Conclusioni CKD è il singolo più importante fattore di rischio per AKI. AKI su CKD aumenta il rischio di ESRD e di morte a breve e lungo termine La valutazione combinata del GFR e della proteinuria (albuminuria) consente una migliore stratificazione del rischio di sviluppare AKI sulla base della CKD ai fini delle indicazioni chirurgiche e dell adozione di misure preventive La grande diffusione del rischio di AKI e l elevata incidenza di AKI nei pazienti con CKD suggeriscono la necessità di una gestione attenta del rischio, della messa in opera di strategie preventive e della ricerca di nuove strategie di prevenzione.
