His/her daily activities will include feeding, monitoring environmental quality, health treatment, moving fish, egg collection and evaluation of larval survival and general facilities management. He/she will also be involved in activities such as (a) evaluation of broodstock reproductive status, hormonal induction of spawning, egg collection and evaluation of egg quality and larval survival, (b) monitoring sex inversion in a stock of hermaphroditic fish using macroscopic evaluation and histological processing. Provided facilities: boordstock maintenance facility with 32 tanks of volumes ranging between 2 and 35 m3. Wet lab for the collection and evaluation of egg production and viability. In particular, marine diatoms share one fifth of global carbon fixation and therefore molecular mechanisms underlie in carbon acquisitions, assimilations, and controls of carbon acquisition are of great interest in marine eco-physiology. In our laboratory, molecular mechanisms of controlling carbon metabolism in response to changes in environmental factors, such as CO2 concentration, ph, and trace metals are studied. Any candidates who have experiences in nucleic acid and protein science and plant physiological study would be competent to the work here.
