Anno scolastico 2016-2017 Classe V A PROGRAMMA DI INGLESE Metodo In classe si è sempre fatto regolarmente uso della lingua inglese, per favorire la capacità di esprimersi in modo naturale, scorrevole e corretto. L approccio ai testi, i rimandi alla storia e alle opere artistiche si sono intesi come momento di arricchimento in ugual misura culturale e linguistico. I contenuti del programma sono stati organizzati proseguendo il percorso iniziato in terza, teso a fornire un panorama significativo della cultura inglese fino agli anni 60. Lo studio della letteratura è stato improntato sulla centralità del testo, dando ampio spazio all analisi di brani significativi, curando l acquisizione degli strumenti di analisi e la capacità di rieleborazione critica. Si è cercato di far apprezzare allo studente il messaggio del testo letterario, la sua struttura e organizzazione, le sue caratteristiche stilistiche, la sua rilevanza attuale. Da qui si è ampliato l orizzonte dando rilievo ai collegamenti fra produzione letteraria, aspetti biografici dell autore, contesto storico- sociale e movimenti artistici ad essi contemporanei. Zanichelli Nel corso delle vacanze estive dell ultimo anno gli studenti hanno letto in versione originale : J. Joyce, Dubliners (The Dead), ed. a scelta; G. Orwell, Animal Farm, ed. Penguin Altri strumenti: Materiali da Internet (documenti, materiale iconografico, documentari), presentazioni in ppt e film in lingua originale hanno offerto ulteriori opportunità di riflessione. I brani dei testi in adozione sono stati integrati con altri caricati nella sezione didattica del registro di classe online. La classe ha visitato la mostra David Bowie is (Bologna, MAMBO, novembre 2016) realizzata dal Victoria and Albert Museum di Londra. Nelle verifiche orali sono intervenuti anche gli aspetti legati alla pronuncia e alla scioltezza dell esposizione. 1
