Dal 1945 la famiglia Manni vi ha legato il proprio nome, costruendo una realtà industriale che oggi guida il mercato internazionale dei prodotti siderurgici, dei pannelli isolanti metallici, delle energie rinnovabili e dell efficienza energetica. Tre generazioni, da Luigi a Francesco che affianca il padre Giuseppe, hanno fatto del Gruppo Manni e delle aziende controllate un partner tecnico e strategico di prim ordine per know-how, qualità, innovazione e servizio. Doti che gli hanno permesso di posizionarsi tra i maggiori fornitori di acciaio di Expo Milano 2015. Strong, flexible, ductile. Steel is one of the most versatile materials. Since 1945 the Manni family has been related to steel and has built an industrial company that today guides the international market in steel products, insulated metal panels, renewable energy and energy efficiency. Three generations, from Luigi to Francesco alongside with his father Giuseppe, have made Gruppo Manni and its controlled companies a top-ranking technical and strategic partner for know-how, quality, innovation and service. LETTERA DEL PRESIDENTE LETTER FROM THE CHAIRMAN IL CONTESTO ECONOMICO, LE COSTRUZIONI, LA MECCANICA E L EXPORT NEL Per il terzo anno consecutivo l economia italiana è in recessione. Nel ha colpito ulteriormente il settore delle nuove costruzioni, mentre mantengono un trend positivo le ristrutturazioni. L impiego dell acciaio si mantiene debole e solo al 1 trimestre dell esercizio 2015 si manifestano i primi segni di inversione di tendenza. In questo contesto il Gruppo Manni ha prodotto ogni sforzo per ottimizzare l organizzazione produttiva, che gli ha consentito nella seconda parte dell anno di produrre oltre il 50% delle strutture metalliche utilizzate per realizzare i padiglioni di Expo2015. Inoltre ha dato inizio alla produzione nel nuovo stabilimento Isopan Deutschland e avviato l investimento in Russia. ECONOMIC BACKGROUND, CONSTRUCTIONS, MECHANICS AND EXPORT IN For three consecutive years the Italian economy has been in recession. During the recession has heavily affected the new building industry while renovations still maintain a positive trend. The demand for steel remains weak and only the 1st quarter of 2015 shows the first signs of improvement. In this context, Gruppo Manni has done its best to optimize the production s organization, and that s the reason why we were able to provide, during the second half of the year, the necessary steel elements for more than half of the steel structures within Expo2015 pavilions. In the new production plant of Isopan Deutschland we have also started producing steel isolating panels and at the same time we have lunched investments in Russia. RISULTATI E SVILUPPI Anche nel il Gruppo Manni ha alzato il livello degli investimenti, pari a 16,84 milioni di Euro, e mantenuto alto quello degli addetti con 869 unità (circa mille considerando anche gli indiretti). Il fatturato aggregato è salito del 6% a 493 milioni di Euro, dato particolarmente significativo considerando i consumi in Italia ridotti di circa il 5%. Il risultato finale netto, pari a 1,86 milioni di Euro, è positivo, nonostante le condizioni generali economico-finanziarie si siano mantenute sfavorevoli. Un ringraziamento va a tutti i collaboratori che hanno accettato con entusiasmo l opportunità di contribuire alle nuove iniziative di business internazionali. Il Gruppo ha investito in decine di persone, formando i più intraprendenti collaboratori e inserendone alcuni con professionalità specifiche, di tutti i livelli. Un ringraziamento particolare va a tutto il middle management, che rappresenta le nuove linee per la futura direzione e che ha mostrato il coraggio di affrontare il nuovo mondo che abbiamo deciso di intraprendere. RESULTS AND DEVELOPMENT During Gruppo Manni improved investments up to 16.84 million Euro, keeping high the number of employees up to 869 people (about 1 thousand if we also consider independent contractors). The total turnover increases of 6% to 493 million Euro, which is particularly significant if we consider that consumption in Italy has fallen by approx. 5%. The final net result is positive and amounts to 1.86 million Euro, despite the general economic and financial conditions remain unfavourable. A Thank you goes to all our employees who have enthusiastically accepted to give a positive contribution to all international business initiatives. The Group has invested in a high number of people, by building the most enterprising employees and introducing some with highly specific skills, on all levels. A special gratitude goes to all our middle management, who represents the guidelines towards our future goals and has shown the courage to face the new world that we have decided to pursue.
