In questo modo è più facile rimuovere le pieghe più difficili. Verificare il livello di riempimento del serbatoio dell acqua. Premere più volte il pulsante spray per inumidire il capo da stirare. COLPO DI VAPORE Questa funzione permette di emettere un getto di vapore per rimuovere le pieghe più difficili. Riempire d acqua il ferro. Ruotate il selettore di temperature in posizione MAX. La luce pilota si spegne quando la temperature selezionata viene raggiunta. Il ferro da stiro è pronto all uso. Premere il tasto per il getto di vapore. Il vapore penetrerà nel capo ammorbidendo le pieghe. Attendere alcuni secondi prima di premere di nuovo il tasto per il getto di vapore. FUNZIONE VAPORE VERTICALE La funzione vapore verticale può essere usata quando si tiene il ferro in posizione verticale, per eliminare le pieghe da capi appesi, tende ecc. Non puntare mai il getto di vapore verso le persone.
PRIMO UTILIZZO 1. Rimuovere dalla scatola. 2. Rimuovere gli eventuali adesivi o la pellicola di protezione dalla piastra. La prima volta che si utilizza il ferro, si potrebbe notare la fuoriuscita di fumo che tuttavia scompare dopo poco tempo. SCELTA DELL ACQUA Questo ferro può essere utilizzato con semplice acqua di rubinetto. Se nella vostra zona l acqua è particolarmente ricca di calcio si consiglia di usare acqua distillata o demineralizzata. Non utilizzare sostanze chimiche disincrostanti o altri liquidi per riempire il serbatoio. UTILIZZO DELL APPARECCHIO Riempimento del serbatoio dell acqua. 1. Rimuovere la spina dalla presa di corrente prima di riempire (o svuotare) il ferro da stiro con acqua. Posizionare il pulsante di controllo del vapore su 0 onde evitare fuoriuscite di acqua. 2. Riempire il serbatoio con acqua. Tenere l elettrodomestico in posizione inclinata e versare l acqua nell apposita apertura fino al livello massimo. 3. Riempire l elettrodomestico con normale acqua di rubinetto se lo si usa per la prima volta. Per riempire successivamente il serbatoio si può utilizzare l acqua di rubinetto. Comunque se l acqua è molto pesante, è consigliabile utilizzare acqua distillata. Non versare aceto, amido o agenti chimici disincrostanti nel serbatoio. Stiratura a secco STIRATURA A SECCO 1. Impostare il regolatore di vapore in posizione 0 (= assenza di vapore). 2. Selezionare la temperatura di stiratura consigliata (consultare la tabella riportata sotto). 3. Quando la luce pilota si spegne la temperature desiderata è raggiunta. Il ferro è pronto per l uso. STIRATURA A VAPORE 1. Verificare il livello di riempimento del serbatoio dell acqua. 2. Selezionare la temperatura di stiratura consigliata (consultare la tabella riportata sotto). 3. Selezionare la regolazione di vapore appropriata (consultare la tabella riportata sotto). Nota: il ferro inizia a produrre vapore non appena raggiunge la temperatura impostata. STIRATURA CON VAPORE EXTRA Per ancora più vapore durante la stiratura, tenere premuto il pulsante colpo di vapore. SCALDARE IL FERRO Prendete il ferro. La luce pilota si spegne. Se la temperatura della piastra è scesa sotto il livello selezionato la luce pilota si riaccenderà. Se la luce pilota non si riaccende vuol dire che la piastra è ancora alla temperature desiderata.
SELEZIONE DELLA TEMPERATURA E REGOLAZIONE DEL VAPORE 1. Posizionare il ferro in posizione verticale. 2. Per impostare la temperatura più adatta alla stiratura, ruotare il selettore della temperatura nella posizione appropriata (consultare la tabella riportata sotto). 3. Controllare sull etichetta del capo il tipo di tessuto. 4. Se non si conosce il tessuto del capo da stirare, si consiglia di stirare un angolo nascosto per determinare la temperatura più indicata. 5. Seta, lana e materiali sintetici: stirare il capo al rovescio per evitare tracce di lucido. Per evitare di macchiare il tessuto, non usare la funzione spray. 6. Iniziare a stirare i capi che richiedono una temperatura di stiratura più bassa, ad esempio i tessuti sintetici. 7. La spia della temperatura si illumina. Quando la spia si spegne è possibile cominciare a stirare. 8. Durante la stiratura, la spia della temperatura si accende regolarmente. PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE Impostare il regolatore di vapore in posizione 0, scollegare la spina dalla presa e lasciare raffreddare il ferro. Per eliminare macchie o altri residui depositati sulla piastra, utilizzare un panno umido e un detergente liquido non abrasivo. Per mantenere la piastra perfettamente liscia, evitare il contatto con oggetti metallici. Per pulire la piastra, non utilizzate pagliette, aceto o altre sostanze chimiche. Per pulire la parte superiore del ferro utilizzare un panno umido. Risciacquare regolarmente il serbatoio con acqua pulita. Dopo la pulizia, svuotare sempre il serbatoio dell acqua. COME USARE LA FUNZIONE SELF-CLEAN Usare la funzione Self-Clean ogni due settimane. Nel caso l acqua nella zona fosse particolarmente dura (ad esempio nel caso di fuoriuscita di pezzi di calcare dalla piastra quando stirate), usare la funzione Self-Clean con maggior frequenza. Verificare che l apparecchio sia scollegato dalla presa di corrente. Impostare il regolatore di vapore in posizione 0. Riempire completamente il serbatoio dell acqua. non aggiungere aceto o agenti disincrostanti nel serbatoio dell acqua. Impostare il termostato su MAX. Inserire la spina nella presa di corrente dotata di messa a terra. Scollegare l apparecchio dalla presa di corrente non appena la spia della temperatura si spegne. Tenendo il ferro sopra il lavandino, tenere premuto il pulsante Self-Clean e scuotere delicatamente il ferro avanti e indietro. In questo modo dalla piastra fuoriescono vapore e acqua bollente contenenti eventuali residui di calcare e altre impurità. Rilasciare il pulsante per la funzione anticalcare non appena il serbatoio dell acqua si svuota. Ripetere la procedura Self-Clean nel caso in cui il ferro contenga ancora molte impurità. Al termine della procedura Self-Clean Inserire la spina nella presa e fare riscaldare il ferro in modo che la piastra si asciughi perfettamente. Scollegare l apparecchio dalla presa di corrente non appena il ferro raggiunge la temperatura di stiratura impostata. Far scorrere delicatamente il ferro su un panno per eliminare eventuali macchie formatesi sulla piastra. DOPO L USO Lasciare raffreddare il ferro prima di riporlo. Posizionare il regolatore del vapore sullo 0 e scollegare il ferro. Svuotare il serbatoio dell acqua. Lasciare raffreddare il ferro in un posto sicuro. Riporre il ferro in posizione verticale, in un ambiente sicuro e asciutto.

