Selection procedure for the MASTER IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (LM-77, 2-year postgraduate degree) AY 2017/18 To enrol in the Master in Business Administration it is necessary to satisfy minimum curriculum requirements and have adequate knowledge of general management at undergraduate level. The application procedure is different for students who have an Italian Bachelor degree and students who have a foreign Bachelor degree. Therefore, hereafter, we report the admission prerequisites and procedure separately. Graduating students must complete their study plan and graduate within the enrolment deadline set by Unito. English language knowledge, at least level B2 CEFR (or equivalent level of different certificates), properly certified. A motivation letter written in English. The Selection Committee will evaluate the candidates requirements on the basis of the documents submitted with the application and decide whether to admit or reject or admitted under condition in case they need to verify the language skills and/or the basic knowledge in general management. If admitted under condition, applicants may be considered for an interview done in person or via Skype. In case of missing English certification, candidates are required to prove their language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) during the interview. Warning: All graduating students admitted to the Business Administration programme must complete their study plan and graduate within the enrolment deadline set by Unito. Exception: students incoming from the European School of Management Italia are considered as satisfying all the entry requirements, but they are request to submit their application as well as the other candidates, as described in this section. Enrollment dates. Candidates can submit their application (only one) in three different time windows: 1st application window: from June 15, 2017 to July 2, 2017, open to all students 2nd application window: from July 4, 2017 to July 16, 2017, open to all students
3rd application window: from July 18, 2017 to July 31, 2017, open only to students belonging to the University of Torino). The Selection Committee examines each application and notifies applicants about the results, according to the following calendar: 1st application window: mid July, 2017 2nd application window: end of July and/or first week of September 3rd application window: first week of September The application results will be published on the Department of Management webpage (www.unito.it) and the Master in Business Administration webpage (http://www.businessadministration.unito.it/do/home.pl) Admitted applicants can complete the enrolment process, following the instructions available on the University webpage, while applicants admitted under condition must take the oral test. Interview. If some of the requirements are not met and the Selection Committee requires an interview, it will be scheduled on three different sessions (exact dates to be announced): 1st session: mid July 2nd session: end of July and/or first week of September 3rd session: mid September. B) STUDENTS WITH A FOREIGN BACHELOR DEGREE Entry requirements These candidates can enrol if they satisfy the following requirements: English language knowledge, at least level B2 CEFR (or equivalent level of different certificates), properly certified. Undergraduate degree and adequate knowledge of the basics of business management. A motivation letter written in English. The Selection Committee will evaluate the candidates requirements on the basis of the documents submitted with the application and decide whether to admit or reject or admitted under condition.
If admitted under condition, applicants may be considered for an interview or alternative assessment. The interview, done in person or via Skype, aims at ascertaining the applicants motivations as well as their general management knowledge. In case of missing English certification, candidates are required to prove their language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) during the interview. Uncompleted applications will not be considered. Enrollment dates. From March 1, 2017 to November 30, 2017. The Selection Committee examines each application and notifies applicants about the results. Admitted students will be assisted by the International Students Office to complete the enrolment process, while applicants admitted under condition must first take the interview. Interview. If candidates are asked for an interview, they will be scheduled on different sessions in June, July, September, October and November (exact dates to be announced and notified by email to each candidate). VERY IMPORTANT: classes start September 25, 2017. We kindly suggest proceeding with the enrolment as soon as possible, preferably within the end of July. Class attendance is highly recommended.
