5 Arcadia ARCADIA method explains how to apply THALES SE process, by means of a sequence of detailed engineering activities. It is divided in five main engineering levels: Operational Analysis, identifying the operational context and stakeholders needs, System Analysis, identifying system functional perimeter with regards to external actors, specification of the expected behaviour, Logical Architecture, defining a first system internal architecture independent from the technical solution, yet considering non-functional constraints, Physical Architecture, defining a system detailed architecture, taking into account technical implementation and deployment aspects, Contracts for development & IVVQ, identifying the development and integration contracts for each product, given the industrial breakdown. 5

10 Virtual Reality 10 Virtual Reality (Synthetic) and Real Virtuality (3D reconstruction from real images) techniques are already in use in Thales Alenia Space since years: to provide the user with an immersive experience to support design and development phases to support AIT (Assembly Integration and Test) activities for training Proprietary applications: designed and developed in close link with the final users taking advantage of the continuous feedback.
