1 HOWS AND EVENTS West Coast Arabians Cup 2011 Riscaldati da un fantastico sole primaverile si è tenuto nelle due giornate del 30 Aprile e 1 Maggio la West Coast Cup. Questa manifestazione racchiude un Nazionale e un Internazionale di classe B affiliato Ecaho. Gli show si svolgono a Koksijde in Belgio, nella meravigliosa cornice di un antico monastero, all interno del quale vi è uno dei più rinomati ristoranti della regione. La famiglia Detailleur, organizzatrice di questi show è capitanata dal papà Koenraad e da mamma Katrien, che con le tre figlie: Louise, Marie e Esther, non lasciano nulla al caso. Tutto è curato nei minimi particolari: tavoli Vip con ogni confort e servizio bar, un ottimo campo in erba con un enorme pre ring adiacente i box, bellissimi trofei importati dall Italia e coccarde dall America e soprattutto il mezzo punto a The West Coast Cup was held on April 30 and May 1, under a wonderful spring sun. This included a National and International ECAHO B event. The shows were held in Koksijde (Belgium), with the stunning backdrop of an ancient monastery that hosts one of the most famous restaurants in the region. The organizers of these shows are the Detailleurs, headed by dad Koenraad, mom Katrien and their three daughters Louise, Marie and Esther. Everything was taken care of and nothing was left to chance: VIP tables with every comfort and bar service, an outstanding grass field with a huge pre-ring next to the loose boxes, wonderful trophies imported from Italy, ribbons from America but, above all, the half points available to the judges. This is a tiny detail, but it makes a world of difference for the success of those who work in the field, so they are able to express their 262 TUTTO ARABI

Piccolo particolare, ma di grande importanza ai fini della buona riuscita del lavoro di chi in campo, deve poter esprimere il proprio parere nei confronti di un cavallo. Navette per il trasporto di ospiti e operatori, anche se, la località non è distante dall aeroporto di Bruxel ed è molto ben servita da treni diretti. Un grande show, che può essere tale, solo grazie a tutti gli sponsor che hanno contribuito alla buona riuscita di un evento memorabile. Invitati a giudicare questi show sono stati: per il Nazionale Mrs. Anna Stefaniuk dalla Polonia, Mr. Ferdinand Schwestermann dalla Svizzera e dall Egitto Mr. Ahmed Hamza. Per l Internazionale: Mr. Manfred Hein dalla Germania, Mr. Marco Pittaluga dall Italia e il Dr. Abderrazak Hmidany dal Marocco. Nel ruolo di Ring Master. per le due giornate abbiamo avuto Mr. Ronny Vosch, un serio e simpatico professionista Belga. Per la commissione disciplinare Mr. Gijs Eggink e Mrs. Vivian Rijsel, già noti nel mondo dei DC a livello mondiale. Per tutta la manifestazione la voce di Mrs. Christien Maere ci ha comunicato in tempo reale i punteggi. Alle 9.30 in punto comincia il Nazionale C, 12 le categorie, prima adv eesere giudicata quella delle puledre di 1 anno: prima è JUVUTA (Wh Justice X Evita-N) di proprietà di Gustaaf Noel. Seconda a ½ punto AJA ROSADA (Aja Justified X Psyches Sancerre) di Athbah Stud. Accedono al campionato, per le puledre di 2 anni TF SHAHAAZ (Botswana X Shaamis Amira) di Gt Arabians. GOLDEN SUNSET J (Qr Marc X Gomera J) dell allevamento Bvba di Mrs. Christine Jamar è seconda. Ultima classe puledre, di 3 anni, vede prima FLAXMAN S GRACIA (Flaxman s Rabdan X Flaxman s Princess) di Flaxman s Arabians. MOGHTARRAH (Marwan Al Shaqab X Maroutssia) è seconda ed è di proprietà di Mr. Pascal Derde. Nei puledri