2 REGULATIONS ÓPERA ESTUDIO 2015 REGULATIONS ÓPERA DE TENERIFE 2014/ The Tenerife Ópera Estudio is open to singers of all nationalities. 2. Only singers born on or after 1 January 1983 can audition REPERTOIRE 3. Each applicant must prepare for the audition: 2 Arias of their own choice, in different musical styles, one of which with Recitativo. The arias and extracts of the chosen role from Le nozze di Figaro by W.A. Mozart (integral version, without any cuts). All the arias and extracts must be performed from memory. The numbers refer to the edition of Bärenreiter. Each participant can prepare more than a role. Roles: Rol Il Conte di Almaviva Arias obligatorias Scena III, Recitativo Che novtà! Candidates must send to the Secretary of the Ópera Estudio at the address Auditorio de Tenerife, Avenida Constitución, 1; Santa Cruz de Tenerife (España), the following documents: Application form, fully completed. Photocopy of identity card or passport.

4 2 recent photos Artistic and educational biography. A copy of the vocal scores of their own-choice arias. Copy of the receipt of the payment of 80 euros for Opera Estudio de La Ópera de Tenerife on: IBAN code: ES BIC code: CAIXESBBXXX 5. Applications can be sent also by mail at the following address: info@operadetenerife.com specifying as subject of the mail: Application Ópera Estudio The deadline of receipt of applications will be at of May 20th, both for post-marked mail and applications. Only applications with all documents listed in paragraph 5 above will be accepted. The city chosen for the audition can not be changed. No change in the choice of selected arias or the choice of role will be permitted alter May 20th. 7. The artistic direction will decide the order of auditioning. 8. The result of the auditions will be announced only to the applicants selected for the production of Le nozze di Figaro. A mail address will be provided for unsuccessful candidates for any questions about the results of the auditions. 9. The artistic direction reserves the right to stop an audition at any time. 10. The decisions of the artistic direction are final. 11. If the artistic direction consider that no applicant is suitable for one or more of the roles in Le nozze di Figaro, then further auditions may be organised. 12. The chosen singers will sign a contract to join the Ópera Estudio Project, which will take place from 7th September 2015 until 25th October 2015, at the Tenerife Auditorium. Once participation has been confirmed by an artist, withdrawal shall result in the reimbursement of the expenses caused. 13. Every chosen singer will have a scholarship of euros. Travel and lodging for the whole period will be paid and organized by the Opera of Tenerife. 14. In case of extra performances, the singers will be paid a fee. 15. Participants selected for past editions of the Opera Studio Tenerife are not allowed to audition again. 16. The selected participants of the 2015 Opera Studio Tenerife are not allowed to participate to the 2015 III International singing competition Opera de Tenerife.

5 AUDITIONS 17. The auditions for the Ópera Estudio will take place at: Bologna: Monday 25st & Tuesday 26st May 2015 Teatro Comunale di Bologna Largo Respighi, Bologna, Italia Madrid: Thursday 28st & Friday 29 May 2015 Escuela Superior de Canto de Madrid Calle de San Bernardo, Madrid Tenerife: Monday 1st June 2015 Auditorio de Tenerife Avda. Constitución, Santa Cruz de Tenerife CHOSEN CANDIDATES 18. The chosen candidates will have to: Attend all the lessons and activities of the Ópera Estudio program. Join and participate to the eventual complementary activities of the Ópera Estudio. The organiser of this Opera Estudio guarantees 4 performances of Le Nozze di Figaro in Auditorio de Tenerife on 22, 23, 24 and 25 October 2015, and 3 performances in Teatro Communale di Bologna on 27, 28, and 29 May 2016, with rehearsals beginning on 17 May OTHERS 19. The application implies the acceptance of the rules and the decisions of the Artistic Direction, which are final. 20. In case of controversy, the valid text of these rules will be the Spanish one.
