1 Lo scambio culturale che si è appena concluso è stato veramente entusiasmante per tutti i partecipanti Le allieve italiane e belghe hanno lavorato a scuola per due giorni con grande serietà, producendo prodotti multimediali molto interessanti per ciò che concerne le leggende legate al nostro territorio e le principali festività e ricorrenze tipiche dei due paesi. Sono stati presentati lavori multimediali realizzati prima dell incontro, dalle allieve delle singole scuole e poi c è stato un momento di confronto tra le alunne che ha successivamente portato alla realizzazione di vari power point che mettono in luce le differenze tra l Italia ed il Belgio per quanto riguarda gli argomenti trattati. 2 Lunedì pomeriggio le alunne del nostro istituto sono state fantastiche guide per i nostri ospiti e con grande disinvoltura hanno mostrato i luoghi di maggiore interesse di Salerno e raccontato leggende legate a quei posti. Insieme ci siamo recati agli archi dei diavoli, alla chiesa di San Benedetto, al Duomo per arrivare, attraverso le strade del centro storico, alla Villa Comunale. Salerno Cathedral

4 At the Villa Comunale Martedì pomeriggio invece le due delegazioni hanno visitato Vietri, famosa per la sua ceramica. Il paesino con i suoi tipici negozi ha colpito molto i nostri ospiti, ed inoltre sono rimasti affascinati dalla visita alla fabbrica di ceramica Solimene dove hanno potuto assistere all esecuzione di un vaso al tornio eseguito con grande maestria da un torniante. Infine, una breve visita alla villa comunale di Vietri ha permesso loro di fare simpatiche foto

6 Non poteva mancare durante lo scambio una visita ad Amalfi. Il fascino della costiera vista dal mare li ha conquistati e la professoressa Van Dongen li ha guidati tra le stradine più caratteristiche della cittadina. A perfect sunny day in Amalfi

7 Giovedì, ormai al termine del nostro scambio culturale, tutti i partecipanti si sono recati a Pompei, accompagnati dalla professoressa Gervasi. Le nostre ospiti si sono mostrate particolarmente interessate e qualcuna di loro che studia latino, ha scattato centinaia di foto. Come d abitudine ormai, anche quest anno c è stata la cena d addio, ma l atmosfera è stata festosa e gioiosa, mentre il momento della partenza, venerdì mattina è stato un po' triste perché le allieve belghe hanno socializzato molto anche con altri studenti del nostro liceo che non avevano preso direttamente parte allo scambio.

8 Il buon rapporto che si crea sempre tra gli studenti durante gli scambi ci spinge a continuare sempre con maggiore entusiasmo per dare a quanti più alunni è possibile l opportunità di trascorrere un paio di settimane con coetanei che vivono in altri paesi e contesti culturali The farewell dinner

10 This year the topic of the cultural exchange with our Belgian partner school K. A. Koekelberg focused on Salerno and Brussels legends and traditions. On their first day at school, students worked together in the lab, on some typical traditions such as Christmas, Easter, Carnival, New Year s Eve, births, weddings and funerals to see what people do and to see if there are differences between the two countries. The single schools presented first what they had prepared before the meeting and then they worked out together the differences that there are between Italy and Belgium and then they made power points to highlight them. On Monday, in the afternoon, our students introduced the Belgian partners the main attractions of Salerno and they told their friends about the legends connected to different sites such as the Cathedral or the devils arches or San Benedetto Church and the Pietro Barliario s Cross. 11 On Tuesday afternoon, after our second meeting at school, we went to Vietri to visit the small town famous for its traditional ceramic production and Solimene ceramic factory. Students and teachers really appreciated the visit to the factory since they had the opportunity to understand how ceramic objects are made. They were fascinated by the way a pot is made on a wheel and they also saw ceramicists at work, decorating some plates. We also wanted our guests visit the Amalfi coast and so we organized a trip to Amalfi on Wednesday and finally on Thursday they visited Pompei and they were fascinated by its ancient ruins On Thursday night there was the traditional farewell dinner that everybody enjoyed.

12 Friday was the day of the departure, so students said goodbye to their guests but sure that they will see them again in March
