L'ospitalità e l'accoglienza davvero uniche, tipiche di questi paesi, ed il fascino ineguagliabile del deserto, completano un quadro già di per se allettante. Tornando allo show del Qatar, quest'anno si è davvero respirata l'atmosfera di alcuni anni fa, quando lo show in Qatar era uno degli appuntamenti più attesi dell'intero anno. Ospiti internazionali e presenze importanti di cavalli e proprietari dall'oman, dagli Emirati Arabi e dall'arabia Saudita, hanno arricchito, con ingredienti succulenti, un menu già ricco. 9 show and events Champion Esparto ti che hanno fatto la storia dell'allevamento in Qatar, hanno permesso, ai molteplici ospiti, di poter valutare i diversi orientamenti allevatoriali che collocano il Qatar in uno dei primi posti nello scenario del p.s.a. Tradizione e allevamento in purezza per la razza egiziana, sono le peculiarità di realtà importanti, come quelle di Al Rayyan, Al Nasser, Al Naif, ed il giovane allevamento di Sh. Mishal, fratello maggiore di Sh. Abdulaziz Al Thani. Poche realtà, come il Qatar, tengono il cavallo di pura razza egiziana tanto in primo piano e perseguono questo tipo di allevamento così tenacemente. Altrettante poche realtà hanno fatto, partendo della passione per le pure linee egiziane, un allevamento con incroci di vari linee, ottenendo risultati così importanti a livello internazionale come l'al Shaqab Stud, che si è spinto molto oltre, facendosi promotore di un progetto davvero faraonico ed avveniristico nel mondo dell'equitazione, un progetto unico ed esclusivo che porterà alla creazione di una vera e propria accademia - così sarà denominata - dedicata al cavallo in genere. But they have gone much further and promoted a colossal and futuristic project in the world of horse riding, a unique and exclusive project that will lead to the creation of a proper academy - that is what it is going to be called - devoted to the horse in general. During the presentation evening, the managers of Al Shaqab made it clear that the future development would be very ambitious and that the Academy would be ready in just eighteen months. If the embryo transfer technique had not been widely used in the Arab countries, with this project it will be regularly adopted. Se fin'ora la tecnica degli embrio-transfer, nei paesi arabi, non era ancora molto utilizzata, con questo progetto verrà diffusamente utilizzata. Ampio spazio sarà dato allo studio e la cura di patologie grazie ad una clinica all'avanguardia, alla conoscenza delle tradizioni grazie ad un museo ed a una biblioteca, ai ragazzi con corsi e scuole d'equitazione. Tornando allo show, la competizione ha visto la partecipazione di oltre centotrenta cavalli, presentati da ses thanks to a state-of-the-art laboratory, to an in-depth knowledge of traditions through a museum and a library and to children with riding course and schools. Moving back to the show, the competition saw the participation of more than 130 horses, presented by handlers from Europe and America. The jury was composed by Mrs. Elisabeth Chat (A), Mr. Walter Koch (DE), Dr. Gianmarco Aragno (IT) and H.R.H. Teresa de Borbon (ES). After the hardfought preliminary categories, where the Al Ariam Stud performed well for Arab Emirate and the Royal Cavarly stud for Oman obtaining a few places, the final champion- TUTTO ARABI 31

La giuria era composta dalla sig.ra Elisabeth Chat (A), dal sig. Walter Koch (DE), dal dr. Gianmarco Aragno (IT) e da S.A.R. Teresa de Borbon (ES). Dopo le combattute categorie preliminari dove molto bene ha fatto la Al Ariam Stud per gli Emirati Arabi e la Royal Cavarly per l'oman con alcuni piazzamenti, il campionato finale ha evidenziato il dominio quasi assoluto dei due allevamenti che maggiormente si sono mesi in mostra, parliamo dell'al Shaqab Stud (QAT) e dell'ajman Stud (UAE). Il podio riguardante le puledre è stato di totale appannaggio dell'al Shaqab Stud che ha piazzato la splendida saura *Venetzia (Versace x Giavanna), condotta splendidamente da Giacomo Capacci, sul gradino più alto ed a seguire, per il titolo di Riserva Campionessa l'altrettanto interessante *PS Rose Of Marwan (Marwan Al Shaqab x PS Rose Mahogany) presentata dall'ineguagliabile Michael Byatt. Sempre all'insegna della scuderia Al Shaqab e di due dei suoi esponenti di spicco, le top five piazzatesi a seguire, con *Adhaba Al Shaqab (x GW Natorius Starr) di proprietà dello stesso Al Shaqab Stud (QAT), e *AJ Marahel (x Hed Ab Maria) di Ajman Stud (UAE), entrambe prodotti di Marwan Al Shaqab e *Marylla (Gazal Al Shaqab x Margotka) di Abdul Mohsen bin Abdul Malek Al Shaiek. Con l'esuberanza che li contraddistingue si è svolto il campionato finale dei puledri che ha laureato Campione un altro prodotto di Marwan Al Shaqab, il tipico *Mardigras JMF (x JMF Daret) presentato da Michael Byatt per l'al Shaqab Stud (QAT). Liberty Class Puledri e Stalloni ship highlighted the total dominance of the two studs that came to the fore, the Al Shaqab Stud (QAT) and Ajman Stud (UAE). The mesmerizing Arab ladies made their entrance in the field with their usual grace. The one that dominated the competition and won the laurel and the title of Champion was *WN Eastrobession (Padron Psyche x WN Obession) presented by Michael Byatt for the Al Shaqab Stud, whereas Reserve Champion was the feminine *Deska HJE (Lumiar Amadeus x Soldateska) presented by Frank Sponle for the Ajman Stud (UAE). Top five for *White Silk (Dakar El Jamaal x KH First Prize) owned by Al Shaqab Stud, *Itlalah (Shalom Ezz x AD Omloj) owned by Royal Cavalry (Oman) and *Vajenka (Nard x Vizantia) owned by H.H. Sh.
