1 Sono di seguito riportate le istruzioni per l assemblaggio del CartoModello della YZF-R1 Per facilitare il confronto con il documento originale è possibile fare riferimento al testo in inglese in blu. (Page 1) Assembly Instructions Thank you for dow nloading the "YZF-R1" paper craft model. By simply follow ing this manual w hile referring to the names and numbers show n on the parts sheets, you can assemble an authentic-looking replica of the YZF-R1. Assembly instructions: Fifteen A4-sized sheets. Paper craft: Fourteen A4-sized sheets w ith 170 parts in all These instructions apply only to the " YZF-R1". These Paper Craft parts are easier to w ork w ith w hen printed out on strong, thick paper (like postcard stock). *In creating these Paper Craft models w e use 135kg Kent paper stock (0.18mm). Seguendo le istruzioni di questo manuale, con riferimento ai nomi e ai numeri indicati, è possibile assemblare un modellino perfettamente identico alla splendida YZF-R1. Istruzioni per l assemblaggio: 15 fogli in formato A4 CartoModello: 14 fogli in formato A4 per un totale di 170 componenti Queste istruzioni si riferiscono esclusivamente alla YZF-R1. I CartoModelli vengono realizzati con maggiore facilità se stampati su carta spessa e resistente (per es. il cartoncino utilizzato per le cartoline) * Per realizzare i CartoModelli consigliamo l utilizzo di cartoncino Kent (0,18 mm) (Page 2) Note TO BEGIN Tools and materials needed -Ruler -Scissors - Blade cutter or "Exacto-knife" - Aw l or other pointed tool (for making a folding crease) - Felt pen - Pin set - Glue - Hand tow el ( for cleaning your fingers) - Dictionary or other heavy book ( to press the papers flat) (Pag 2) Note PER INIZIARE Strumenti e materiale necessari - Righello Forbici Taglierina o tagliacarte punteruolo o altro attrezzo appuntito (per piegare le linguette) pennarello puntine colla asciugamani (per pulire le dita) dizionario o altro libro pesante (per appiattire i lembi del cartoncino) Items of Caution * Take care w hen using sharp or pointed objects or w hen using bladed cutting tools. Place a heavy sheet of paper under the paper you w ant to cut.

2 * Use glue and other adhesives only in w ell-ventilated areas. * When printing, use a slightly reduced font size as there are many differences in dimensions depending on the type of printer used. Attenzione * Maneggiare con cura gli oggetti appuntiti, taglienti o muniti di lame. E consigliabile posizionare un foglio spesso di cartone sotto il foglio da tagliare. * Utilizzare collanti e adesivi esclusivamente in locali ben areati. * Nella fase di stampa utilizzare un carattere di dimensioni ridotte, poiché si verificano variazioni di dimensioni in base al tipo di carattere utilizzato dalla stampante HOW TO ASSEMBLE * Follow the w orking method and markings carefully. * Cut carefully along the outer line w ith a cutting blade, Exacto-knife or scissors. ISTRUZIONI PER L ASSEMBLAGGIO * Seguire attentamente il procedimento e i simboli indicati * Tagliare con cura lungo la linea esterna con una taglierina, un tagliacarte o un paio di forbici. ONE - POINT ADVICE * Cut carefully w ith a cutting blade, Exacto-knife or scissors. * For folding parts, first use an aw l or other pointed tool to make a light crease along the dotted or solid line. This w ill make the folds straight. Avoid making strong creases, as this w ill cause the paper to tear. * As an adhesive, w hite w ood glue is recommended. Avoid over-application as this w ill cause the paper to w rinkle. * Before beginning assembly, test adhesive amounts on extra paper. * Occasionally, w hite spots w ill be apparent on folds and cuts. Use a marker or pencil to fill-in these spots. It is recommended that this be done after each stage of assembly because coloring becomes more difficult once parts are assembled. SUGGERIMENTI * Tagliare con cura con una taglierina, un tagliacarte o un paio di forbici. * Per le linguette, utilizzare prima un punteruolo o un altro attrezzo a punta per creare una leggera incisione lungo le linee dritte o a puntini. Ciò aiuta a piegare le linguette più nettamente. Non creare incisioni troppo profonde, altrimenti la carta potrebbe strapparsi * Come collante è indicata la colla vinilica. Evitare l uso di dosi eccessive: la carta potrebbe raggrinzirsi * Prima di iniziare il lavoro testare la colla su carta di prova. * Talvolta potrebbero apparire macchie bianche sulle parti piegate o tagliate: usare un pennarello o una matita per riempire queste macchie. E consigliabile che ciò venga eseguito dopo ogni fase dell assemblaggio, poiché potrebbe risultare difficile colorare dopo che tutte le parti sono state assemblate. Be careful not to leave any glue on B-5, 8 and 9 w hen inserting B-10 and 11. Apply glue on the area indicated in the illustration. H-4 should straddle H-3 and H-6. Refer to the illustration to assemble other parts. Gluing area Apply glue in the back Insert the frame up to these red dotted lines. (Pag 13) 11 CONCLUSIONE Istruzioni per l assemblaggio Incollare le parti assemblate in ordine numerico di successione 1 - Istruzioni specifiche per l assemblaggio del telaio e del codone. Dopo aver inserito il telaio nel codone all altezza delle linee rosse tratteggiate, incollare le due parti dall interno.
