Italia Design Center è una realtà multidisciplinare e multiservizi, nata per perseguire un obiettivo ambizioso: trasformare le idee, le esigenze e le sfide dei propri clienti in prodotti innovativi. Questo avviene a diversi livelli: dalla fornitura di soluzioni CAX/PDM in partnership con IBM e di soluzioni specialistiche per i diversi settori di produzione inclusi il training del personale e la relativa assistenza tecnica, alla progettazione, ingegnerizzazione e prototipazione di qualsiasi tipologia di prodotto. Dalla consulenza agli studi di fattibilità, dal co-design alla ricerca di nuovi materiali e processi: tutto in un unico centro specializzato, fra i pochi in Italia in grado di gestire ogni fase della progettazione e dello sviluppo, con evidenti vantaggi in termini di tempi, costi, versatilità e personalizzazione. C.S.R. Italia Design Center is a company that offers a variety of services in an array of different areas: the company was born with the ambitious goal of transforming the needs, ideas and challenges of its clients into state of the art products. This process is carried out at different stages: first we provide, thanks to a partnership with IBM, CAX/PDM solutions and other specialized solutions for the different production sectors, including training and technical assistance, designing, engineering and prototyping of any kind of product. Our unique specialized center is among the few in Italy to be able to handle each and every phase from designing to developing, including feasibility studies, co-design and research of new materials and processes. With the whole process carried out in house we can offer cuts in costs and time together with a high degree of personalization and versatility.

storia The legacy Il primo nucleo di C.S.R. Italia Design Center è nato nel 1984, con il nome di CAD SERVICE: una realtà che si è posta immediatamente all'avanguardia, sia per gli strumenti utilizzati, sia per le metodologie e gli obiettivi. Fra i primi studi di progettazione italiani ad utilizzare sistemi informatici altamente tecnologici, CAD SERVICE ha iniziato subito a progettare attrezzature per clienti riconosciuti a livello internazionale - come il Gruppo Porsche - ed è stato ben presto selezionato da IBM come IBM/PLM BUSINESS PARTNER per la diffusione e il supporto di soluzioni CAX/PDM. Negli anni successivi, C.S.R. Italia Design Center ha affiancato alla progettazione e alla fornitura di sistemi anche lo sviluppo di soluzioni Internet, il graphic design e la comunicazione pubblicitaria. Dal 2003 l azienda si è trasferita nella nuova struttura a Fiume Veneto: un'architettura innovativa e funzionale, come le idee che prendono forma al suo interno. C.S.R. Italia Design Center was first founded in 1984 with the name of CAD SERVICE: the company used modern equipment and approach to reach its target putting itself among the most ground-breaking companies at the time. CAD SERVICE was one of the first companies in Italy to use advanced IT solutions for its high class international clients like Porsche Group, and has been selected since the beginning by IBM as IBM/PLM BUSINESS PARTNER for support and distribution of CAX/PDM solutions. In the following years C.S.R. Italia Design Center also started to develop internet solutions, graphic design and advertising besides other traditional activities. In 2003 the company moved to its new location in Fiume Veneto: a functional and pioneering architecture like the ideas that come to life inside of it.

Le aree di competenza della struttura spaziano dallo styling all'industrializzazione, dal reverse engineering allo sviluppo di prototipi estetici e funzionali, fino alla realizzazione di piccole pre-serie, anche grazie ad accordi con realtà specializzate nella creazione di stampi. The added value of the engineering method of C.S.R. Italia Design Center is the ability to create a fusion between the creativity of the designer and the new technologies in terms of engineering and development. The department is responsible for a range of activities that goes from styling to industrialization, from reverse technology to development of functional prototypes to the making of a pre-production sample thanks to partnerships with companies specialized in moulding. The company also offers the possibility to manage the creation of the name and logo, market communication and personalization of the product all in one process, from the original idea to the on-line production.

metodo method Il metodo di lavoro di CSR Italia Design Center si può visualizzare come un flusso continuo, nel quale le diverse fasi, dalla creazione, allo sviluppo e all'ottimizzazione di un prodotto si susseguono, con caratteristiche simili a quelle di un processo industriale. Semplificando, si può dire che l'idea iniziale "entra" in C.S.R. Italia Design Center sotto forma di semplice schizzo o di brief, viene elaborata in un progetto 2D, trasformata in un modello virtual 3D sul quale vengono effettuate tutte le possibili simulazioni e valutazioni. Infine, sempre all interno della sede di Fiume Veneto, l idea viene concretizzata in un modello estetico, anche in scala 1:1, pronto per la presentazione al cliente, sul quale verranno effettuate le successive valutazioni, modifiche e ottimizzazioni per proseguire poi attraverso la fase di ingegnerizzazione. Tutto questo in tempi estremamente rapidi - nell'ordine di qualche settimana - e soprattutto in un'atmosfera di comunicazione e scambio diretto fra tutte le competenze coinvolte nel progetto: dal designer agli specialisti in engineering, dagli aspetti stilistici a quelli funzionali, produttivi e di mercato. The working method at C.S.R. Italia Design Center can be described as a permanent flow, in which the different stages of the creation of a product resemble an industrial process: the idea borns into C.S.R. Italia Design Center as a draft, it s first elaborated into a 2D project and then transformed into a virtual 3D model on which all possible simulation and evaluation are done. To finish up the process the idea is made into a 1:1 scale model ready to be presented to the client. The model will then be evaluated, modified and optimised working together with the client to go on to the next stage which is engineering. The whole process is extremely fast it only take a few weeks- thanks also to the continuous communication exchange and feedback existing among all parts involved in the project: designers, engineering specialists, market and production experts, styling and functionality professionals.

Alcuni dei prodotti progettati o sviluppati da C.S.R.
