People generally claim 2.0 when there is an improvement important enough to constitute a real quantum leap upward. And True Earth, in it s small, and once again before all the others, did it. Let us start with two no: They are not oil colors soluble in water They are not acrylics with retarding additives Formulations of this kind already exist on the market, and have not proved satisfactory indeed. And here at True Earth, we don t want to copy the others, we want more. We invest heavily in research, and we are proud to say that this is achieved entirely thanks to raw materials from Italian companies, and their ability to innovate and be creative in full respect of nature and health. We gave you a little taste of this new technology with DARK AGEING SDW and STEEL PLATE SDW. Two adjustments of formula, to make those products more practical to their usual tasks. Now we go. RUST INTENSE SDW(Slow Drying Waterbased) These new shades of rust, not only are really soft as oil paints, not only have no solvents, but the color rendition is fantastic. Every product encloses different, because the saturation with which we spread them it changes the tone, something hitherto unthinkable for acrylics or other products based on water. They have a blending, softness, purity, that we are not ashamed to say best of any oil or enamel. We reiterate finesse, no lumps or impurities, due to the absence of those pigments that are the basis of oil products / enamel / acrylics on the market. The coloring of our products is instead given by microscopic resin dyes of new technology. Product appearance: it is a brand new and exclusive formula of resin in aqueous base. Fluid as fresh from the bottle, if left in a container tend to thicken slowly to assume the density of an oil color. In this state they remain usable for more hours, depending on the temperature and the amount, and possibly made fluid again with a waterdrop. Use them both in the fluid state, for very long streaking and blended staining and glazes, or thickened. Spread them on both dry surfaces or moistened with water, both with dry or wet brushes, depending on the desired degree of blending. Once spread on the model the drying time is much longer compared with an acrylic, and much shorter than an oil color. That depends essentially on the thickness stretched, on an average dry to the touch in 10-20 minutes, and completely in a few hours. When dry they are perfectly solid and durable. Alternatively to the brush, with airbrush they are clean and flowy, even without any dilution. If so, use water. Or -but only for the airbrush- an acrylic thinner. Anyway thinning will accelerate drying. The final look is semi-opaque, and a little more covering than the fresh product. They are completely not aggressive on paints, you do not need a transparent protective coat neither before nor after. Base color: they lie on any type of color, acrylic or solvent-based, and as you know matt colors will be more absorbent, and glossy ones more slippery with filters. The difference with Structured Filters is a longer drying time, and increased shading. Rust Intense SDW are pure colors, while Structured Filters create irregular patterns. SDW Color-Filters are best suited for leaks and streaks, and pure, shaded stains. Si parla in genere di 2.0 quando c è un salto di qualità tanto importante da costituire un vero e proprio balzo verso l alto. E True Earth, nel suo piccolo, ed ancora una volta prima di tutti gli altri, l ha fatto. Iniziamo con due no : non sono colori ad olio solubili in acqua - non sono colori acrilici additivati da un ritardante Tra l altro formulazioni di questo genere esistono già in commercio, e non si sono rivelate granchè soddisfacenti. A noi di True Earth non piace copiare, vogliamo di più. Investiamo molto nella ricerca, e siamo fieri di dire che questo risultato è ottenuto interamente grazie a materie prime di aziende italiane, ed alla loro capacità creativa e di innovare nel pieno rispetto della natura e della nostra salute. Abbiamo dato un piccolo assaggio di questa nuova tecnologia con INVECCHIAMENTO SCURO SDW e STEEL PLATE SDW. Due aggiustamenti di formula, per rendere quei prodotti più pratici all uso che in genere se ne fa. Adesso si parte. RUGGINE INTENSA SDW (Slow Drying Waterbased = Lenta Asciugatura in Base Acquosa) Questi nuovi toni di ruggine, non solo sono veramente morbidi come colori ad olio, non solo basta l acqua per sfumarli, ma la resa cromatica è fantastica. Ogni prodotto ne racchiude diversi, perché la saturazione con cui li stendiamo ne muta il tono, cosa fino ad ora impensabile per acrilici od altri prodotti in base acqua. Hanno sfumabilità, morbidezza, purezza, che non ci vergognamo a dire migliori di qualunque olio o smalto. Ribadiamo finezza, no grumi o impurità, dovute all assenza di quei pigmenti macinati che sono alla base dei prodotti olio / smalto / acrilico normalmente in commercio. La colorazione dei nostri prodotti è invece data da microscopiche resine coloranti di nuova tecnologia. L aspetto dei prodotti : si tratta di nuovissime ed esclusive formule di resina in base acquosa. Fluidi densi appena tolti dal flacone, se lasciati in un recipiente tendono ad addensarsi lentamente fino ad assumere l aspetto di un colore ad olio. In questo stato rimangono utilizzabili per più ore, a seconda della temperatura e della quantità, ed eventualmente resi di nuovo fluidi da un poco d acqua. Si utilizzano a piacere sia allo stato fluido, per colature molto lunghe, macchiature sfumate e velature, che allo stato addensato. Si stendono e si lavorano sia su superfici asciutte o inumidite con acqua, che con pennelli asciutti o bagnati, a seconda del grado di sfumatura voluto. Una volta stesi sul modello i tempi di asciugatura completa sono molto più lunghi di un prodotto acrilico, e molto più brevi di un colore ad olio. Dipendono essenzialmente dallo spessore steso, in media asciutti al tatto in 10/20 minuti, e completamente in qualche ora. Quando asciutti sono perfettamente solidi e resistenti. In alternativa al pennello, ad aerografo sono puliti e scorrevolissimi, anche senza alcuna diluizione. Nel caso, utilizzare acqua. Oppure ma solo per l aerografo- diluenti per acrilici. In ogni caso la diluizione accelera molto l asciugatura. L aspetto finale è semi-opaco, e un poco più coprente rispetto al prodotto fresco. Non intaccano le vernici, non servono trasparenti protettivi ne prima ne dopo. Base di colore : si stendono su qualunque tipo di colore acrilico o a solvente, e come sapete i colori opachi saranno più assorbenti, e quelli lucidi più scivolosi nei confronti dei filtri. La differenza con i Filtri Strutturati è un più lungo tempo di asciugatura, quindi una maggiore sfumabilità. Sono colori puri, mentre i Filtri Strutturati creano dei leggeri pattern irregolari. I Filtri-Colore SDW sono più adatti a lunghe colature sfumate e macchie molto sfumate. Poi stendere i filtri RUGGINE INTENSA SDW sia con aerografo che superfici umide o asciutte, e tirare le colature con pennelli sia asciutti che bagnati. a pennello, e sia su Ulteriori possibilità di utilizzo : colature con pennello umido per sfumature leggere, aerografati senza diluizione alla minima pressione possibile per una fine puntinatura, e macchiatura estesa su una superficie bagnata.
Let a drop of a RUST INTENSE color at your taste get denser for half an hour or more, then remix it a bit. Spread thick stains.