In this way, it is easier to remove the most diffi cult creases. Check the level of the water into the tank. Press several ti me the spray butt on to damp the item to iron. STEAM SHOT The steam shot gives an extra burst of steam to help you smooth out stubborn creases and wrinkles. Fill the tank with water. Rotate the temperature control to MAX positi on. The heat indicator light turns off when desired temperature is reached. The iron is ready. Press the steam release butt on. The steam will penetrate the fabric soft ening the creases. Wait some seconds before pressing again the steam release butt on. VERTICAL STEAM SHOT This functi on is available by holding the iron upright for taking the creases out of curtains, garments on hangers etc.
FIRST USE 1. Remove the unit from the box. 2. Remove any stickers or protective covers from the soleplate. When the iron is first used, you may notice some steam being released. This is perfectly normal, and should only last a short while. WATER You can use simple tap water. If in your area water is rich in calcium you should use distilled water or demineralised water. Do not use descaling cleaners or other liquids to fill the tank. OPERATING THE APPLIANCE Filling the water tank 1. Remove the plug from the outlet before filling (or emptying) the water tank. Place the steam control to 0 in order to avoid water leaks. 2. Fill the tank with water. Keep the appliance inclined and pour the water in the dedicated opening until the maximum level. 3. Fill the appliance with tap water. In case water is really heavy, you should use distilled water. Do not add vinegar, starch, descaling cleaners into the water tank. IRONING WITHOUT STEAM 1. Set the steam control on position 0 (= no steam). 2. Select the recommended ironing temperature (see the chart below). 3. When the indicator light switches off, the desired temperature has been reached. The iron is ready to use IRONING WITH STEAM 1. Verify the water level in the tank. 2. Select the recommended ironing temperature (see the chart below). 3. Select the appropriate steam setting (see the chart below). The iron will start producing steam as soon as the selected temperature will be reached. IRONING WITH EXTRA STEAM For more steam while ironing, hold the steam shot button. HEATING UP THE IRON Take the iron. The indicator light switches off. If the temperature of the soleplate decreased under the selected level, the indicator light will light up again. If it doesn t, it means that the soleplate is still at desired temperature.
SELECTING THE TEMPERATURE AND ADJUSTEMENT OF THE STEAM 1. Position the iron upright. 2. To set the most appropriate ironing temperature, rotate the temperature control until the desired position (see the chart below). 3. Check the kind of fabric on the label of the garment. 4. If you don t know the fabric of the garment, you should iron a small hidden area to determine the most appropriate temperature. 5. Silk, wool and synthetic materials: iron on the reverse, to prevent shine. Using the spray button may stain these fabrics. 6. Start by ironing garment that require low temperature, such as synthetic fabrics 7. The temperature indicator light lights up. When it switches off you can start ironing. 8. While ironing, the temperature indicator light lights up regularly. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE Set the steam control on 0, unplug the appliance and let it cool down. To clean stains or other residuals on the soleplate, use a damp cloth and a liquid non abrasive cleaner. Take care not to damage or scratch the soleplate by allowing it to come into contact with metal objects. Do not use abrasives or scouring pads to clean the soleplate. The upper body of the iron may be wiped with a damp cloth. Regularly wash the water tank with clean water. After cleaning always empty the tank. SELF-CLEANING YOUR IRON Use the Self-Cleaning function every two weeks. If the water of your area is really heavy (e.g. if pieces of limestone comes out while ironing), use the Self-Cleaning function more often. Check that the appliance is unplugged. Set the steam control on 0. Fill completely the water tank. Do not add vinegar, or descaling cleaners into the water tank. Set the thermostat on MAX. Insert the plug into an earthed outlet. Unplug the appliance as soon as the temperature indicator light turns off. Hold the iron on the sink, hold the Self-Clean button and gently shake the iron back and forth. In this way, steam and hot water that might contain lime residues and other impurities will come out. Release the button for the cleaning function as soon as the tank is empty. Repeat the Self-Clean procedure in case the iron still contains many impurities. After the Self-Cleaning procedure Insert the plug in the outlet and let the iron heat up in order to make the soleplate dry perfectly. Unplug the appliance as soon as the iron reaches the selected ironing temperature. Gently slide the iron on a cloth to eliminate possible stains on soleplate. AFTER THE USE Let the appliance cool down before storing it. Set the steam control on 0 and unplug the appliance. Empty the water tank. Let the appliance cool down in a safe place. Store the iron upright in a safe and dry place.