di 1 anno vince la categoria FARHAJJ-D (Ajman Moniscione X Farhanah bint Navaronne-D) di proprietà di Mrs. Martine Despeghel, Dion Arabians. Buon secondo per Mrs. Sophie Roevens con il suo opinion on a horse. Shuttles were also available to transport guests and sector operators, even though the venue is not far from Brussels airport and is very well served by direct trains. A great show, which can only be so thanks to all the sponsors who contributed to the success of a memorable event. The judges invited for the National show were Mrs. Anna Stefaniuk from Poland, Mr. Ferdinand Schwestermann from Switzerland and Mr. Ahmed Hamza from Egypt. For the International show: Mr. Manfred Hein from Germany, Mr. Marco Pittaluga from Italy and Dr. Abderrazak Hmidany from Morocco. The role of Ring Master over the two days was carried out by Mr. Ronny Vosch, a serious and friendly professional from Belgium. The disciplinary commission comprised Mr. Gijs Eggink and Mrs. Vivian Rijsel, already well known around the world. Throughout the event Mrs. Christien Maere worked as the speaker, reading out to us the scores in real time. The National C, with 12 categories, started precisely at 9.30 am. The first category to be scored was that of yearling fillies: the winner was JUVUTA (Wh Justice X Evita-N) owned by Gustaaf Noel. Second by just ½ point was AJA ROSADA (Aja Justified X Psyches Sancerre) owned by the Athbah Stud. Qualifying for the championship among 2-year-old fillies was TF SHAHAAZ (Botswana X Shaamis Amira) owned by Gt Arabians. GOLDEN SUNSET J (Qr Marc X Gomera J) owned by Bvba of Mrs. Christine Jamar came second. In the last categorie among fillies, those aged 3, the winner was FLAXMAN S GRACIA (Flaxman s Rabdan X Flaxman s Princess) owned by Flaxman s Arabians. MOGHTARRAH (Marwan Al Shaqab X Maroutssia), owned by Mr. Pascal Derde, was second. The second colt category, i.e. reserved to those aged 2, was won by PSYSELINO (Borsalino K X Jb Psynderella) owned by Mrs. Liezl Els. The second place went to KYANO L (Jhulyuss Ibn Eternity D X Nycha bint Shahir D) owned by Mr. Bernard Locquet. Moving on to 3-year-old colts, TUTTO ARABI 263

Al secondo posto KYANO L (Jhulyuss Ibn Eternity D X Nycha bint Shahir D) di Mr. Bernard Locquet. Per i 3 anni è MALIK EL MASRI (Psytadel X Nathanya Jc) di Desert Horse Production, ha la meglio su MALIK EL NEFOUS (Royal Colours X Scheherazade bint Nil) di Mrs. Sophie Roevens. Passiamo alle fattrici di 4/5/6 anni: tripletta per l handler Johanna Ulstrom che porta alla vittoria le fattrici di tre categorie consecutive, con SUHALIA al SABA (Thaqib al Nasser X Simeon Siboni) di proprietà di Saba Arabians è prima davanti a HAPPY RUBI D (Honorss X Happy bint Eternity D) di proprietà di Mrs. Martine Despeghel, Dion Arabians. Nella categoria fattrici 7/8/9 anni, la fattrice ATHENA S.A. (Nuzyr Hcf X Dell Touch) di Lutetia Arabians è prima. Secondo posto per FLAXMAN S CARMEN (Fa Wisznu X Princess Odessa) di Flaxman Arabians. EL NADIKA ROSE (Sanadik El Shaklan X Dr Rosa Psyche) di proprietà di Mrs. Liezl Els è prima nella categoria fattrici di 10 anni e oltre. Seconda si classifica PERFAZJA (Batyskaf X Perforacja) di Knocke Arabians. Apre la categoria stalloni di 4/5/6 anni con un bel primo posto SHAMAEL APAL (Psytadel X Sa Natsarah) MALIK EL MASRI (Psytadel X Nathanya Jc) owned by Desert Horse Production won the top position, followed by MALIK EL NEFOUS (Royal Colours X Scheherazade bint Nil) of Mrs. Sophie Roevens. In the category of mares aged 4/5/6, there