizan become a world leader within the ski and trekking pole market. Passion for quality and design has kept the company firmly rooted to their origins in Veneto (one hour from Venice and Dolomites Mountains). Over the last 10 years, this passion, heritage and innovation has been lead by nephew Andrea Zaltron. TUTELA dell AMBIENTE e della SALUTE FIZAN è da sempre attenta al rispetto per l ambiente circostante utilizzando solo materiali riciclabili. A tale scopo è stato anche fatto l investimento per l impianto fotovoltaico per la produzione di energia alternativa (circa 50 kw di potenza). In questo modo FIZAN è autosufficiente per circa il 60% del proprio fabbisogno, evitando l emissione annua di circa 25.000 kg di CO2. FIZAN garantisce che la propria produzione Made in Italy è conforme a tutte le normative europee circa il divieto di utilzzo di sostanze dannose. ENVIROMENT and HEALTH CARE FIZAN has always been respectful of the environment and use only recyclable materials. To further this commitment, they have invested in and use a photovoltaic system for the production of alternative energy (about 50 kw of power). This gives FIZAN around 60% of its power needs, avoiding the annual emission into the atmosphere of around 35.000 kg of CO2. TUBI Nei bastoni da trekking e nordic walking il tubo di alluminio rappresenta l anima del prodotto. Per questo FIZAN utilizza solo materia prima di alta qualità, resistenza e durata. Le 3 leghe di alluminio utilizzate (7001-7075-6013) sono tutte temperate e vengono fornite solo da partner certificati. L elevata qualità del Carbonio utilizzato nei bastoni FIZAN garantisce una perfetta combinazione di leggerezza e resistenza. ANTISHOCK (brevettato) Il sistema Antishock ON-OFF utilizzato e brevettato da FIZAN è il più leggero e semplice sul mercato. Assorbe le vibrazioni che si possono trasmettere durante le escursioni. HANDLES and STRAPS As with all aspects of production, FIZAN is continuously searching to improve design, functionality and comfort. This can be well demonstrated with the attention give to the ergonomic handles and straps used throughout the range where only the best lightweight and soft touch materials can be found. On trekking, lightweight and comfort is normal, while Nordic benefits from the easy use on-off FR strap which is a patented FIZAN feature gives easy functional use without the use of metal springs found on competitors products. ROTELLE, PUNTALI e TAPPI Come le ruote per un auto, le punte sono molto importanti in un bastone da passeggio; per questa ragione FIZAN presta la massima attenzione alla forma della punta per un perfetto utilizzo su asfalto, terra, roccia, neve e ghiaccio. Tutti i puntali in metallo duro hanno una durezza di 73-75 Hrc (quando la norma Iso 6508 richiede un minimo di 50 Hrc). I tappi in gomma speciale garantiscono una tenuta ottimale sull asfalto e attutiscono le vibrazioni. BASKETS, TIPS and PADS Tips are a very important part of a walking pole; for this reason, FIZAN is very careful to ensure that the shape of the tip for a perfect use on all types of terrain including asphalt, rock, snow and ice. All carbide tips have a hardness of 73-75 Hrc (when Iso 6508 requires a minimum of 50 Hrc). The special pavement tip accessory gives comfort on asphalt through reduction vibrations while at the same time given greater grip. SISTEMA di BLOCCAGGIO FLEXY (brevettato) [Sistema interno] Il sistema di bloccaggio interno è sicuro, non si deteriora, non appesantisce il bastone e mantiene un bilanciamento ottimale durante la camminata, evitando spiacevoli e pericolosi appigli che invece la maggior parte dei sistemi esterni può rappresentare. Molti dei bastoni telescopici prodotti da FIZAN utilizzano il collaudato sistema FLEXY. Il perno in alluminio leggero ed il suo espansore in Delrin (by Dupont) garantiscono una tenuta sicura e costante in tutte le situazioni possibili. Con uno sforzo minimo in chiusura si ottiene una tenuta molto superiore ai 100 kg, garantendo sicurezza durante l utilizzo. FLEXY LOCKING SYSTEM (patented) [Internal locking system] The inner locking system gives a variety of benefits to the user; safe and durable, lighter and more balanced during use while avoiding unpleasant and dangerous contacts that most of external locking systems could represent. Many telescopic poles produced by FIZAN use the tested FLEXY system. The aluminium pin is lightweight and the expander, made in Delrin (by Dupont), assures a safe and constant tightness during use and requires a minimal amount of strength to lock. Once closed, the holding force is very strong, reaching more than 100kg. 3
