1 Elran Cup International A-Show by Simone Leo z photos by Irina Filsinger Il consueto e atteso appuntamento di metà agosto con lo show internazionale di classe A di Borgloon, in Belgio, ha traslocato nella vicina e graziosa Hasselt. Il concorso anche quest anno non ha deluso le attese con numerosi campioni provenienti da tutto il mondo, il pubblico delle grandi occasioni nella giornata di domenica ed il bel tempo che ha baciato il debutto in questa nuova location. 3 Reserve Fillies Pandoraah (Padrons Psyche x Bint Bey Shah) Breeder: Bob Boggs/USA Owner: Sheikh Kahled El Bagedo, Al Khaled Farm/Egypt Broek di Neji Arabians, ha messo in campo l esperienza di tanti anni per assicurare l ottimo svolgimento dello show, coadiuvati dal sig. Michael Hensen. Belli gli spettacoli offerti nelle pause della manifestazione, con rappresentazioni di vario genere. Il Belgio ha, fra le sue peculiarità, quella di avere una sequenza infinita di castelli con immensi parchi, resi rigogliosi dalle abbondanti piogge. In questa occasione la giuria avrebbe dovuto comporsi di cinque elementi ma a seguito del forfait del giudice americano Doug Dahmen sono rimasti in quattro, un grande plauso, quindi, a loro, il sig. Mohammed Machmoum dal Marocco, la sig.ra Renata Shibler dalla Svizzera, la sig.ra Titti Galliani dall Italia ed il sig. Marc Ismer dalla Germania. Le categorie preliminari sono state contrassegnate da lotte serrate come si addice ad uno show di classe A, ma the copious rain. 7 Reserve Mares Khaleifa (Kubinec x Farids Mandolin) Breeder: Osterhof Stud/Germany Owner: Osterhof Stud due classi in particolare si sono contraddistinte per i risultati finali e cioè quella delle puledre di tre anni dove la qualità complessiva era davvero incredibile tanto che dal primo al quinto posto la differenza tra i soggetti è stata di soli 2 punti e con tutte e cinque le cavalle già vincitrici in diversi show importanti e quella delle fattrici giovani che ha visto un incredibile ex-equo con i tre gradini del podio con lo stesso punteggio decisi poi dal totale in tipicità ed in movimento. 9 Reserve Stallions Imperial Baarez (PVA Kariim x BB Ora Kalilah) straight Egyptian Breeder: Imperial Egyptian Stud/USA Owner: El Farida Stud, Tarek & Ahmed Hamdy Soliman/Egypt pionato finale, nel quale su tutte vince il titolo di Campionessa la puledra di un anno Djoonam Os (Ajman Moniscione x Khaleifa) presentata magistralmente da Scott Allmann, allevata da Osterhof Stud e di proprietà francese, l Haras De Djoonam. La bella Djonam ha avuto la meglio su Pandorah (Padron Psyche x Bint Bey Shah) presentata da Schoukens Training Center, allevata da Bob Boggs e di proprietà di Al Khaled Farm dall Arabia Saudita. Per il Campionato fattrici, le protagoniste a pari merito della categoria giovani si sono poi divise il titolo. Per quest anno la cavalla è in leasing alla Scuderia Groane, doppia soddisfazione per l allevamento tedesco visto che Khaleifa è anche la mamma della Campionessa Puledre. Per il Campionato Stalloni Njem Ibn Eternity (Eternity Ibn Navarrone x Naravna) presentato da Philippe Hosay si conferma campione come già avvenuto a Menton, mettendo in mostra ancora una volta il suo splendido movimento arricchendo di un altro titolo l allevamento saudita Al Khalediah Stables. Riserva Campione Stalloni uno dei cavalli puri egiziani più famosi al mondo Imperial Bareez (Rva Karim x BB Ora Kalilah). Presentato magistralmente da Paolo Capecci, allevato dall Imperial Egyptian Stud ed ora di proprietà dell allevamento egiziano El Farida Stud, il cavallo dimostra di essere entrato davvero in condizione e di essere in forma mentalmente visti gli ottimi punteggi Venetzia is owned by the Al Shaqab Stud (Qatar). The Reserve title went to Khaleifa (Kubinec x Farids Mandolin) presented by Scott Allmann, bred by Gestut Osterhof which is also her owner. This year Khaleifa has been leased to Scuderia Groane, so it was a double reward for the German breeder, considering that she is also the dam of the Champion Filly. As for the Stallions Championship, Njem Ibn Eternity (Eternity Ibn Navarrone x Naravna) presented by Philippe Hosay confirms his title of champion he obtained in Menton, displaying once again his wonderful movement and adding another title to the list of prizes obtained by the Al Khalediah Stables.