was a triple victory for the handler Johanna Ulstrom, who brought three mares to victory in three consecutive categories: they were SUHALIA al SABA (Thaqib al Nasser X Simeon Siboni) owned by Saba Arabians, followed by HAPPY RUBI D (Honorss X Happy bint Eternity D) owned by Mrs. Martine Despeghel, Dion Arabians. ATHENA S.A. (Nuzyr Hcf X Dell Touch) owned by Lutetia Arabians won the category of mares aged 7/8/9. The second place went to FLAXMAN S CARMEN (Fa Wisznu X Princess Odessa) of Flaxman Arabians. EL NADIKA ROSE (Sanadik El Shaklan X Dr Rosa Psyche) owned by Mrs. Liezl Els was the winner among mares aged 10 and over. PERFAZJA (Batyskaf X Perforacja) of Knocke Arabians came second. Opening the category of stallions aged 4/5/6 was the winner of a well-deserved first place SHAMAEL APAL (Psytadel X Sa Natsarah) owned by Muriel Heerebout. Following suit was HYPNOTIC ibn ETERNITY-D (Eternity ibn Navaronne D X Wh Marissa Rose) owned by Dion Arabians. As usual, the last category to compete was that of stallions aged 10 and over. The winner was the lovely GILLY J, sired by Ekstern P1 x Georgia, bred and owned by Mrs. Christine Jamar. FLAXMAN S RABDAN (Niyaschim X Waseem Serasoab) of Flaxman Arabians was second. Come sempre si concludono le categorie con gli stalloni di 10 anni ed oltre. Vince questa classe un bel figlio di Ekstern Pl X Georgia GILLY J allevato e di proprietà di Mrs. Christine Jamar. Lo segue FLAXMAN S RABDAN (Niyaschim X Waseem Serasoab) di Flaxman Arabians. A spezzare le categorie due eventi speciali: la Ridden Class di stalloni e la Geldings Class. La prima, si conclude con la netta vittoria sui 4 concorrenti in gara, di ARNELLE ACAPULCO (Js Marrak X Platinium Fantasy) con in sella la proprietaria, Mrs. Kristina de Kragh Guerlin. MISTIK MARQ-D (Qr Marc X Mystic Rose D) di proprietà di Mrs. Evelyn Van Look è il vincitore della seconda specialità geldings. Nel tardo pomeriggio di sabato si conclude il Nazionale con il campionato finale che consacra con medaglia d oro per le puledre JUVUTA, l Argento va a TF SHAHAAZ e medaglia di bronzo per GOLDEN SUNSET J. Nel campionato puledri va la gold medal a FARHAJJ-D, argento per PSYSELINO e bronzo a KYANO L. Oro per la fattrice ATHENA S.A., argento a SUHALIA al SABA e bronzo alla EL NADIKA ROSE. SHAMAEL APAL è medaglia d Oro stalloni, Geldings Class were used as an intermission between the categories. The former finished with a clear victory over the other 4 competitors of ARNELLE ACAPULCO (Js Marrak X Platinium Fantasy) ridden by Mrs. Kristina de Kragh Guerlin, who is also the owner. MISTIK MARQ- D (Qr Marc X Mystic Rose D) owned by Mrs. Evelyn Van Look was the winner among geldings. In the late afternoon of Saturday, the National Show came to a close with the final championship. JUVUTA obtained the Gold Medal, TF SHAHAAZ the Silver and the Bronze went to GOLDEN SUNSET J. Gold Medal in the colt championship to FARHAJJ-D, Silver to PSYSELINO and Bronze to KYANO L. The mare ATHENA S.A. won Gold, SUHALIA al SABA Silver and EL NADIKA ROSE Bronze. SHAMAEL APAL was the Golden Medal stallion, while the Silver medal was awarded to GILLY J and Bronze to HYPNOTIC ibn ETERNITY-D. Loud cheering from the stands and from all of us drew the day to a close. All the participating owners and handlers must be really congratulated. The International B Show was held the following day. New horses, new judges and new guests from all over the world. There were 80 entries. The first category was, as customary, that of the yearling fillies, and the winner was NYAAH JOY (Qr Marc X Amina Joy) owned and bred by Joy Horses. Un grande applauso dal pubblico e da tutti noi, conclude la giornata e va meritatamente a tutti i proprietari ed handler che hanno partecipato a questo show. Il giorno successivo si svolge l Internazionale B. Nuovi cavalli, nuovi giudici e nuovi ospiti provenienti da tutto il mondo. 