Caso studio Partner Sloveno EUSUS Energy self-sufficient street lamp Short summary (up to 200 characters): Public lighting is an area that recently is experiencing radical changes. New trends in the use of LED lamps are slowly but surely penetrating into our environments. EUSUS energy self-sufficient street lamp for its battery power exploits two types of renewable energy sources at the same time: it consists of a pole, on which is thin film photovoltaic (PV) module, at the top there is a smaller wind turbine. Both RES produce energy for the battery, which is located in the foundation, from where the LED lamps is powered.

Public lighting requires a certain autonomy of operation of each lamp, especially when it is not connected to the electric network. In the past have already begun the experiments with so-called solar lamps, which have been using PV modules for its operation. In winter time, when there was not available enough solar energy, their autonomy of operation has been significantly reduced and did not achieve sufficiently high standards. The movement of air masses that generate sufficient force to drive smaller windmills is increasing because of the high temperature fluctuations. Street lamps, which in addition of solar energy also take advantage of wind energy, represent an appropriate development, especially in areas of limited electrical installation, in areas where it is not allowed to be fitted with electrical installation and in hard accessible areas.
Caso studio Partner Sloveno EUSUS Energy self-sufficient street lamp Impact on the economy (up to 1000 characters): EUSUS lamp is still in the development stage. Despite to that, in Velenje are already 14 of such lamps, of which 12 are upgraded with an additional PV module that improves the autonomy of operation. At this stage the individual EUSUS is capable of powering an additional 5 street lamps (power of 35 W) what additionally improves the overall economics of the lamp. A big advantage of EUSUS is the use of passive infrared movement sensors, which recognize the moving persons and objects and react to changes of heat (infrared technology) up to a distance of 10 m. Energy savings are up to 80 %.

I passi verso il WP 4.1.3 Considerazioni preliminari Il progetto Manargy ha consentito di avviare un gruppo di lavoro interno/esterno che in quasi tre anni ha consolidato competenze per fornire assistenza tecnica specialistica E una eredità del progetto europeo che va messa in valore La costituzione di una nuova Agenzia per l energia provinciale sul modello di quelle esistenti (AEES Modena, ALESA Chieti ) è stata ritenuta non opportuna nel contesto economico attuale
Cosa si può fare dalla primavera 2014, dopo la chiusura del progetto Manargy?

Ipotesi alternativa all Agenzia per l Energia Nello specifico: Coordina i comuni su progetti condivisi Organizza gare per le ESCO utilizzando strumenti quali: - Energy Performance Contracts (EPC) - Dialogo competitivo - Project financing per servizi con diritto di prelazione (art.278 del Regolamento del codice degli appalti)
Ipotesi alternativa all Agenzia per l Energia Inoltre: Svolge la funzione di Sportello energia (azione PAES) impegnandosi in: informazione sul nuovo Regolamento Energetico e la certificazione energetica degli edifici; informazione per le aziende del settore produttivo (promozione audit energetici); formazione sulle buone pratiche di risparmio energetico nel settore residenziale assistenza al cittadino per la riqualificazione energetica del patrimonio privato e adozione di energie rinnovabili attivazione di convenzioni con Istituti di credito locali per il finanziamento di interventi di risparmio energetico (ex finanziamento green, ora scomparso.) assistenza al reperimento di finanziamenti e mutui.
