1 TOR VERGATA Corsi di lingua e cultura italiana per studenti stranieri all'università di Roma "Tor Vergata" Summer Courses in Italian Language and Culture for Foreign Students at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata" Per tutte le informazioni consultare l'indirizzo o scrivere a info.corsiestivi@uniroma2.it For information consult our website or contact us at info.corsiestivi@uniroma2.it) La Facoltà di Lettere e Filosofia dell Università degli Studi di Roma "Tor Vergata", propone corsi estivi di lingua e cultura italiana per stranieri che vogliano avvicinarsi allo studio dell italiano o migliorarne la competenza e, allo stesso tempo, seguire percorsi turistico-culturali alla scoperta di Roma e del Lazio. L intento dei corsi è quello di offrire la possibilità di studiare la lingua italiana o di approfondirne la conoscenza all interno di un contesto universitario in grado di qualificare percorsi didattici di orientamento specialistico ma anche valorizzare il territorio laziale e le sue ricchezze naturali, storiche e artistiche. Gli studenti potranno scegliere di frequentare, nel periodo compreso tra l 11 giugno e il 5 agosto 2007, uno o più corsi attivati a seconda della propria competenza linguistica. Il programma per gli studenti principianti (A1, A2 European Framework) prevede un indirizzo unico della durata di due settimane che comprende la frequenza di corsi di lingua, per un totale di 42 ore di lezioni frontali, che si svolgeranno presso le aule dell Università di Roma Tor Vergata, e la partecipazione ad attività culturali e itinerari turistici che permetteranno agli studenti di venire in contatto con la vita del campus universitario e le realtà cittadine del territorio di Roma e del Lazio, per un totale di 28 ore.

2 Il programma per gli studenti con competenza linguistica medioavanzata (B1, B2, C1, C2 European Framework) prevede la possibilità di scelta tra i seguenti indirizzi specialistici: Archeologia; Arte e Storia; Arti visive del XX e del XXI secolo; Cultura e Territorio. Ciascun indirizzo ha una durata di due settimane e prevede la frequenza di corsi di lingua, per un totale di 30 ore di lezioni frontali, e la partecipazione a dieci itinerari turistico-culturali nel territorio di Roma e del Lazio, per un totale di 40 ore. I corsi di lingua, comuni a tutti e quattro gli indirizzi, prevedono classi plurilingue (con un massimo di quindici studenti) articolate secondo diversi livelli di competenza linguistica. Le lezioni di lingua si svolgeranno la mattina presso le aule dell Università di Tor Vergata ; nel pomeriggio, invece, gli studenti seguiranno i percorsi turistico-culturali, che si svolgeranno nel cuore di Roma e nelle maggiori città delle province laziali, secondo i programmi specifici offerti da ciascun indirizzo. La Facoltà, inoltre, offre un programma di didattica dell Italiano come lingua straniera (C2 European Framework ) per docenti e aspiranti docenti sia italiani che stranieri. Il corso, con una durata minima di due settimane, sarà articolato in 30 ore di lezioni frontali e in 40 ore di esercitazioni e lavori di gruppo. L obiettivo del corso è quello di permettere agli aspiranti docenti di acquisire le conoscenze teoriche di base e le tecniche glottodidattiche al fine di fornire loro utili strumenti atti all elaborazione di nuovi materiali per percorsi didattici futuri. A tutti i corsisti verrà rilasciato un attestato di frequenza relativo al corso scelto. The Faculty of Humanities of the University of Rome "Tor Vergata" organizes Summer Courses in Italian Language and Culture for foreigners, who wish to learn the Italian language or to improve it and, at the same time, to take part in cultural excursions that will lead them to the discovery of Rome and the Region of Lazio. Studying Italian in a university context will enable the students to attend qualifying study programs and to enjoy the natural, historical and artistic riches of the area surrounding the city of Rome. Each student can choose to attend one or more of the two-weeks programs in the time span between June 11th and August 5th The Course in Italian Language and Culture for Beginners (A1, A2 European Framework) consists of a single program of two weeks during which the students will attend Italian lessons (42 hours) at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, and will be led by their teachers in cultural excursions (28 hours) which will give them the chance to come into contact with the life of the University Campus, of the city of Rome and the Region of Lazio.

3 The Course in Italian Language and Culture for Intermediate and Upper- Intermediate students (B1, B2, C1, C2 European Framework) offers the choice between four different programs: Archaeology; Art and History; 20 th and 21 st Century Visual Arts; Culture and Territory. Each program lasts two weeks in which the students will attend Italian lessons (30 hours) and will take part in ten cultural excursions in Rome and the Castelli Romani area (40 hours). The Italian lessons (which all the students enrolled in the four programs will attend together) will be held in the morning at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. According to their level of proficiency, the students will be grouped in multilingual classes (maximum 15 students per group) starting from B1 level of the European Framework to B2 (Vantage), C1 (Effective Operational Proficiency) and C2 (Mastery). In the afternoon, the students will be engaged in cultural excursions which will be different according to the program they chose. The Faculty of Humanities also organizes Summer Courses for Italian and foreign teachers or aspiring teachers, who wish to learn how to teach Italian as a foreign language (C2 European Framework). This course lasts for a minimum of two weeks and consists of 30 hours of lessons and 40 hours of exercises and group projects. The course aims at providing the aspiring teachers with the main didactic principles and the necessary skills to enable them to prepare their own teaching aids in the future. Each student will be given a certificate of attendance relating to the course he/she chose. 4 2 corsi a scelta (4 settimane) 1.100,00 3 corsi a scelta (6 settimane) 1.500,00 4 corsi a scelta (8 settimane) 1.800,00 Nel modulo d'iscrizione gli studenti dovranno indicare, insieme al periodo prescelto, anche un periodo sostitutivo perché l'università si riserva di attivare i corsi solo quando sia stato raggiunto il numero minimo fissato di 15 iscritti. 5 On the application form, students will be requested to indicate the chosen period and an alternative one, since the courses will begin only if there is a minimum of 15 students enrolled for the chosen period.