80 i cavalli presenti, la prima categoria come di consueto è puledre di 1 anno: vince la categoria NYAAH JOY (Qr Marc X Amina Joy) di proprietà ed allevata da Joy Horses. Seconda è MAGNETAH Bint ETERNITY D (Eternity ibn Navaronne D X Magna Al Wazir) allevato e di proprietà di Dion Arabians. Prosegue con la classe puledri di 1 anno, ed è ATOMIC IBN ETERNITY D (Eternity ibn Navaronne-D X Wh Marissa Rose) di Dion Arabians a vincere la classe. Classe esagerata per le puledre di 2 anni, 14 le iscritte in gara: vince per Ajman Stud una bella figlia di Aja Justified X Kwestura AJ NOOR KWESTURA. Seconda è MONELLY (Glorius Apal X Ra Cool Elygance) di proprietà di Swaenepoel Arabians. Per la classe 4, puledri di 2 anni vince la categoria KHABEER D (Enzo X Khabala) di Mr. Van Oostenryck. AJ COMPLUTUM (Shael Dream Desert X Rga Kouress) di proprietà di Complutum Arabians si aggiudica il secondo posto. Classe 5, puledre di 3 anni. E Athbah Stud con GHANYAH ATHBAH (Eden C X JJ Ali Braska) a vincere la classe. Al secondo posto si piazza ISADORA JOY (Magnum Psyche X Silk Melody) di Joy Horses. Puledri di 2 anni per la sesta classe: F TAYMAR IBN AL LAHAB (Al Lahab X F Tahami Bint Shamaal) della Famiglia Hans e Inge Friedmann, che rivediamo con piacere in show e speriamo vivamente che si possa ritornare anche in quel di Baden Baden a godere di un altro meraviglioso evento. Al secondo posto si classifica MASCOT DES ALPES (Marwan Al Shaqab X Eamt Marihuana) di Mr. Otto Berg. Ultima categoria puledre di 3 anni. Cominciamo a vedere punteggi superiori al 93, infatti con un 93,17 si aggiudica il primo posto CS AMAY (Royal Colours X Cs Opportunity) di proprietà di Gianluca Filippi Coccata. Al secondo posto PARMANA (Al Maraam X Palmira) di Athbah Stud. Anche per i puledri si chiudono le classi con un bel primo posto per SULTAN BVA (Marajj X Clara Bey) di proprietà di Al Jassimya Stud. Secondo posto per LANCE LORD OS (Wh Justice X Swana) di proprietà di Fontanella Magic Arabians. E nella classe fattrici di 4/5/6 anni che vediamo i primi due 20 in movimento con SHOWNEL (Showkayce X Wr Likely to Strike) di proprietà di Dubai Stud. Seconda è ALIA LAHAB RSA (Al Lahab X Alia Valentino) di Hanaya Arabians. Proseguiamo con le fattrici di 7/8/9 anni, si guadagna il campionato CR JASMEENAH (Wh Justice X Fforget Me Not) di proprietà di Al ETERNITY D (Eternity ibn Navaronne D X Magna Al Wazir) bred and owned by Dion Arabians. Next to be scored were the yearling colts, where ATOMIC IBN ETERNITY D (Eternity ibn Navaronne-D X Wh Marissa Rose) of Dion Arabians was the winner. A large number of entries for the category of 2-year-old fillies, as many as 14. The winner for the Ajman Stud was a lovely daughter of Aja Justified X Kwestura, AJ NOOR KWESTURA. It was the Athbah Stud to win with GHANYAH ATHBAH (Eden C X JJ Ali Braska). The second place went to ISADORA JOY (Magnum Psyche X Silk Melody) owned by Joy Horses. The sixth category to compete was that of colts aged 2: the winner was F TAYMAR IBN AL LAHAB (Al Lahab X F Tahami Bint Shamaal) owned by Hans and Inge Friedmann. It is nice to see this colt in a show again, and let s hope this can