This child is dependent on all activities of daily living. He has been attending occupational therapy for one year and six months now. So far he has partially attained neck control.

He began attending therapy one year and six months ago, he could not stand or feed himself, and after this period of therapy he is now able to stand by himself and feed, he is still on the process of being trained on walking. NAME: R. K. AGE: 10 RESIDENCE: kiguchwa DIAGNOSIS: cerebral palsy Progress. She is the 2 nd born in the family, of 3 siblings. She has problems with her gait, sight, speech and hearing. She is dependent on all ADLs. She has been attending occupational therapy to train her on being independent. She is now able to feed herself involves in play activities with other kids. NOME: R. K. ETA ': 10 anni RESIDENZA:Kiguchwa DIAGNOSI: Paralisi cerebrale PROGRESSO: la bambina è la seconda di una famiglia di 3 fratelli. Ha problemi con l andatura, con la vista, parola e con l udito. E dipendente da tutte le ADL. Ha frequentato la terapia per addestrare il suo di essere indipendente. Lei ora è in grado di nutrire se stessa coinvolge in attività di gioco con altri bambini. 8. He began attending clinic in September 2011. He had not attained neck control at one year when he began the clinic, and after a period of one year six months he has fully attained neck control and partially attained sitting.

Ad un anno non riusciva a controllare il movimento del collo, dopo un periodo di un anno e sei mesi di terapia ha raggiunto pienamente il controllo del collo e riesce a stare seduto. 9. NAME: S. M. AGE: 13 RESIDENCE: Athwana DIAGNOSIS: right hemiparesis secondary to meningitis Progress. He is the 5 th born in a family of six. He acquired meningitis at 7 months leaving him with the right side weakness. He began attending this clinic one year six months ago; he had not started walking and could not use his right side for any activity. Currently after this continued period of therapy he is walking, can use his hands bilaterally though the right side is weak. He is awaiting a walking frame for better support during walking and school placement. Nome: S. M. ETA ': 13 anni RESIDENZA: Athwana DIAGNOSI: emiparesi destra secondaria alla meningite PROGRESSO. AGE: 18 RESIDENCE: Akaiga DIAGNOSIS: cerebral palsy secondary to meningitis Progress. He is the last born in a family of six. He acquired this condition at the age of 3yrs. He began attending therapy in September 2011. By this time he had not attained sitting, nor could he use his hands. After a period of seven months he could sit by himself without support. Two months later he was able to use his hand s for feeding. He is on the process of being trained on walking. NOME: Ezechiele Kailikia Età: 18 anni RESIDENZA: Akaiga DIAGNOSI: paralisi cerebrale secondario alla meningite PROGRESSO: E l ultimo di sei fratelli. Ha contratto la malattia all'età di 3anni. Ha iniziato a frequentare la terapia nel settembre 2011. Fino ad allora non riusciva a stare seduto da solo se non con l ausilio di un sostegno. Due mesi dopo era in grado di usare la mano sinistra per mangiare. Ora sta imparando a camminare.

He enrolled in the clinic one year six months ago. He had not attained neck control by this time and could not use his hands for any activity. He has currently attained neck control and can use his hands for grasping though not fine grasp. NOME: Fineo Mutethia ETA ': 7 anni RESIDENZA: Amatu DIAGNOSI: paralisi cerebrale PROGRESSO: E il secondo figlio. E entrato nella clinica un anno e mezzo fa. Non riusciva a controllare il movimento del collo e ad usare le mani per qualsiasi attività. Ora riesce a controllare i movimenti del collo e ad usare le mani per afferrare gli oggetti. 12. NAME: P. M. AGE: 13 RESIDENCE kamarima (Mikinduri) DIAGNOSIS: cerebral palsy secondary to meningitis Progress: She is the daughter of Mary and Zachary who passed away seven years ago. She is the 5 th born and has a twin brother in the family who is okay. She began therapy in September 2011, when she had problems maintaining sitting position. Currently she is able to sit independently, is being trained on walking and home program. NOME: P- M. ETA ': 13 anni RESIDENZA: Kamarima (Mikinduri) DIAGNOSI: paralisi cerebrale dovuta alla meningite Progresso: E la quinta figlia della famiglia (ha un fratello gemello che pero non ha contratto la malattia). Quando ha iniziato la terapia nel settembre 2011 aveva problemi a mantenere la posizione da seduta. Dopo la terapia è in grado di sedersi autonomamente. 13. NAME: J. M. AGE: 13 RESIDENCE: Athwana DIAGNOSIS: cerebral palsy (right hemiparesis) Progress. He is the son of Beth and Joseph, he is the 1 st born in a family of 5. He began attending therapy in September 2011. He had not attained walking and could not use his right side. AGE: 9 RESIDENCE: Kiau DIAGNOSIS: regressed milestones secondary to meningitis Progress: She stays with her grandmother; she regressed in milestones at t age of 4 after attacks by convulsions. She was later not able to walk properly from there and after continuous therapy sessions she was able to maintain balance during walking. NOME: D. N. ETÀ: 9 anni RESIDENZA: Kiau Diagnosi: regresso nelle tappe secondarie dovute alla meningite Progresso: vive con la nonna, ha iniziato a regredire all età di 4 anni dopo gli attacchi di convulsioni. He began attending therapy at Mikinduri in September 2011, he had not attained neck control by then and after continued therapy session has showed tremendous improvements. He has now attained full neck control and can sit for a short period without support. NOME: K. M. Ha contratto questa condizione durante il parto, dopo che la madre ha avuto un travaglio prolungato. Quando ha iniziato a frequentare la terapia a ottobre 2011, non riusciva a controllare il movimento del collo, ora invece ha parzialmente raggiunto il controllo del collo.