be repeated in Baden Baden, so we can enjoy another wonderful event. The second place went to MASCOT DES ALPES (Marwan Al Shaqab X Eamt Marihuana) owned by Mr. Otto Berg. Next were the fillies aged 3. We started to see scores above 93, and in fact the winner of the top place, CS AMAY (Royal Colours X Cs Opportunity) owned by Gianluca Filippi Coccata, was awarded PARMANA (Al Maraam X Palmira) of the Athbah Stud was second. The last colt category was won by SULTAN BVA (Marajj X Clara Bey) owned by the Al Jassimya Stud. Second place for LANCE LORD OS (Wh Justice X Swana) owned by Fontanella Magic Arabians. In the category of mares aged 4/5/6 we started seeing the first 20s in movement with SHOWNEL (Showkayce X Wr Likely to Strike) owned by the Dubai Stud. ALIA LAHAB RSA (Al Lahab X Alia Valentino) of Hanaya Arabians came second. Moving to the category of mares aged 7/8/9, qualifying for the championship was CR JASMEENAH (Wh Justice X Fforget Me Not) owned by theal Jassimya Stud (Qatar). Second place for CF SHAMILA (Moroc x Ag Shamsara) owned by Mr. Francesca Tommasoni. Last were the mares aged 10 and over, with a fiercely-battled victory of the Dubai Stud with FER MIA (Jk Nasser X Martinique). Second, with the same score but fewer points in movement, was SIDI ALIJA MOON (Thee Cyclone X Sidi Bint Malika) owned by Hanaya Arabians. And now the two stallion classes! The first one, for those aged 4/5/6, was won by PSYDREAM ( Psytadel X La Diva) owned by Mr. D. Smith. He was followed by SHAMAEL APAL (Psytadel X Sa Natsarah) owned by Mrs. Muriel Heerebout. The winner of the next category, 7/8/9 years of age, was EMENES (Emeratus B X Yasmenia) owned by Mr. Miles Buckley. Termina la classe delle fattrici dei 10 anni ed oltre, una combattuta vittoria di Dubai Stud con FER MIA (Jk Nasser X Martinique). A pari punti, ma con punteggio più basso nel movimento, segue SIDI ALIJA MOON (Thee Cyclone X Sidi Bint Malika) di Hanaya Arabians. Ed ora le due classi stalloni! La prima, quella dei 4/5/6 anni se la aggiudica PSYDREAM ( Psytadel X La Diva) di proprietà di Mr. D. Smith. Lo segue SHAMAEL APAL ( Psytadel X Sa Natsarah) di Mrs, Heerebout Muriel. La classe successiva, i 7/8/9 anni vede primo EMENES (Emeratus B X Yasmenia) di Mr. Miles Buckley. Al secondo posto PSYTARO (Psytadel X Nyara Jc) della famiglia Baele. The Championship finished as follows: for mares, Gold Medal to GHANYAH ATHBAH, Silver for CS AMAY and Bronze for PARMANA. Colts: Gold Medal to SULTAN BVA, Silver to LANCE LORD OS and Bronze to KHABEER D. Mares: CR JASMEENAH won the Gold, SHOWNEL Silver and Bronze was awarded to CF SHAMILA. The Gold among stallions went to PSYDREAM, Silver to SHAMAEL APAL and Bronze to EMENES. That was the end of the West Coast Arabians Cup There is nothing left for us but to congratulate those who have given us an amazing hospitality and wish them all the best for an even richer 2012 edition! La classifica finale del Campionato è la seguente: per le puledre, medaglia d Oro a GHANYAH ATHBAH, l Argento è per CS AMAY e il bronzo per PARMANA. Puledri: oro a SULTAN BVA, argento per LANCE LORD OS e bronzo a KHABEER D. Fattrici: CR JASMEENAH è oro, SHOWNEL argento e il bronzo lo aggiudicano a CF SHAMILA. Per gli Stalloni l oro è PSYDREAM, l argento viene aggiudicato a SHAMAEL APAL e il bronzo lo porta a casa EMENES. Si conclude così questa Weastcoast Arabians Cup 2011, non ci rimane che fare i nostri complimenti a chi ci ha egregiamente ospitati e gli auguri per una edizione 2012 ancora più ricca!
